The therapists i have been to at this location are responsive to my concerns and needs. They all know what they are doing.

I have found this is one of the better ME locations/chains in the Denver Metro Area. The front desk is hit or miss, do not expect any decent service, communication, or following through. Once I adapted the low expectations of the front desk staff, I am able to say the therapists are fantastic at this location. It is rare to find your favorite massage and esthetician at the same location who also do not over sell you in products. I know from experience, this location had a severe change of staff and it is getting/has gotten better since COVID. Their new store manager seems to be great and their staff like her. I feel comfortable under her leadership to rely on the staff to follow through with any paperwork or appointment requests. read more

BEWARE! Signing up to this establishment you'll be ignored, no phones are ever answered, appointments are NEVER available, and when it comes time to CANCEL - goodluck! I spent 24 days, around 50 phone calls which you can see photo attached, 3 in store visits and 11 emails just to get a cancellation processed. I stood in store sent a signed cancellation form 3 times only for staff to laugh and say they still haven't gotten it. Sent from two separate emails. Needless to say I've never felt more relief breaking my membership. This place should be shut down. Management, Hire better staff. And check in with your clientele from time to time so you can hear how terrible of a spa experience they are all having. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Once again after driving 30 minutes for my scheduled 1:00 appt I arrived at 12:50 and I'm told they cancelled my appt. Girl at the desk said she called me this morning to let me know they were cancelling. Checking my phone (the only phone number they have for me) I showed her there was no call. They had called yesterday and ask me call IF I could move my appt from 1pm to 10am. I had something else scheduled for the morning so I didn't call back as I could not accommodate the request to change to 10am. This is the 3rd time in the last several months that I have arrived and been told they cancelled and called me. NEVER got those calls, but get an email after leaving the location saying they cancelled. Today, as I was getting in my car to leave, I got that email - timestamped 12:59pm saying they cancelled my 1:00 pm appt. As others have said, they never answer the phones and seldom have appts available. DO NOT waste your time or money with this location. Phone calls are never answered, there's never any appointments available & putting your account on a freeze so that you can catch up with your appointments while still being charged $20/month is completely frustrating!!! I have had so many problems with Massage Envy over the 5 years that I have been going to them.... I keep trying, keep giving them the benefit of the doubt and boom they just keep getting worse and worse. This time around here is what happened and why I am writing this review.... I had been sick for about 5 days. Yesterday, I was feeling so much better and so I was planning to go to my facial today until I woke up with feeling awful again. I called to cancel this morning and was told I would get charged half a credit. I said what because I am trying to not get anyone sick? She said yes you didn't feel good and knew it and didn't cancel so you will be charged. I told her fine I will come in. I was trying to be polite and not get anyone sick, but I will also not be charged for this. She then went on to tell me that because of the world we live in, I will not be allowed to come in because I am sick. HOW IS THIS EVEN FAIR? I am being charged and not allowed to come in? How can they have their pie and eat it too. How can you tell me I am not allowed to come in, but can charge me? YESTERDAY I FELT FINE AND THOUGHT THIS WAS OVER WITH.... TODAY I WOKE UP NOT FEELING GOOD AGAIN..... PEOPLE DO GET SICK OTHER THEN COVID..... COME ON NOW. I have so many credits I need to use before I can cancel my account (couldn't go during COVID and still was getting charged every month mind you. No they don't even let you put your account on hold when THEY SHUT DOWN) and I don't even want to because of how this company treats people. I have been a member of Massage Envy for a long time (7+ years). Most of the massage therapist are adequate. The branch that I was going to abruptly closed. I found out about it because all of my massages were canceled and I had to call the store to find out what was happening. That's another story. This is a corporation that does not give a rats ass about its customers. I am trying to use up my credits, but I cannot use them at any other massage envy unless I call corporate. Their policies are there to make money. Not to help people feel better. This is not the first time I've had issues with membership at Massage Envy. This place is basically a shady pyramid scheme. You really need to make sure you read the fine print with these guys. I mistakenly signed up for a membership in March/April. Got laid off shortly after due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. I've been barely getting by since. Apparently, you can't cancel the membership, they charge monthly and they will desperately keep trying to charge your card until the payment goes through. I'm paying 75$ in overdraft fees now because of it. They charge about 65$ a month and it has been the least of my priorities since I was laid off. For the past few months I guess they kept trying to charge my card but I haven't had any money so the charges never went through. Last week I finally had about 200$ in my account and they took it upon themselves to randomly charge my card 195$ for the past few months I didn't pay, on top of other pending transactions I had at the time. I haven't even been to a message envy since April. They refuse to cancel my membership, refused to give me a full refund. There are no customer support numbers to call. (The store manager?) Brittney assured me there is no way out of my membership. I'm tied to this place for the next year. I don't plan on ever going back to use any of their services. Since I'm writing this review I definitely don't want to return as it would be really awkward and uncomfortable. They offered to give me a partial refund and at this point I'm at their mercy because I'll take what I can get. This put me in an horrible financial situation. But hey, at least I can get a facial and a massage. Had I known it was going to be like this I would have not signed up for a membership in the first place. I would recommend going to your local mom and pop shop over this corporatized cutthroat company. On top of it, they replied to my review telling me to visit a link they provided to address the issue. The link was fake and just sends you in circles. There is no customer service number. All you can do is call the store and that in itself is a nightmare and is designed to get you no where as well. They are still throttling money out my account each month especially since COVID happened. I guess desperate times call for desperate measures? I will be posting this review for every payment taken out of my account and for every time the store manager sends me spam texts( which is several times a week) They have time to send out spam texts to all us "suckers" but when it comes down to talking brass tax it's like talking to a brick wall. read more

