I have gone to massage envy here in St. George multiple times and have never been disappointed with the massage I received, except for once. The problem I have with them at this time is their misrepresentation. My son Recently purchased me a massage and they gave him the Valentine promotion telling him that I would receive two massages for the price he paid. Today I learned that this is not true, because I am no longer a member. To me that is just wrong and very deceitful. It should not matter whether or not I am a member. The gift card was sold to my son who is also not a member. I'm tired of people and their dishonest tactics! I will use my last massage there that it will be my,LAST! read more

Do not use Massage Envy, they use all sorts of predatory techniques to separate you from your money. They charged my bank for things I did not order or fill out paperwork for. They will not return the money and can't produce any paperwork that says I wanted the charges. Have called five times and emailed five times. They just keep telling you they will do something but never do! read more

WARNING!!!! This company is corrupt. I had a 6 month pass. I fell ill with a rare disease and hv been hospitalized and homebound and not able to go anywhere. I canceled my membership after the 6 months and was told I had to come in to sign a cancelation. I told them I wasn't able to do that because of the illness, they said they would email it. I never received it. I have talked to them 6+ times and am always told a manager will call me. They have continued to pull $70 a month for the last 3 months, and REFUSE to cancel my membership. I wasnt able to even use the 6 months I paid for because of illness. RUN, SAVE YOUR MONEY, FIND A MORE ETHICAL COMPANY THAT CARES ABOUT THEIR CLIENTS!!!! read more

So my mom and I booked appointments. We could not both get massages, so she got a facial and I got a massage. I was disappointed with mine. Asked for harder pressure, started out deep and then lightened up. Like my muscles are wound up and tight, I know that one session isn't going to make a huge difference. Then it seemed like the massage ended rather abruptly. Didn't get my arms, hands, head or neck worked on. It seemed like a partial massage. I guess luckily we got it at the $60 price instead of the $90. But then I had left tip and my mom had added extra tip, bad communication on our end. She enjoyed her facial and that's all that mattered. read more

I had a membership with this company for like 8 years I called recently to cancel my membership before the due date. I spoke to a girl who said oh I'll take care of it don't worry about it everything's fine. Well they charged me anyways so I again called and she's like oh well refund your money within a day. Two weeks later still no refund I speak to somebody else and after she keeps going home she acted like she didn't know what the heck she was talking about she says well you have to fill out cancellation papers I was never told I had to fill out cancellation papers and now they're acting like they don't want to refund my money. Moral of the story don't get a membership with this company because when it comes time to quit they will not give you your money back and give you a hard time about quitting read more

I signed up for a membership in August of 2021, I have literally only been in a couple of times since then. Each month they charge me the 60.00 for my membership. After a year it went month to month. I was contacted today about my monthly payment and I was told I could not cancel it until the membership fee for this month was paid. They wont even send the cancelation paperwork until I pay. Was told they will take me to collections. Not an ok way to run things!!!! Now I have a whole bunch of massage sessions that I will likely NEVER use!! I cant believe that a company of this size would be so disgraceful. I will steer away anyone that asks about this place. I didn't even want to give them one star but had to! read more

It saddens me that these guys only have 2 1/2 stars because some people are sour grapes over their cancelation policy. The massage therapists, especially Sammy, are caring and skilled gems in my life. To those sour grapes may I suggest; "In with positivity and light and out with the negativity & those thoughts no longer serving a purpose". read more

The worst experience by far!!! I went to massage envy for the first time on my birthday a couple of months back. I received an hour and a half long massage by a man named Eric. When I left the massage about three hours later I had two dime sized holes on the back of my head, just above my neck. As the days went on they worsened and got infected. They were extremely painful as the muscles beneath became strained to where I couldn't move my head. I called massage envy letting them know of what occurred and the poor hygiene practices. They did not offer me anything nor my money back. I had asked for a discount on a massage at least but the manger said she wasn't sure of she could so that. She said she would return my call. About one week went by and I heard nothing. I began to call daily and at various times of the day. Suddenly everytime I called and after the staff found out who I was "the manager suddenly slipped out." After weeks of this I finally was able to talk to the manager again. I told her all I wanted was a refund at this point. She told me the owner said that wasn't possible but they could give me a free $30 minute massage. I wanted nothing to do with this company after how I was treated for weeks. I asked several times to speak with the owner, but gained no respect on this. Three weeks ago I was told the owner would give me a call. I still have hot heard anything. I would NOT recommend this business, but particularly the bluff street location. The management was extremely disrespectful. Running a business where customer satisfaction is their key selling point, they had nothing of the sorts. All I wanted was my money back! I wish it would let me post my images of my scabs. You do not want this experience! read more

I was visiting St. George for a few days and needed a massage after hiking all over Zion. I called this place after I googled "massage in St George", and I found them on yelp. My experience was on the phone with them only, as they kinda blew it. They took their time to find their calendar while I was on the phone, then put me hold; and then didn't have any good times available. It just seemed a bit chaotic and unprofessional. While I was on hold, I noticed their pricing was different on their yelp page - $10 dollars less. That's not much, but every little bit counts. At first, I thought it was a yelp deal and I asked about the price. The girl on the phone didn't even know what yelp was - let alone a coupon or deal. I mentioned it was THEIR yelp page and SOMEONE in their office had to have set it up to have that detailed information on the yelp page. ( I use yelp A LOT and I know how it works. I have my own yelp page too). She insisted they didn't set it up and that they could not honor the discount - even though it was on their page. She had to put me on hold again to ask her boss if they would honor the prices that they had on yelp. He said no. I hate the word no. I guess they have enough business in this economy to turn down customers who find their posted prices on their page? Needless to say, I went to another massage company, where I wrote a 5 star review because they actually honored their discount price that they had on yelp; and went above and beyond their service to make me happy. And I'm not even that picky usually. I just want to good massage at a good price if the company is advertising it. You can see my 5 star review for the other company on my profile. It's the one I wrote right after this review. I've actually got many friends here in St. George and when I come back to visit St. George, I will go to the other massage company. read more

