If I could give this "business" 0 stars, I would. They have stolen money from me by not rendering the services that I have already paid for. My horrible experience started in October when I purchased 3 gift certificates/vouchers for 1 hr massages each. My mother and I went for our 1 hr massage. As I was being massaged, the "therapist" told me that he was a student. At no time did they ask permission or even mention that a student would be massaging me. I have back problems and thought that only licensed therapists perform the massages (especially for the price) unless you give consent for a student to do it. When it was my mother's turn, they informed me that they were closing early (as they usually do) and that my mother could only get a 1/2 hr and that she could reschedule for another 1/2 hr at a later date. Although this was very disappointing because it was part of my mother's birthday gift, she said fine. I scheduled for my last 1 hr massage in November. Initially, the owner Gina made my appointment, but a day or so before I was due to come in, her mother called and canceled causing me to reschedule. I was accommodating and did so. They also called my mother and canceled her appointment as well. They then called another time and canceled that rescheduled appointment. Still, I did not get upset, I just rescheduled. When I finally did come in, the therapist just happened to mention my "half hour massage". I corrected her and told her that I was there for an hour. She seemed surprised and checked with the owner's mother who told her to go ahead with the hour. 20 minutes into the massage, the therapist left out, came back, and continued the massage, and 10 minutes later said, "I was told that I could only give you a half hour but you can purchase another half hour". I was shocked b/c obviously she was given this information when she went out and she didn't say anything to me until "my time was up". I said to her that I didn't understand, we just talked about this and you all agreed on the hour. She told me to talk to the owner's mother. This lady was one of the rudest people I have ever met in my life! She did everything short of calling me a liar and said that I already used my hour massage and that I only had half an hour left (she was referring to my mother's remaining time). I pulled out my 1 hr gift certificate and showed it to her and explained that I had bought 3 and used only 1 and a half. She continued to argue with me and tell me that I was lying even though I had proof of the remaining hour in my hand. She then looked through their books and saw that indeed I had not used the remaining hr, but still made me call my mother to ask her if she had her voucher in her possession. After continuing to argue with me and make rude comments, she saw that she had accidentally crossed out the use of my hr massage on a notebook that they used to keep track of vouchers (which is an archaic system when money is involved) and even was able to pull out everyone's used vouchers but saw that mine had not been used. She did not apologize and was very angry with me and just told me to reschedule. Several days later her daughter Gina called me and was initially kind and apologized for her mother and offered to personally do my massage for an hr. I tried to reschedule at that time, but she said that she would be out of the office for several weeks due to personal matters. I said fine and asked her to call me when she returned. January rolled around and I didn't hear anything so I called the store. I was told that Gina would be out until Feb. Feb. came and I still had not received a call so I went into the store. Although Gina was back working, her mother refused to make my appointment and told me Gina would call me back. Weeks later, after I had to call again, her mother reluctantly made my appointment for March 8th! As I was getting ready for my massage on the 8th, Gina called me and canceled my appointment AGAIN!! She stated that she had more personal problems. I understand personal issues, but they run a business and have already collected my money and canceled too many times. I told her that at this point I just want my money back, I have been more than nice and accommodating. She refused and said that the vouchers are nonrefundable, she grew angry and said that I should just find another place to get a massage and then she HUNG UP THE PHONE! These people are so unprofessional, that at this point, I wouldn't want them to touch my body. They not only owe me for the half hr that they never did the massage but my mother also feels uncomfortable and does not want to return either. I have written proof provided by them, of what they owe me, This "business" is rarely open during the hrs that they claim to be and they are using students but charging full price for the services without informing the clients.
