The space is so clean and intimate you feel like she is there just for you. I feel sorry for the front desk staff, Ive heard them get an earful from upset customers while standing in the lobby. There's one little room dedicated to massage, and it's like walking out of the iron-pumping environment right into a spa. The Enya music helped... Amanda was my massage therapist, and all I can say is she is a FABULOUS masseuse. She asked if I liked deep pressure, which I do, and she was able to use an intense, deep pressure throughout the whole massage. If you don't prefer to be beat up that much during a massage (which I guess I do!), I'm sure any massage done by her would be beneficial and enjoyable. I would probably give BodyWorks a 3.5 star rating if I could, just because it's SO far away - I live right in Nashville, and driving down to 96 Franklin is quite a stretch! But Amanda (and probably the few other massage therapists at BodyWorks) is really, really good at what she does. And, they are fixin' to slash their prices by quite a few dollars in the near future (to $45 an hour!). I think being hidden in the Franklin Athletic Club isn't attracting the business they'd hoped for... A hot stone massage is also available, although I don't know if that will be offered for $45. You are able to buy a package of massages, therefore saving a little bit on each.
