I've been obsessed with watching head spa videos on TikTok for the last year so I was ecstatic when…read moremy mom got me a gift card for my bday last weekend. I've been watching videos so every spa is going to do something different. My experience was awesome - if you like a really good shampoo massage when you get your hair done this is for you. I was wearing a blindfold so I really couldn't see what she was doing but it was three different products massaged into your hair and scalp, and then rinsed with this sprinkler type contraption that rinsed your hair. She also did a shoulder/neck/massage which was nice. They did not do a scalp analysis with the fancy machine like I've seen in some videos. When I thought it was over she told me to sit up and she then got on the table behind me and proceeded to massage my back and stretch me like a human pretzel. It felt incredible. Wasn't expecting that but loved it. Aesthetically this was basic decor -you are in a room with all the tables - each area has a curtain but it's pretty sheer. Also they will give you a towel wrap to wear as your top half will be wet. When I asked her what she used, she showed me bottles which were in Chinese One did say masque so I'm guessing that was last step. They have a small changing room with a small vanity for you to blowdry your own hair but I ended up going home and drying it myself. My technician was Linda. She was amazing - especially if you like a deeper massage. HIGHLY RECOMMEND her. She will ask your preference and I told her the deep pressure was great. I've already told many friends about this gem! I'll definitely be back. I didn't do the steam one but will try that next time.

WORST MASSAGE EVER! First of all, and friend and I went into JJ day spa for the deep tissue hot…read morestone massage, but they ended up leading us outside to a spa next door. I forgot the name of it but there were pink and green flowers in the hallways and I think the lobby was painted red. Buyers beware of this bait and switch. Now for the massage review. My masseuse was so rough on my shoulders that a day later I am STILL in pain - inflamed and tender the touch (which prompted me to write this now). The back massage was also wildly uncomfortable. She moved so quickly and frantically that it felt like carpet burn, even will all the GOBS of oil she was using. When the hot stones came, she also used them wildly that I finally had to speak up to ask her to slow down. Unfortunately, she nor the other masseuse in the room understood a single word I said, even after attempting to mime it out to her! So she continued to manhandle my back before moving on to my legs where she applied an ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC amount of pressure. Seriously, it felt like just putting on lotion on after a shower. I've never left a massage feeling worse than when I started but somehow they pulled it off. Awful. 0/10.

I…read moremade an appointment for a mani/pedi based on a recommendation from my sister who lives in the area and could not be more happy with the service or the genuinely nice people who work here. I arrived wearing a mask and was asked a series of health questions to ensure the safety of employees and clients. The girl asking the questions was both polite and professional. The salon is spotless. No dust or hair on the floor or the retail shelves. While waiting for my service I observed tons of cleaning going on with an emphasis on high-traffic touch points. The pedicure chair was comfortable and had a nice massage feature. Each pedicure chair was separated by a clear shield so you could still see everyone around you. All employees were wearing a mask, and more importantly, wearing them the correct way. I didn't see a nose or a mouth the entire time I was there, LOL!!! I was fortunate to have an appointment with Lindsay. In a nutshell, she's fabulous. Besides being very friendly and easy to chat with, her work is immaculate and precise. I've never had anyone pay such attention to detail when doing a pedicure. My nails were cut and filed gently. After applying the polish to each nail, Lindsay painstakingly used a brush soaked in acetone around each nail plate to ensure there was no bleedover of color. Calluses were smoothed over and I was given the choice of warm towels and a shorter foot massage or no towels and a longer foot massage. Who wouldn't choose the longer foot massage???? My manicure was just as good. All the filing is done by hand, which is a lost art these days and something you definitely don't get at an average nail place. Lindsay took her time and shaped my nails exactly how I asked and made them as short as I wanted them with no complaints, all the while making great conversation and making me feel at home and relaxed. This was my first post-covid manicure and my cuticles were a mess. Lindsay was gentle but determined to get them cleaned up correctly. After weeks of quarantine, my first salon visit was truly a treat. I walked in as a new customer and left being a new client. Thanks for a fabulous experience, Lindsay!
