After a rough experience elsewhere, they took their time to understand my apprehension and wanted me to be as comfortable as possible, and also give me the best possible treatment for my acne scars; went above and beyond for me! I had three Pixel 8 treatments and an intense treatment of CO2. They provided me with follow up skincare, in depth instructions, follow up calls, and two follow up appointments! Every step of the way they took photos to see my changes! I was thankful for this thoroughness I didn't receive at the last office I worked with. My skin looks amazing! No more 11 lines, and my acne scars have improved! I really love their genuine attitude to help me and I'm sure others! Go make your appointment!

The check in process is via an iPad and easy to navigate instead of filling out paperwork with pen and paper. Dr Mitchell examined me for moles and cut off a skin tag near my eye. I was nervous when he told me he would inject lidocaine near my eye socket but he assured me it would be fine and much better with the lidocaine especially if the removed skin tag bled and I needed it cauterized. He quickly injected, cut it off and cauterized it with minimal to no pain. He also removed a mole on my back to be tested and that was also quick and painless after lidocaine. He also answered questions and did a thorough exam and definitely cares about patients skin related concerns. Highly recommend this practice.

What a great thoughtful salon! I booked an appointment with Bethanie for a cut and style. My hair…read morewas stringy, and limp from not having a good cut for a while. I had some pictures of haircuts and styles that I showed Bethanie. She was very interested in my ideas and needs, and spent time making sure she understood what I wanted. After receiving a lovely shampoo, scalp, and hand massage, we went to her chair for the cut and style. She consulted with me throughout the cut. When we got to blow drying and styling, she provided good advice and methods on how to achieve optimum results for volume and style. I was so pleased with the end result! It was exactly what I wanted and needed. She is a wonderful stylist! I booked another appointment for a trim, and will be following up with her for highlights in the future. I totally recommend Sagittarius and Bethanie for any salon services you may need.

She asked what concerns I may have and gave me great advice on products to try, water temp, number of days of wash etc. very informative, she made me feel at ease in asking her anything I'm curious about. Definitely coming back for a color service with her. Prices here are sort of steep compared to other salons in the area - prices can be comparable to DC prices, however, the price match the skills so I'm not mad.

Were you aware that Center for Dermatology is totally paperless? Well I didn't know this before,…read morebut now I do. I received a bill for $32 from a collection agency. I never received a paper bill from Center for Dermatology. I spoke with their billing department about the collections. Their procedure is to show the bill on your "portal". If no response they give you a call 24 hours prior to sending to collections. In my case my husband advised them to call my number because I take care of all medical bills. I did not receive a call or voicemail (like they said they left me). I went directly to my phones deleted voicemails and there are none from Center for Dermatology. In my opinion and for the courtesy of their clients, in the least they should SEND a notice through the mail prior to sending to collections. I'm all for paperless and totally understand that but NOT when they are getting ready to send a bill to collections. I always think about the older generation who does not understand portals etc. I want to add that I love Dawn Sharer. I've been a client of hers for more than 10 years and started with her at Frederick Dermatology. So i'm not complaining about the level of care but if a physicians office cares so little about their client base, that they would not take the time to send a bill before sending to collections, I no longer wish to be one of their clients. I am simply saying that their billing procedure needs to be revised.
