    Birthday dessert

Did a reservation on OpenTable. We ate at the hibachi table. It was fun to watch the chef prepare the meal as he incorporated lots of laughs. Masa Sake has suits of armor and a koi fish pond at the entry to give it more authentic vibes. Masa Grill can be a fun date, or family night. It is also popular for birthdays as we celebrated one at our table. They had a drum and had guest play small instruments while singing Happy birthday. Overall, the hibachi was cooked as ordered and tasted great. Everyone had a good evening and experience at Masa Grill.

Best Hibachi Ever! I love this place, food is always wonderful! Service is impeccable, and ambiance is perfect! Don't miss this one!

Portions were great and service was excellent. I really enjoy the experience and the environment. The mock drinks they had were also great so definitely recommend. Would like to see a lot more ease on custom ordering.

The ambiance is 10/10. I like the vibe and how spacious this place is. The seatings are far apart from each other. The staffs are nice. They gave me a homemade chopstick for kid too. Food is beyond expect for us. Our Ikura is yummy. The salmon sashimi is good too. The crispy of tempura is great, only which the dipping sauce would be more authentic but still taste good.

Really great spot, staff was always nice. We were seated in the tables area, not at the hibachi grill. The decor was mainly red, with black and white paper lanterns. Also there was a coy pond with a couple fish swimming around. Drinks were refilled quickly, and for their not many people dining it, it took time for wait staff to come near to check on our table. We came for happy hour and their was a special menu. Specials on sushi and certain cocktails. I got the hibachi chicken and it was a great proportion size. Easily two people could share it. The soup and salad were alright. The salad had way too much dressing on it. The price for every ordered was reasonable and I left full. I had leftovers to take home.

Walking in you can choose from the hibachi table or regular table. We chose a regular table. The ambiance was a little dark but a family establishment or a nice date night outing. Our waiter provided great service with some of the question we had. The food was beautiful and delicious. My boyfriend loved the fried rice, he kept talking about it. My son couldn't stop eating it either. My sushi was fresh and very good.

Masa is located in the heart of Castleton with of free parking. Inside, there is plenty of seating and beautiful ambiance. My group did the hibachi, and our chef was amazing! I ordered the king salmon hibachi which comes with salad and soup. Everything was flavorful! I will definitely return.

Drop in for a lunch when we saw the sign from the road. If a very elegant place, painstakingly decorated with Japanese accents and objects. The waitress is very fast and attentive. This place is built for habachi grills but we only wanted a light lunch, so we ordered the chefs combo love boat. It an impressive boat of selected sushi and sashimi. Fun and tasty. A very good meal.

First of all I must say the ambiance was very nice. I love the decor and lighting. I was excited to come here as there was a lot of hype surrounding this place especially the happy hour. Came here with my sisters and we were excited at first but then it slowly kind of went down hill. First off our server was fine but then I guess they had shift change and he left and we had other people. So that was a bit confusing. We didn't have enough place settings. Only 1 for 3 of us. That one had a dirty napkin. *attention to detail* had to ask twice for enough chopsticks for us. Ordered the Kani salad which came with Masago, which was not listed on the menu. It was fine. The crab Rangoon was fine but the sauce was very watered down. My fav was the fantasy island of the specialty plates. That was very good n unique. The combo rice was good but needed more flavor/spice. It always amazes me when Asian restaurants don't have a chili garlic sauce as a condiment. I asked for some spice and they said they only have Sriracha. It was a good portion size and lots of meat and veggies. Oh and the California roll also came with Masago. This was different and not mentioned. It seems they put Masago on a lot of things that say cooked. Had to ask for none. Don't think we'll be back but it was nice to go once. That's the only way to know.

Food was quick to Land On the table but the chef was a little too heavy handed on the salt this go round. I asked for teriyaki instead of yum yum sauce and it never made it to the table. Asked for a clean fork as ALL forks at the table were filthy and never got one so asked for plastic forks and it took too long so had to ask a different server for plastic forks that were less than 20 steps from our table. Service started out great and then our server disappeared after the food arrived. The drink refills came after we were done eating and she didn't stand long enough at table side to get our to-go containers request. One of the members at the table asked her where she's been and she said sorry I've been at other tables. So disappointing.