Nope. Do not go here. They do not know how to make things right with a customer. Getting a good massage therapist is hit and miss and when you cancel your membership but have paid up massages you have to use them within 60 days or they RIP YOU OFF.... and don't tell you when you cancel. Never would go here again. read more

I was a little hesitant to sign up for Massage Envy but I am SO glad I did. It was definitely something that I needed and I can actually afford it. All of the therapists I have tried have been great! Also I have there chemical peel and microderm infusion and my skin looks amazing! This place is run really great! I feel so much better!!! read more

I had an incredible massage from Samantha at the Bluff Street Massage Envy. She listened to me, massaged me the way I asked her to and was really kind. After my massage with Samantha I signed up for a monthly massage. The place was clean, but the massage therapist made all the difference! I would highly recommend Massage Envy on Bluff in St. George. read more

If I could give no stars I would!! Worst customer service. Not helpful at all in helping to solve a problem with the account. After many times patronizing this establishment I will definitely be taking my business elsewhere! It's amazing how businesses like this don't care, nor don't even seem to want to work with customers. No wonder they get such bad reviews on the Better Business Bureau!!! There are much better businesses for massages elsewhere, even the massage schools are way better!!!!! read more

I came here from out-of-town, so I really didn't know what to expect since I knew I wouldn't have any of my regular therapists. I ended up with Jennifer and she was WONDERFUL! She listened to what my needs were and followed through beautifully. She was also a wealth of knowledge about some other health issues that we talked about during my massage. The whole experience with this ME was terrific! My only regret is that they aren't open later on Sat and Sun because I would have come back both nights. read more

I was very impressed with Massage Envy from the time I entered the front door. The lady that greeted me at the front desk was friendly and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. After filling out some paper work, the massage therapist came out to meet me and took me back to the room. One of the things that I loved was laying on the heated massage table. Usually the sheets are colder rather than warm and it was a pleasant surprise. I LOVED IT!! The massage was wonderful and it was an escape from the hectic rigor of life. I will definitely be going back and will recommend it to others. read more

Massages good, but company overall is so deceptive! You can get good massage somewhere else and not have to deal with their dishonest practices. Major class action pending currently. Buyer beware. read more

I have been a member for nearly 4 years and spent thousands of dollars at the Sunset location However, I failed to make a scheduled appointment because of a medical emergency. I even spoke with them from the hospital to explain, but my credit card (which they have on file for the membership) was charged for the missed visit anyway. I called on multiple occasions leaving messages for the manager to call me and she never returned my calls. Beware: it seems they are all about the money even for one of their best customers! read more

The environment was okay, it was relaxing. The masseuse was nice, but I feel she could have been a little more friendly. The oil/lotion she used was nice, but it was cold. When you are trying to relax the cold doesn't do it for me. The sheets were also cold and there was no heated blanket. I guess I have been spoiled with my regular masseuse. I probably won't go back, and I wouldn't recommend to a friend. read more

This is the best massage envy I've ever been to because of the level of therapy I've received from multiple therapists. If I just drop in I can get a good massage anytime. But I always pre-book with either Jennifer or Christine who rock!! read more

Samantha gives the best massages! She's so kind and truly listens to your needs. I always ask for an appointment with her!

I belonged to massage envy 3 or more years. You never get a 60 minute or 90 minute massage. They start 7 minuets late almost always and finish 6 or More early. They have a couple of great therapists Kacei is the best. I decided to cancel my Membership in Dec 2016 I went to the sunset office and Cancelled the membership. Dominique the manager tried to talk me into freezing the membership. I specifically told her no I was Cancelling it and signed the papers. Well 6 Months later I get the charge on my credit card for membership with a phone call of hey you have a two hour credit. I call today and ask what's up. They tell me it was frozen and came off freeze and they charged my card. I explained I cancelled it. Addie tells Me know it was frozen and threw cant refund my card. After talking to her she informs me Dominique is very thorough and would NEVER make mistake. So I'm lying I ask? Well she wouldn't make that mistake. So I pay another membership fee they do nothing and they win. BEWARE of this scam. They have your card number and pull it up when they want read more

If you want a subpar overpriced massage go here. The individual therapists that work here are underpaid and overworked. Often they are worked so hard they get injured and have to leave the industry entirely. The employers only care how many massages a person can do in a row, not about the quality. If you do support this franchise tip generously or better yet support one of the local massage businesses. read more

I have had a membership here since 2008, it started in California. Ive moved several times to Salt Lake then St. George. There has always been a massage envy close by. I have absolutely loved every therapist never had a bad massage. Very professional, lots of fun additions such as aroma, hot towel, muscle treatment. Their skin care treatments are amazing especially the girl at this location, fabulous derma brasion. They are open till 10 pm weekdays and even in Utah they are OPEN SUNDAYS. Ive read the reviews on here and there must be some really high rolling snotty people who posted those reviews. This place is for the average income person who has back or muscle issues and needs therapy two or three times a month. At 40 n hr after your 1 hr at monthly price, who can possibly complain. Also, you are not paying for a college grad trained receptionist youd find employed in a law office, they employ cute fun students to run the counter and book appointments, give em a break this isnt a 40 yr career choice for the counter staff be grateful they are so nice, cute fun and professional. You might have to be on hold for 10 seconds every now and then. Thats because they are so popular and economical. Give your extra $ youd pay somewhere else to the therapist not to the company. Their prices allow you to do this and the therpists treat you very well. read more
