Let me start by saying in planning my wedding, music was not the most important thing on my list…read more I mean, my thoughts ran something along the lines of: "Can't we just hook up my ipod/iphone and press play and call it a day? How hard is that, right?" Wrong. I was completely blown away by the way Social Chemistry does things. Carlos really took the time to explain/educate me from the perspective of his world, what a difference cheapening the whole DJ experience would mean. A big plus is their flexible and easy-to-use website once you book with them (so you can get all the details to them for all the neurotics out there like myself). Everyone at Social Chemistry was super responsive (and by responsive I mean I actually got a human who picked up the phone when I called right away and there was a time difference!), courteous, professional, friendly, and they aim to make sure you and your guests have an amazing experience. My DJ (Pierre) even touched base with me multiple times before the wedding (let me say this was an impossible task given both our crazy schedules and the time difference); he was keen to make sure every piece of music and transition piece chosen was going to work and at the correct time, even asking what his family and my family enjoyed listening to most. What stands out most day of is this: In the middle of our slideshow, the music accompanying the slideshow just stopped playing from my laptop. You should've seen my face (because this was perhaps my biggest baby of the whole wedding) - deer in headlights bordering evil demon baby spawn. Carlos and Pierre were quick to get music playing, fix the hiccup, and transition on. No loud-obnoxious DJ's here who can't play a tune to save them (unless that's what you want because that's not what I wanted for my wedding). Think class. I will def have to use them again. You would be crazy not to call them!

The food was good and they had a really big selection of wine. Unfortunately our first few picks for bottles were already sold out but the server I think his name was Dylan was very accommodating. He provided excellent service and anticipated what we might need before we knew it. That kind of service definitely elevated the experience and we will definitely be coming back. The wine we had was pretty good and we finished the bottle. We made it in time for brunch and the food was tasty. My wife really enjoyed the baked bree. Great place for a date or to just relax and enjoy good wine and great service.

It's basically a wine gastropub with New American Cuisine that has worldwide influences. Inside is pleasantly furnished with plenty of wine bottles on multi level display shelves to set a wine lounge atmosphere. I sat at the bar for informal noshing. I'm a sucker for "Buffalo" burgers which are actually Bison. The Tombstone sliders are meaty, moist, lean with gooey, melted, apple wood smoked cheddar cheese, soft, caramelized, sweet onion, slice of roasted tomato & Dijon mustard Aïoli (ah ee oh lee). Arrugula leaves mentioned in the menu was missing in action. Very tasty and 2 for $15 in our inflationary times of 2025. Got a glass of house red wine that went well with the Bison sliders. Couldn't eat more than that since I ate the humongous Jackfruit Burrito at Modern Tearoom earlier for late lunch. The Complexity menu has a fairly tight menu featuring typical New American hits: Charcuterie, Fromagerie, 10 apps, 12 mains, 10 sides for the mains. Bar seating afforded me a pleasant conversation with an older gentleman who was into formula one racing cars. Staff service is competent, friendly enough & functional, not particularly punctuated by small town charm. 4- stars
