I had 9am appointment on Sunday before so I booked it again.To my surprise,when I arrived at 9am on Sunday, the door was locked and lights off-sign at the door said they open at 10am! That is not an experience I'd like to have on Sunday morning. Still expecting a call with Appologies for an error with the booking. Update: I received a follow up call the same morning and had my appointment rescheduled for the same day with another therapist who were more apologetic than the front office staff. I received a two hour massage from Sydney and she was phenomenal. I typically like more firm massages and if you see Sydney you don't expect to receive a massage. But! She was great. Received the worst massage ever at this location. Zeeba was sweet, but massaging is not her thing. I requested a light pressure massage and she ended up digging her elbows in my back. I had her adjust the pressures few times, but the technique was just not there. She essentially rubbed lotion on my body with flaccid hands. There was no rhyme or reason to her movements. She had no clue how to navigate my sore muscles. I'm not picky when it comes to massages, but this one was awful. I did not leave feeling relaxed or rejuvenated. They didn't offer bottled water or anything at check out. 0/10 would not recommend. read more

Canceled my membership due to constant issues with scheduling, as well as weird pushback when I declined a certain inexperienced therapist after a negative experience. Twice I made appts (90 mins) for my teen and I, specifying under 18, needed same gender therapist and same room. Appts made weeks in advanced both times. The morning of the first set, I get a call cancelling, but told, in writing, I could transfer to another location (which ended up not being true and not made aware of until AFTER the session when the other location wanted full payment). Made another set of appt, 3 weeks ahead of time, same needs and repeated to be sure receptionist understood. 24 hours in advance, get a text asking to confirm. SEVEN MINUTES before the session (at 3:30 in the afternoon) I get a call canceling. Manager non responsive each time. read more

Sandon is the best! I always leave better than when I came in. He is courteous, listens to your needs, and has excellent technique. I had gone to the chiropractor to address pains in my hip and shoulder area. However, after 4 sessions with the chiropractor, it was Sandon who managed to work out these areas and I don't have the chronic pain I had previously. It's an out-of-world experience. My concerns about cool front desk staff are no longer applicable since I did my initial review. I just saw a couple of interactions with difficult customers (one of who was being unreasonable about being late), and I think it left the staff feeling a bit skiddish, but the front desk staff were always professional. Since that time, they all know me, and are incredibly pleasant and warm, so I literally have no reservations giving this place 5 stars. The other thing I have never commented on is the VALUE. With the membership, while you commit to a certain amount of service for 12 months, it is very customer centered, in that the dollars roll over, and the membership therapy rate is very reasonable for the quality of service. read more

Update (12/15/22) I'm becoming more and more frustrated with this specific location. I called to schedule a prenatal appointment and I was told there was no one unavailable to do it the next day. But the girl had only checked Paula's schedule. When I asked about Michael she stated "Michael doesn't do prenatal." I responded "Excuse me? Ma'am I just just had a prenatal with him a few weeks ago (see my review below) and also I had one with him during my previous pregnancy." She was quiet then said "well he barely does prenatal, only for select clients." WTF. I was quite disappointed because it sounds like they aren't offering people up to do massages. I am a paying membership client at this location. I will say I went to the Memorial City location last week and was met with a more polished, professional, knowledgeable staff. I may have to make a location switch because I am finding the Vanderbilt location is not meeting my needs. ------ First Review (GOOGLE, Nov 2022) While Michael did a good job, I was definitely shorted on time with my 90 minute prenatal. I was pulled back at 10:45 which was the start time of my massage. I was surprised to see that Michael's clock on the wall was fast by 6 minutes. He ended the massage at 1210pm, when in reality it was 1204pm. I probably had 70 minutes of contact time for a 90 minute massage when in reality I should have received 80 to 85. Very convenient, clean location that is very tranquil like a spa should be. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I had a 1.5 hour massage scheduled with Andrea and she was good. I felt like the first half of the massage didn't push out my knots as well but the 2nd half definitely did. The massage of the extremities - arms and legs - wasn't memorable but the shoulders were good. I wish there was a little more technique where I can feel the knots being pushed out. I didn't wake up feeling like I had a good beating like I'm use to after a good massage. Maybe I needed more pressure for the deep tissue? Either way it left me relaxed and it was nice. Probably not the best massage I've had though. It was good for the introductory price but I probably wouldn't come back without a membership at the costs. read more

