The therapists at this location are fantastic. But the customer service does not measure up. I had an appointment booked for today (a Tuesday), and when I got the text reminder yesterday, I realized that I had a conflict. So I responded R to reschedule, which I figured would prompt a call from them to me. When I heard nothing back, I decided to call -- and then realized they are closed on Mondays. (Seems to me that the reminder text should go out *two* days in advance if the office is closed on the day before the appointment.) Anyway, I figured that it would be too late to reschedule the massage since they would not be open until noon on Tuesday, so I canceled my conflicting appointment. But since I had sent the R to reschedule, I figured I should definitely call the massage studio to explain the situation and that I would still be coming for the massage. I left a detailed voice mail message this morning and then drove to the studio. When I arrived, I was told that they had given my appointment away. There are two problems here: 1) I don't understand why they didn't listen to my voicemail message when they opened the studio today; and 2) I don't understand why they didn't call to tell me that they had received my response and they were rescheduling the appointment. In my opinion, there were serious failures in communicating with me. I am not happy, to say the least. read more

Have always had a wonderful experience at Massage Envy so I decided to take my husband for his first massage. Morning of appointment, he had a migraine and was really sick. It was before hours and our appointment was at 10 am. I tried calling and sent an email through contact information that we would need to cancel. That afternoon I saw a charge on my credit card for the missed appointment. The charge was more than I would have paid for the actual massages. I have called and sent numerous emails asking for a explanation of the charges and a possible partial waiver of fee due to illness and the fact we could not give 24 hours notice. Got a birthday facial here. Anastasia did a great job of finding out what issues I was having with my skin. She took time making me feel relaxed. I walked away with my skin looking and feeling beautiful. A good place to go for relaxation and beautiful skin. read more

I am visiting from CA and called for a same day appt. You can't usually get a sane day appt in CA so I was happy. Ben at the front desk was very nice. I had 3 credits so I booked a 90 min facial and a 90 min massage. Ashley was amazing. I loved my facial. Sarah was awesome. I have had lower back problems. She listened and really worked on the areas I needed. She also stretched them out. I feel great today. I highly recommend this place! Nice people and great services! read more

This is the most unprofessional establishment and franchise ever. Firstly their business ours state that that open at 8am. If they open at 8 am why would their phone lines not be answered and the voicemail say that they are closed? I called at 8:16-9 am and no one answered. Finally, a young lady answers after 9am. I make the appt for the next day at 9am. The same day around 5pm I get a call that I have to reschedule or go with the only person available Sam. I said it was fine. The very next day 30 minutes before my set appointment I get told I have to reschedule when I already stated that I couldn't come in any other time that particular day. When I told the young lady that.. she hung up on me! I was already driving to this place so I could be early like they asked.. but I guess they don't care about my business. read more

My husband and I have been members of Massage Envy since 2009. We move around a lot and the flexibility of so many Massage Envy locations across the U.S. is a real benefit to us. Recently relocating to PA, this Massage Envy is one of two locations closest to us. We prefer this Hagerstown location to the other location for two primary reasons...the other location charges an upcharge of $10 per massage because we are not paying the prevailing member rates and we've found the massage therapists to be awesome in Hagerstown. All of the staff at this location treat us well. We love being greeted by Ben, the General Manager, as we knew him from a Massage Envy location we frequented in VA. We've found two fabulous deep tissue massage therapists at this Hagerstown location. The location always has appointments available that work with our schedule. I have been a member of massage envy for over 7 years, I signed up in Germantown and had ok service. Recently we asked to transfer our membership to the Hagerstown location, after a lot of back and forth they agreed to transfer my family to the Hagerstown location.
