I moved to Vero Beach July 2025. I have been a ME member for 17 years in total. I transferred my ME membership to Cape Coral from RI in April 2024 with no extra charges or fees. I wanted to transfer my membership from Cape Coral, FL to Vero Beach. They told me I could not do this and needed to use the 14 visits I have accumulated first then end my membership with Cape Coral, ok fair enough. I made an appt and went in for a 90 min massage. When I went to check out they told me there was an additional 30$ charge for my 90 min massage visit which NO ONE ever told me over the phone when I booked the appt. They call it a 'state reciprocity charge'. So basically since the Vero Beach location membership charges 80$ per 1 hr service /per moth. I was only paying 60$ per month. All ME are independently owned so I basically they can do whatever they want. In short I would be paying an extra 240$ to use my accumulated hrs already paid for. I spoke to the manager Katie and she said those are the rules there. I called around and sound a ME in Palm Bay who will accept my transfer from Cape Coral at the amount of 60$ per month and there are no additional charges or 'RECIPROCITY FEES" Beware if you are visiting here in Vero Beach using your visits from another state or another part of FL or trying to transfer your membership. They will not allow a transfer and they will upcharge you if you are a member paying less then 80$ /1 hr . The same manager Katie manages 3 other ME so this policy is true for others in Vero Beach, Fort Pierce and Stuart. Call around as other ME in the Palm Bay / Melbourne area DO NOT do this. It's a way of screwing people and pocketing extra cash. read more

***Beware of their membership's*** got a call from the store's Manager wondering why i haven't made my 11th payment when i only agreed to a 6 month membership. As a first timer i was very quick to trust the word of an associate they state is no longer there, and essentially that it is MY responsibility to have known to look at their contract (from a massage membership mind you) that according to that manager clearly states somewhere in this EMAILED contract that after my 6 months is over i am to have called to cancel, or it will auto renew and i guess just keep going forever if they keep being able to withdraw the funds??. To add icing to this already crazy call im propositioned with the following ultimatum: you have 5 saved massages and 3 past due payments we can cancel out 3 of those 5 and leave you 2 after or we can cancel the whole thing now and you lose all the 5 ALREADY PAID FOR massages. I told her there was a mistake and that shouldnt have even been taken in the first place, which she immediately dismissed. I ask manager if she has notes and one of them was that i was contacted about my payments but that i hung up on the associate (that was store notes according to this Manager and also not true). At no time have i ever asked for my money back so this isnt about a customer just getting on yelp to act out over something they want back, nope, this is a customer completely shocked at a Manager telling me that essentially if i would have not noticed the extra charges and stopped them that i would be paying for as long as they could keep charging, even after time i was told elapsed? The manager knew to contact me for declined payment (i put a stop payment) but didnt think it odd that there is a customer who has 5 pending massages and they never thought to ask if there was an issue??? I signed up last year for there month to month services through my job. The massages were good, but they old me for two hours which I didn't use or could not use do to. Covid 19 .... they sent me a email saying your hours will be cover until July. I have tried to a schedule my appointment but each time after it's scheduled I get a text saying sorry disregard the previous text.. so I call and they say no you don't have and appointment or we cannot schedule at this time... so basically they took 2 hours I paid for and because I canceled my service with time left I cannot use it!!! They stopped their 1st time newcomer pricing about 3 months ago. You now have to pay full price but they don't tell you that until after the massage. This location charged me $125 for a massage that had no more than 40 minutes of actual hands on massage. I have no idea what the lady was doing because my face was in a cradle but she would stop and walk around the room. Her technique made me feel more like I was being punished than rewarded. They ask you about gratuity in front of the entire staff and other clients and everyone stares at you until you answer. Very uncomfortable. I came here to unwind and relax, but I'm more stressed out than before. I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy subpar massages at ridiculous prices. I've been getting massages from all over the united states for over 23 years and this is one of the worst places to go. Spend your money on someone else that actually cares about you and not just your money. The staff was friendly enough but when I got concerned about the price for a first time client, they immediately put their claws out and had very short answers. Been going to Massage Envy Spa since moving from California. Little spoiled in my experiences coming from the West as my former spa (not high end by any stretch) offered tea, chocolates, robes and slippers. Having said that, I was a little bummed that Massage Envy felt more like a salon, had more of a business front, not as relaxed, but it does get the job done. I purchased a 3 month membership to try Massage Envy. I made it clear that once the three month membership expired to move me to month to month as long as I'm happy with the service. They said sure, not a problem. No need to mention anything unless I'm not happy, then it would go month to month. Well, that time rolled around and I was billed for another 3 month membership. It kind of put me in a jam. Rather than paying for just a month, I paid for 3 in advance. My wallet wasn't really prepared for that, but they did get it straightened out. Be aware, pay attention, it could happen. In the beginning, I tried several therapists. Wasn't real please, then I booked with Sheryl. She was one of the best therapists I've ever had.(even in SoCal) My last visit, I booked three months with Sheryl and got a call that she had left. I was about ready to cancel but thought I'd give them another shot with a couple new therapists over the next few months. More to come. In a nutshell, messages are decent for the most part, billing issues have happened on several occasions, ok service, you get what you pay for, add-on's such as foot scrubs, essential oils (again, my previous spa just provided this) are available. Second time to this location. I live in Melbourne and just had a massage a week ago at my home store in Viera..my massage therapist today couldn't even tell I recently had a massage and I couldn't agree more. Tara was a bit abrupt at first..but did warn me she does deep tissue so I braced for it because I knew I needed it and she was the best massage therapist I've ever had. I was truly impressed by the level of attention that she placed on listening to my experience and providing a solution/resolution. She provided me with a list of ingredients to assist with any allergy concerns and facilitated another visit to allow for a second impression. Upon entry, I immediately noticed a change in ambiance, the staff was professional, courteous, and a serene spa feel. Both my mother and myself got massages and had wonderful experiences with very professional, kind, and knowledgeable therapists. I left feeling relaxed and happy. During the service, I didn't feel rushed and the esthetician (Cindy) was excellent, very thorough and accomodating. I initially started my membership in New Jersey but when I found this Massage Envy so close to home here in Florida, I had to give it a shot! I hate starting all over again with the massage therapists but Jenn is a GODSEND! I like my deep tissue massages set to "borderline torture!" And Jenn always makes sure I leave there with the biggest smile on my face! She is AMAZING! I had a massage at Massage Envy based on a recommendation. The massage was OK, but nothing spectacular. Definitely not esoteric like you find in a salon with Asian influence. I recommend corporate management visit salon with Asian therapists for a total experience, not just a massage. Six Senses spas are the best! read more

I was very excited to try Massage envy because of the hours and being close to home. What a disappointment. First I walk in and sit down to listen to all the employees gossip and discuss how they want to hire one girl because all the other people that applied are old. Then when I get taken back for my massage by Debra we go over my pain areas and I let her know my shoulders and lower back have been bothering me due to job and carrying around my 2 yr old. She then tells me to get completely naked and lay on the table.(every time I've gotten a massage they tell you to undress to your comfort level) She is chewing/smacking gum the entire time and while she was massaging me I kept getting scratched so I brought it to her attention that she was hurting me. She then told me it was her dead skin on her fingers that she usually files down and begins to ask me what she should do about her dead skin..she even tells me she will show me her dead skin after the massage! It seemed she was rushed because I only got half a massage she never did my lower back,hips, or legs I woke up to being in more pain then when I started and I have scratch marks on me from her dead skin. I did get half off option or massage for free with new therapist and i chose to take half off..wouldn't even go back for a free massage! read more
