I had another amazing experience at Tokyo Massage this afternoon! I've been here before for a deep…read moretissue massage, and this time I tried the relaxation massage. It was exactly what I needed. My massage therapist, Sia, was absolutely wonderful. She was so kind, professional, and attentive throughout the entire session. She regularly checked in to make sure the pressure was comfortable and asked if I wanted more or less, which I really appreciated. I've struggled with tightness and knots in my neck and shoulders for a long time, and I've tried everything from massage guns to massage chairs with very little relief. Sia's techniques made such a difference, especially in my shoulders. It felt so good to finally get some relief after dealing with that discomfort for so long. The atmosphere was peaceful, relaxing, and very professional exactly what you want when getting a massage. As I was leaving, they even gave me a bottle of water and coconut water, which was such a thoughtful touch. The prices are also much more affordable than many other places I've been, and the quality of the massage exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely be coming back, and they'll be seeing my face a lot more. Highly recommend!

Truly a gem in Miami. I had an appointment today that I booked via phone call. My cousin had…read moregotten me a Groupon deal for a 60-minute massage during the Holidays, which was perfect because my body had been aching really badly. Upon arriving, I found parking easily. I took the stairs to the second floor and went to the suite. When I entered the office, the owner, Alex, and a staff member greeted me right away. They had me fill out a form for my basic information. Then Alex asked me what kind of massage I wanted (deep-tissue, stretching, areas to concentrate on, any pains, etc.) and if I wanted to use the restroom before we started. I didn't have a preference for the gender of the masseuse, so Alex did my massage. He showed me the room and it was pretty cozy. The massage bed was heated and wow! It felt amazing already! After taking off my clothes (except undergarment), I laid on the bed under the covers face down. Then Alex knocked and came in, and confirmed what to work on in the 60 minutes. He started with my back and neck and worked his way to arms/hands, legs/feet, and then put hot towels on my back. It felt awesome. I thought the massage was finished but Alex instructed me to turn over, so I was like--wow, the massage was so good that I thought it was done already. He did stretches, physical therapy moves, massaged my collar bone areas (my first time), and asked me how the pressure was throughout the session. He was very professional, respectful, and passionate. You can tell that he was good because he pinpointed where my pains were and asked if what he was doing was helping to relieve the areas. At the end of the session, Alex thanked me and told me to take my time in the room and he will be at the front. When I went to the front after getting dressed, he gave me a bottled water and asked me how I felt, if the pains are still there, and what did I think of the massage. He said he is the owner and told me about the specials they are having if I wanted to go back. He was not pushy at all and was respectful. His English was not great but he really tried and we were able to communicate anyways. The plaza itself is kind of dingy but the massage place is fine in my opinion. It's truly a gem in Miami. The restroom isn't very appealing design-wise but it is functional. I would recommend this business, as the service itself was great and parking is free. You can really tell that the owner really cares and wants the best for his clients. I would definitely come back again.

My Facials are my time to take care and pamper myself. I understand that Tatiana is the proprietor but she should not allow her staff to walk in during appointments to ask questions and gather supplies. This is simply unprofessional and disruptive to my experience. Sadly, I no longer go to this Spa because it was getting much too frustrating for me to appreciate the experience. I'm giving 4 out of 5 stars because she really does do a good job. Just the lack of respect for the client is my issue.

Just want to clarify that before my appointment no evaluation was made of my skin and no questions were asked about my type of skin as well as I was not aware or informed of what she was even putting on my skin at the moment of the procedure. She said I had an infection on my skin because of pimple patches (it was just three mini pimples on the lower side of my face) and she proceeds to SPRAY salicylic acid on the area and ended up spraying on my chin where I had nothing wrong at, when she sprayed I literally SAW STARS but I stayed quiet because I assumed it was part of the procedure, when I got up my face was red and irritated but I thought it was because of the extractions, the next morning I notice my skin BURNT on my chin and where I used to have the three pimples, she told me to apply cortisone which I'm glad I went to a pharmacist about because they said that would only irritate the area more. In conclusion, do NOT come here they do not truly care about your skin and your best results they assume your skin is going to endure what they use on everybody else and don't truly realize people with sensitive skin exist. I only got my refund because I asked for it, if I wouldn't have asked for it I doubt they would've offered, won't be returning.

This review is a 3-part review based on different therapists…read more 11/4/23 BELKIS: Belkis is 1 of 3 therapists that do Deep Tissue Massages and was absolutely HORRIBLE! First, Belkis used her elbows for almost the entirety of the session. I have a very high tolerance for pain as many of my massages were to help alleviate pain from either injury or surgery recovery, which is extremely painful, so for me to tell a therapist they are hurting me is a lot. I had to ask BELKIS to stop on several occasions, because she dug her elbow into me and put all her body weight into it and I almost jumped off the table on several occasions because the pain was mind numbing. I told her to stop on many occasions and she just acted like I was being a baby about it! I woke up the next day with a bunch of Black & Blues and was so tender the touch that if my husband tried to caress me, I cringed from the PAIN! all in all I would give BELKIS ZERO STARS!!! She does not even earn 1 star in my opinion. 12/8/23 NILDA: Nilda is the 2nd of 3 therapists at this location who does Deep Tissue massages, and I was very happy with how she performed. Nilda was very knowledgeable, skilled, and personable and had a nice range of hand strength. She had a knack for finding my knots and working them out. Of course, there were times when it hurt but that's the nature of deep tissue massages and working out tight muscles. By the end of the session, I was relaxed and limber. I give NILDA 5 Stars. 1/2/24 YAIMA: Yaima is the 3rd and final therapist at this location that does Deep Tissue massages and was highly recommended by Nilda. I am very happy to say that of the 3 she is by far the BEST. She was extremely knowledgeable and really knew how to hone in on all my little knots and tense areas. What I liked best was that she was able to focus on my very tender spots with minimal pain. She put a lot of effort into my lower back/Neck & shoulders and although it was very tense, she was able to work it in a way that allowed me to breathe through it without piercing pain. Don't get me wrong it hurt, but the method she used to attack the areas was amazing. By far the best experience I've had in a LONG time. I can't wait to return for another massage by Yaima! She is phenomenal and I recommend her highly. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!! The location is maintained well, rooms are very clean, as well as the bathroom & waiting area. The front office employees are super nice and pleasant. I'm only giving the location 4 stars instead of 5 because the BELKIS experience was simply unforgivable! 1/28/26 UPDATE: Do date both Nilda & Yaima are my GO TO Therapists for much needed massages. They are both helping me recover from a Full Knee Replacement surgery and my Physical therapist, as well as my Surgeon are amazed at how much range of motion I have in such a short period of time. I get massages on a weekly basis (with my surgeons approval of course!) and both ladies really do an incredible job loosening up my super tense leg muscles. The hardest part of recovering from this type of surgery from what I've gathered is trying to get your muscles to loosen up enough to regain full mobility and flexibility. I love that I have 2 fantastic therapists because if one is unavailable I'm usually lucky enough to get the other. The weekly massages along with my daily physical therapy have me walking like all is well. I still have a long way to go but I am confident that my recovery will continue to advance with my girls by my side.
