First time going to Retro Fitness, and I was expecting the usual hassle with overpriced day passes…read morelike other gyms. Since I'm only here for the week, I didn't want to get tied down to a long contract. But when I walked in, I was joyfully greeted by two employees, Justin and Jeralde (I believe that was his name). Justin explained everything clearly and helped me get a 3-day pass with no pressure at all. If I lived in the area, I'd definitely get a membership here! The gym is very clean, well-maintained, and has a great atmosphere.

Following a recent flood, this gym was in a state where everything needed to be updated due to mold…read moresmells and heavy dust, so I placed my membership on hold. When I recently visited(July), the mold smell had decreased, but the floors still hadn't been repaired, causing dust to fly everywhere. Despite a long time passing, management only expected understanding from its members instead of fixing the issues, which led me to cancel my membership. However, I found out I had already been charged for June and July without even realizing it. I exchanged emails with the Assistant Manager regarding this issue, but she refused to provide a refund for those months, strictly citing their policy. I told her I understand their stance, but in fairness, I would be leaving a review about this experience. I have been a member here for over 5 years, but in the end, it is clear that they do not care about their members' health or safety. Horrible facility management and completely unfair billing. Avoid this place.

Some of the nicest people work at Retro Fitness on polity dr…read more Andrew ,Sam, Santos are very friendly and knowledgeable about all the equipment. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!!!!!!

DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES -- BE CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING ANY AGREEMENT…read more After years of being a loyal member with no issues, I was suddenly charged an additional $19.50 fee with no notice or explanation. When I asked about it, I was told it was a "glitch in the system" that overcharges customers -- but that I'd need to talk to the manager to resolve it. To prevent future problems, I even put a new card on file. Before following up, I contacted my bank (Chase), and they confirmed there was no reason my recurring payment -- successfully processed more than 28 times -- should have declined. When I spoke with the manager (Andrew), he gave multiple conflicting explanations: first a system glitch, then a bank issue, then a declined card, and finally said he had no control because billing is through ABC Financial. When I asked how the issue would be fixed, I received no clear answer or solution. Instead, the manager became aggressive and ended the conversation by yelling: "GET THE F*** OUT, IT'S TOO EARLY FOR YOUR BULL****." Immediately, I asked again to speak with the owner or anyone capable of addressing the situation. I even reached out through social media. After one month, radio silence. Today, I received another notice: my card supposedly "did not go through," and there is no a $9.50 late fee and another $19.50 charge added on top. I'm genuinely disappointed. If the business needs to raise prices, be honest about it -- don't hide behind deceptive billing practices or "system glitches." I enjoyed being a member, but I can't support a company that refuses accountability, overcharges loyal customers, and treats them disrespectfully.

It felt very elevated and luxurious without being overly flashy. The drinks were really good, but the small bites were honestly one of my favorite parts. The staff was so kind and kept coming around with trays of different bites. I tried the 3 cheese mini panini with truffle and WOW. I could've eaten 20 trays of those They were so good! We didn't get to see a ton of the club since it's a private members-only space, but the areas we did see were beautiful and really well designed. The terrace was such a gorgeous NYC setting and definitely made the experience feel special. I'd love to come back and experience more of CORE: someday!

Went to visit this elite club as a member from a reciprocal club. It is definitely very private…read more There were more people working than members present. It looked like the elite Manhattan 5th Ave crowd would frequent this with its privacy. The club has an initiation fee of 10k from what I hear. Honestly, I felt like their service to reciprocal members was distasteful. Several times staff were like who are you in an accusatory manner when we had permission to be there. It left a really bad taste in my mouth. We walked into this building and the lady up front pressed the button to go up to the top of the building. The place has 2 restaurants. The top restaurant has an amazing view of the city from the terrace. I would have loved to sit out there and eat if it wasn't winter and wasn't closed. The bottom restaurant offered a pretty overpriced breakfast. I paid 20 bucks for toast and a coffee (which is insane). The toast did have an awesome strawberry jam. The place also has a nice lounge area, movie theater, and a hair studio. The place has a gym that has a great view of New York. The place doesn't offer a lot of gym equipment, however. There is also a meditation room and bathroom that has a sauna.
