I was desperate, exhausted, in chronic severe stomach cramping pain, and running to the bathroom 100 times a day and several times throughout the night and I was afraid to eat knowing that after my meal more stomach cramping would come. Doctors told me I would have this disease my entire life and would be on steroids and pain relievers my entire life to cope with this disease. At the time, I came into to office, desperate for some help with my illness. What I didn't know was that I didn't have to have this disease for the rest of my life. I learned that my body has the ability to heal from within to not only overcome the disease at its root cause to make sure I overcame it for good, but also could be even more vibrant and healthy then I ever could imagine---even more healthy than before I came down with the Crohn's disease.
