These are probably the best courts to play at in North county San Diego…read more This place offers luxury courts with general admission pricing. I have played here a few times and each time the experience has gotten better and better. Everything from the lights, The court surface, and the viewing deck are top notch. You can tell that no detail has been spared in making these courts. The lights have a fast refresh rate, and basically make it as bright as day when you are playing at night. The court area is very large, and honestly it used to be a little annoying to chase down all the balls, but the owner recently set up little blockers which have cut down the ball chasing time immensely. The owner is a super cool guy and a veteran. So he is very military friendly. He's also a Selkirk rep, so hit him up for everything selkirk There's also adequate parking and I have seen up to 20 cars parked in the dirt lot next to the courts no problem. I've heard the owner is in the process of putting in an additional court, and when that happens I can't think of a better place to hold an 8 person round robin or mini tournament! Rates go for $20 an hour for court rentals and $40 an hour for private drilling/lessons. Hard to beat that!

The venue is top notch, but even better than that, Jimmy is so encouraging and knowledgeable. I'd never played before stepping foot on The Bill in March...now I can't go a week without playing there! It's fun, you'll learn a ton from Jimmy, and make some new friends. I can't thank Jimmy enough for opening his court to friends and neighbors, and being the best instructor ever!

There were 4 basketball teams created this latest season. I just found out that the silver team,…read morewhich was made up of kids who were consistently older and bigger than 95% of the players on the other teams, was created by recruiting 8th graders from a local school's players. And they got approved to go forward with that. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!??? Who would approve such a thing?!! No surprise that they severely beat the other 3 teams for every game that they played. There was really no point in holding the games that they were in since the outcome was so obvious from the start. Why is that every season that my son has been involved in this league, there's always one team that is ridiculously better than the other teams due to their size and age??? That ISN'T fair and it doesn't make for a competitive circumstance! This ISN'T rocket science. First of all, you don't allow such garbage to take place with players being recruited and all on the same team as happened this season! Also, on the registration form, you ask for a player's age and height. You also put--possibly in larger red font at the very start and the very end of the registration form--that if you are not honest about listing your age and/or height, you can be either disqualified at the start of the practice sessions or moved around. Additionally it should be stated that teams can be restructured in the first couple of weeks of practices or after the first game. Then someone should take a look at the teams in the first 2 weeks of practices and/or after the first game and determine whether there is any team that is completely lopsided in their age and/or size compared to the other teams. If there is such a situation, players should be moved around so that there's more parity. Another option is to announce that if you didn't show up to the tryouts, you have to attend a mandatory meeting (which will take place before any practices start up) if you actually want to play in any games during the upcoming season. If you don't show up, you don't get to be on a team--this isn't expecting much AT ALL! At this meeting, players' sizes and heights can be viewed and they can be assigned to various teams. If you don't take any measures to prevent such an unfair situation and thereby allow for such an inequity/imbalance to remain, NO ONE on the other teams or the family members of those teams' players are going to enjoy playing/watching games against such a powerhouse team, and there's absolutely NO point in holding games involving such a team--again, there will be no question that they will VERY strongly dominate the other teams and the outcome will never be in question.

If I could give this organization 0 stars I would! I signed my kids up for their spring soccer…read moreprogram and during the sign up we were told the days and times practice/game is held. A week before their first practice I received a text at 10 pm from one of my kids coach saying "sorry for the late notice we have practice tomorrow at 6 pm" mind you Linda "the 18 year old coach" text that. So we went to the practice, we looked everywhere for Linda didn't see her finally the person we were taking to the whole time is LINDA! After the practice, they didn't hand out the scheduled games as we were told we would received. She had no idea what was going on. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. So as to my sons coach, we also received a late text from him, saying there's practice we attended but he had 25 toddlers and school aged kids he didn't know how to handle all of them at ones. It was complete waste of time. They used luggage as goalies for practice. So the following week we were getting ready for the practice and we received a text saying "something came up practice cancelled" 45 minutes BEFORE the practice. This organization site it very unprofessional and they are all running around without their heads! Including the "director" who doesn't even speak ENGLISH! Save yourself sometime and pay a little more to get better service.
