It took me a few years after starting my massage ritual to find Massage Envy. After trying several branches and several therapists I finally landed at the Plainview location. At this point I was fairly knowledgable on massages and knew exactly what I was looking for in a therapist. After trying a few therapist I wasn't receiving the massage I had envisioned, So I asked for the best of the best. Needless to say there was a wait for her, I could no longer call the day of and land a massage (this is always a good sign). I was introduced to Gina about 3 years ago and I have never nor will ever use another therapist again (unless I'm on vacation). I have recommended her to friends and family and would highly recommend her to anyone reading this review. She is very very knowledgeable not only in massage therapy but general health. One of the things that I enjoy most in life is a relaxing massage, and I can't say enough about how wonderful the people and staff at the Plainview Massage Envy are. I recently booked an appointment and thought I would give them a try. I have had many massages throughout the years, and this was by far one of the best I have ever received. My therapist, Heidi, was fantastic. She listened to my concerns and then focused on the areas that needed attention. By the time she finished, I was totally relaxed and rejuvenated. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and nice, and when they asked me if I was interested in membership, I couldn't help but join. This is the best present I could ever give myself, and the price couldn't be better. I started with a gift membership about 6 years ago. I didn't think I would keep it up but figured, I'd give it a try. I was very pleased with my therapist Melissa who unfortunately moved away and left the spa quite a while ago. I then found Gina who I have been going to exclusively. She is always attentive to my needs, never "overdoes it", just right in all aspects. She is well trained, talks just the right amount and makes me feel special and cared for. I have averaged 1-2 massages a month and have no plans of leaving anytime soon. I would recommend Gina for anyone that wants a professional yet friendly approach and she always takes care of any and all pains as well as just making me feel relaxed and special. I've been a member at Massage Envy in Plainview for about three years now, and I can honestly say that Mayuri and Lois are the reason I keep coming back. From day one, they made me feel completely at home. Walking in doesn't feel like walking into a big franchise -- it feels like walking into a place where people actually know you and care. They're incredibly sweet, helpful, and so easy to talk to. Nothing ever feels salesy or pushed; they're just genuinely good people who know the business inside and out and always try to help however they can. This isn't even the closest Massage Envy to my house, but I'll happily drive the extra miles just to be greeted by them. If i could rate zero stars that"s what they would get the front reception desk is clueless and i don"t understand how a company could employ people like this. They just don"t care about anything but their paycheck i was there to get a massage i had a appointment and the computer didn"t have it in it. When i insisted i had an appointment they just said they cant do anything about it Really? they are correct THEY DIDN"T DO ANYTHING AT ALL!!!!!!!! I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager went home. I really enjoy being a member at Massage Envy in Plainview. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. The massage therapists are excellent. Every therapist has their own special techniques and will adjust the pressure as needed. I recommend May, Victoria, Sam, Raphael, Abu, Lydia, Zoran and Rodney for a great massage. I also enjoy receiving facials from the estheticians at this location. I highly recommend Victoria, Yami, Jennifer and June for a relaxing facial. I went in for an 11am Saturday morning appointment. Although the location was busy, Jessica at the front desk was wonderfully warm and welcoming. The atmosphere itself was lovely, very dim and peaceful. Zoran, the therapist, was so professional and really took the time to listen to my concerns. The massage was wonderful and Zoran had some helpful suggestions for how to relieve the tension in my back on a daily basis. Check out was a breeze, too. Lol soo...massage envy froze my mothers account during covid (obviously) and kept her banked facials that she already had paid for in her account. She obviously was not going to go in before being vaccinated given that she has a compromised immune system and a facial involves taking off her mask. They are demanding she pays over $350 to cover the last several months during the pandemic in order to use her banked facials. Horrible way to treat a customer that has been loyal to you for years. We will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I have been going to massage envy for a long time. Gina is my therapist and I couldn't ask for anyone nicer and more competent then her. Having had major back surgery a year ago Gina helps me stay in good shape with her wonderful massage technique. If you want the best see Gina at the Plainview location. Raphael provides a relaxing massage and you can choose the level of pressure. Gabi did a wonderful job w my microdermabrasion.