This is the best place to get facials, chemical peels, and microderms in the Denver area. The Estethicians are very skilled, kind, and create a relaxing, enjoyable experience. The other thing I really appreciated about this place is they have a wide range of products offered. From very affordable to more high end. They also carry Obagi- which is well known in the medical esthetics world. The facials smell great, did wonders for my skin, and left me feeling relaxed. All for a very affordable rate. I've been a member since June 2020 - very new! It's impossible to schedule because they NEVER answer the phone and never ever return calls, like ever! When you can get ahold of someone they blame their Vonyage phone service, they blame me for leaving a wrong phone number on my message (like, really?!), they blame a system error, they say they called me back but I checked my call log and nothing, so they lie too, not a good look for a business! It's much easier to keep customers happy by doing the actual work instead of lying about it! Then, I try to schedule for both me and my SO at the same time and they come back with "we can get you both in next month" - WHAT, I have to wait a month to get in...isn't this a monthly membership? No times are available, never ever same day appointments. What happened here, they only care about selling memberships and lost sight of the fact that members are their customers? After reading other complaints I can guess the owner Mike will respond that they're so sorry and to contact the manager to discuss. Well, I have, I finally (after 18 messages and promises of calls back from various staff members) received a call from Brittany. And nada, I'm not asking for anything free just a call back when I'd like to make an appointment, seems easy enough to me - this is the nature of your business! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I have had a membership here for 5 years and i can't wait to cancel. I have a specific therapist that allows a few special customers to have 2 hour massages. EVERY time I have scheduled in the last year, I have gotten the "We have to cancel your 2 hour appointment" call, forcing me to remind them I was an exception. THEN my wife decided to cancel her membership. Waited for 2 weeks for a manager to call and NOTHING. Finally went in, got the paperwork and they paused MY account, resulting in me getting charged for a full 2 hour massage. I went in to get it corrected and I'm STILL waiting for my callback from a manager. Just visited Massage Envy at the Thornton location for the first time. The front desk staff greeted me immediately and were very friendly and professional. I booked a facial and couldn't be happier with the results. My skin feels amazing, hydrated and so smooth. My esthetician was Ember Martin, she was on time, took time to address concerns and did a facial tailored for me. The process was extremely relaxing. This is the 2nd time in a long time that I've been back to this Massage Envy. This time was a way better experience. I was told this is one of the busier locations so they are very well-staffed. I had called 2 other ME before being able to book an appointment at this location on a short notice. I tried the Hot Stone Therapy for 1.5 hour. It was the best experience I've had in a long time from any massages I have gotten. It was my first time trying the hot stone even though I've been a member with them for about a year. The lady that gave me the massage was named Angie and if you like medium to hard pressure, she has been one of the best that I've worked with. I have been a member of ME (this location specifically) for OVER 10 years. The last 4-5 years (before Covid was declining, after Covid APPALLING) There are never appointments available online or via their app, and if you call (they don't answer) or go in they MIGHT be able to schedule you for something 1-3 months out. Good luck trying to get in they have only 12/13 therapist on staff. I was there on a Sunday in December 2023 and they had one massage therapist and one person doing facials and had to close by 4 pm because they have no staff. I have 6 friends in the same boat as me with a bank full of paid massage credits (2 years worth if I could get in Monthly - $2,500+) and we can't get in. And yet they are still signing people up. DON'T Waste your money!!! Customer service is disgraceful and management will not help you or provide you with any kind of resolution. They will however threaten to cancel your membership if you assertively, yet calming ask them for a remedy. There is a reason they have an F rating on the BBB and I lost count of how many 1 star reviews on Google. THEY DO NOT CARE! I have been lied several times about policies and now threatened. This company is nothing more than thieves. They take your money and do not have the ability to provide the services they are selling. If you try and cancel you will have 60 days to use your credits. Now how is that possible when you have to wait sometimes 2 months to even get in for ONE service. read more

