The space is so clean and intimate you feel like she is there just for you. I have never had a more comfortable bed, hers was Tempur-pedic and heated so I didn't get cold and uncomfortable like I usually do at other places. Dorothy is super talented and knowledgeable, she is my new go to gal. Cannot wait for my next visit!!! I drive an hour and a half to come and see her, it's that worth it!

I had some extenuating life circumstances and could not get there and so now I get to lose hundreds of dollars which may now be over a thousand for nothing. Just billed to my credit card each month. I feel sorry for the front desk staff, Ive heard them get an earful from upset customers while standing in the lobby. I'll never recommend anyone get the monthly membership, you may save a few dollars on the front end, but you definitely lose big time on the back end, if life happens.

The BodyWorks in Franklin is located inside the Franklin Athletic Club. It seemed a little…read morestrange, walking into this very nice gym for a massage and not a total body work-out. BodyWorks made a smart move and participated in Groupon-like Qpon, which I purchased, or I probably never would have known they're there. There's one little room dedicated to massage, and it's like walking out of the iron-pumping environment right into a spa. The Enya music helped... Amanda was my massage therapist, and all I can say is she is a FABULOUS masseuse. She asked if I liked deep pressure, which I do, and she was able to use an intense, deep pressure throughout the whole massage. If you don't prefer to be beat up that much during a massage (which I guess I do!), I'm sure any massage done by her would be beneficial and enjoyable. I would probably give BodyWorks a 3.5 star rating if I could, just because it's SO far away - I live right in Nashville, and driving down to 96 Franklin is quite a stretch! But Amanda (and probably the few other massage therapists at BodyWorks) is really, really good at what she does. And, they are fixin' to slash their prices by quite a few dollars in the near future (to $45 an hour!). I think being hidden in the Franklin Athletic Club isn't attracting the business they'd hoped for... A hot stone massage is also available, although I don't know if that will be offered for $45. You are able to buy a package of massages, therefore saving a little bit on each. Especially if you're in Franklin, I'd go here for a seriously good massage before anywhere "fancier" (of which there are plenty in Franklin!).

Yes, it's unusual to be in the gym but they've got a kiosk, room, and great therapists. Recently moving back to Nashville, I decided to visit Austin at Bodyworks as I had 2 sessions with him before moving away. His technique and range of pressure were awesome. He incorporated some stretching throughout the massage which added to the overall quality, and he knew when to use deeper and light pressure that I was completely relaxed and comfortable.

Before we got started she asked for my problem spots, if I had any injuries she'd need to be careful around and then used the perfect amount of pressure throughout the massage. The spa area was on its own side separate from the salon. Once you enter the "quiet" side, there is a waiting area to hangout in until your masseuse is ready for you.