I loved this location because the therapists were sooo good and the staff was always very nice. UNTIL... I booked couples massages for my fiancé and I for valentines day. We were really looking forward to relaxing. Unfortunately, I seriously underestimated the traffic heading to the appointment. Our appointment was for 6 pm. At 550 pm, we were still in the car and nowhere near the spa. I called and spoke to a nice lady, told her my name, and that we would be about 15 minutes late due to traffic. She looked up my appointment and said okay. I said, verbatim "is that ok? should I still come? like will we still be able to get our full time and everything?" she said verbatim, "yes that'll be fine." I kept heading that way. I ended up being 25 minutes late. I was greeted very nicely upon arriving, then told by my therapist that my massage would only be 30 minutes instead of an hour since I was late. Now, this would have been PERFECTLY understandable had I not been told that we would still get an hour regardless. Long story short, the "director" and the front desk lady who I spoke to said that I never told them that I would be late and that they never told me that I would still get the full hour. They said I never asked anything about that and called me a liar. I was also told that my card would be charged. I think the lady was scared to get in trouble for giving me the wrong info over the phone because in her eyes she looked like she wanted to admit that she did tell me that, but instead she proceeded to make me seem like I made the entire conversation up. I've tried to speak with someone about this via request over the phone and through the email survey and nobody has reached out. I was literally treated like crap and humiliated. I'm a member that pays for a massage every single month and that passes up a location 2 minutes from my house just to come to this one 30 minutes away from my house and I was called a liar, threatened to be charged, did not receive a massage, and have been ignored when attempting to follow up. Been a regular at this massage heights in Vanderbilt but I was having a tough time trying to find a masseuse that matched my preferences until I found Paola!! She's very professional, listens to your needs, and knows where to find the right spot when you ask for it. I usually request for light pressure since I have a thin/boney back but despite this, she was very careful with how much pressure she applied while still hitting all of my sore spots. My husband and I booked a couples massage and our maps took us the wrong way so we called and spoke to Hayley advising we would be late and she stated that it wouldn't be an issue because both therapist did not have appointments after us so it wouldn't cut into our time. We showed up shortly after and our hour massage was cut by 20 mins. My husband's therapist cut parts out of his massage I suppose due to shortening the massage. It was ok. My boyfriend enjoyed his massage but I did not. Somehow even though we were in the same room with the same paid for service we received totally different things. My attendant had no passion or good energy he was just technical. He also forgot to do hot stones and said oh next time I didn't know, yet my boyfriend had them done right next to me. I went in not expecting much I've gone to places in Houston and I could not actually find a place that actually made me feel relaxed or met my needs. Usually I love getting a massage every time I go to Colorado. Anyways, this massage was amazing . Amy Hui gave me a deep tissue massage that made me feel completely refreshed. I loved how she would ask me if I was okay. Loved how attentive she was and the fact that she used essential oils. Lavender oil is the bomb! Okay place. I was pressured into signing the 6-month contract and I am truly unhappy about it. Fair warning, if they start with the sales pitch, take your time to think about it. The reason you are pressured to sign into this contract is for their company to have a guaranteed revenue stream from their customers. For each of the 6 months you are in that contract, they are guaranteed your money. There is no getting out of it. The stipulations in the contract will not let you gift it to friends or family, which I don't understand if you are getting paid from me every week. And when all this is brought up to the front desk, no one does anything. The customers are not honored. I give them two stars because the place is fairly cute, the people are sweet, but the company is struggling financially and it truly shows in their pushy sales approach.