After 3 years of being a member, I am moving on. It has been so difficult to find therapists that are consistently good here. Courtney has been great for a long time, but she books up 1-2 months in advance. For the money, I feel there are much better options out there. Also, FYI: If you sign up for a membership, you are locked in for one year. You have to give at least 30 days notice if you want to quit and they have a "Use or Lose" policy. Meaning: If you have 3 sessions banked, they will disappear, even if you paid for them once you cancel. read more

I have been a client of Massage Envy in Thornton, CO for over a year. While I am not the best at remembering to schedule my monthly massage, when I do go, my experience is always outstanding. This location seems to have a high turnover rate of therapists, but I have currently been working with Maureen. Maureen really listens to me and then concentrates on the problem areas I have identified. As she always gives me a great massage. I end up leaving the location feeling utterly relaxed. Massage Envy is a little pricey (monthly fee of $50, plus tip to therapist), but I do believe the massages are helping me, so the cost is well worth it. read more

We cancelled our memberships with them a year ago. They continued to charge us for one of the memberships. We contacted them twice and each time they requested that we send them the cancellation paperwork because they had "misplaced it." Guess what? They continued to charge us after that too. We are still waiting to get refunded for 3 months of charges. The manager takes several days at a time to respond and claims they are unable to refund the charges immediately that it'll take time. Yet we've been patiently waiting for more than a month. So overall, do not go to any Massage Envy. They cannot be trusted and have many complaints of this same story to the Better Business Bureau. read more

I have been making appt requests online and leaving messages - THEY HAVE NEVER BOTHERED TO GET BACK TO ME. They NEVER answer the phone. I called every 10 minutes the other day for about an hour. I called every afternoon (3-4ish) after work for 2 weeks. As of yesterday I give up! I have been going to arvada west and belmar for years, they are awesome. Polite & friendly and never, ever have they not answered their phone, and they ALWAYS responded to my online appt requests. I have only had terrible experiences at this location. Their management doesn't have any concept of customer service as far as fixing a problem. Do they say sorry if there is a mistake? Sort of, kind of like a petulant teenager being forced to apologize to a sibling. They make zero attempts and correcting mistakes and do everything possible to deflect responsibility. There were four people in the store at the same time yesterday whose appointments had just disappeared and the girls at the desk acted like everyone was just crazy. It is much better to find another massage spot. anything is better than this place. my fiance and I truly gave it a chance. My fiance signed the year contract as a nice gesture for me. We tried multiple therapist, but it was always a hit and miss. Sometimes it was good, other times they didn't listen to what we wanted and were a complete waste of our monthly dues. On top of that, once you signed a year contract, they neglect to tell you you have to physically go in to cancel. Even after your contact is over, they will continue to charge you if you don't go in. So if you sign a contract pray that you remember a year from now to go in and cancel it because they will make sure to not mention a word about it. This is truly the Walmart of spas, so my suggestion is to do a little more research and visit a local spa, they cost about they same and have way better therapist. read more

I had a feeling when I booked my appointment that it was not going to go well when I had to repeat an 8 digit number FIVE times before the girl answering the phone could get it right. I got there 15 minutes early (as required) and filled out a 2 page questionaire (they really need that much info to give me a massage?). Waited about 10 mins and then a MALE therapist came out - I had specifically requested a female!! They said they didn't have a female available but if I wanted to come back in 2 hours I could get a female therapist. I had planned my entire day around my appointment and was so pissed off I just left! Another thing that was annoying is they have a large sign with "suggested" tipping amount of $12-$22 which is 24%-45% on a $49 massage!! They also ask you if you want to tip before you even get the massage - yea I really want to tip for a service I haven't experienced!! read more