We ate here two weekends in a row. Both occasions were to celebrate birthdays. This place has a welcoming, well decorated atmosphere. The staff showed great hospitality to our party of 30+ people. Each time we visited the food was cooked to perfection and portions will definitely fill you up. They were even accommodating to our younger children as well. From the food to the drinks the prices are very reasonable for the quality too ! We will definitely be returning again for sure!

Love their hibachi and sushi. They have a good happy hour until 6 during the week. It's always quiet and relaxing.

Came here for a kid's birthday - party of five! We were seated right away, but we got there before the dinner rush. We ordered dumplings, sushi and hibachi and everyone enjoyed the food. Our hibachi grill master, as I'll call him, was amazing. He was very attentive, funny and put on a great show. The food was delicious and he was engaging with/joking with the kids. All in all it was a great experience. Our server was also really attentive and made sure to check in to see if anyone needed anything else. They came out and sang happy birthday and provided a "cake" with a candle. The cake set up was an orange and then pineapple like boat. I love it. Fruit is always a hit! I got the rainbow roll (no picture - ate it too fast) and then the shrimp hibachi. Everything was fresh and really good. Plus I took home leftovers - the hibachi portions can easily be split if you aren't a fan of leftovers. I will certainly be back!!!

Do you have to sit at a table with strangers or is there booth seating available?

Around the hibachi table if you don’t have a party of 10, you will be seated with strangers. However, there is booth and table seating available if you prefer to dine only with your guests.

The onion volcano, the flying shrimp, the chef doing things with spatulas that would make even a Jedi Master stop and pay attention. We know the show, we love the show, and we keep returning to this particular corner of the galaxy for it. This visit was different. It was a Thursday afternoon and none of us felt like waiting for a full hibachi table to assemble, because sometimes you want the food without the diplomatic negotiations of coordinating with strangers who are also hungry. We made the tactical decision to retreat to the regular dining area, which turned out to be one of the smarter strategic calls this family has made in recent memory. We each ordered hibachi dinner combos from the non-hibachi side of the menu. Steak and salmon, steak and chicken, and steak and shrimp, all arriving with miso soup and a Cobb salad with thousand island dressing that handled its supporting role with quiet dignity. The food came out tasting exactly like anything produced during the full tableside performance, which tells you everything you need to know about what that kitchen is actually capable of when nobody is watching. The show is entertaining, but the cooking doesn't need the theatrics to land. The Force is clearly present on both sides of the restaurant. Here is the honest Imperial assessment of Tomo. By strict critical standards this is probably a 3.5 star establishment. The hibachi script is familiar across the sector, the setting won't make you transmit coordinates to your friends, and you already know what you're getting before you walk through the door. But consistent, reliable, satisfying execution every single visit is a superpower that plenty of flashier restaurants in this galaxy cannot claim. We left full, happy, and already plotting the next mission. Five stars for a 3.5 star restaurant that uses the Force wisely and never lets you down.

My steak ended up only being 5 oz. - small and healthier yet meal was filling. Chef Ronaldo was very entertaining - most I had at a visit. The first waitress had trouble organizing the three different party guests' order. My transaction was not completely align with my Friends with Benefits account. My soup was not in my takeout bag so I asked just to eat another there so no spill. This visit ended with a surprise, future $20 off coupon in the shape of an egg. Because I love their daily lunch menu and their special offer, I decided to return for Easter, the following day. I finally bought a gift card with a bonus $10 for limited time use as I was having trouble using my credit card on their front keypad. My credit card company suggested using another keypad which worked. Oh, on holidays, they apparently have a different menu this time in the shape of an egg. Duck theme! How fitting for the occasion! I have been wanting wontons and oh, they had it with duck. My favorites! With interesting chili pineapple sauce. Wow. Had to try the 3 wontons for $16.50. Appetizer was made on the other side of the restaurant and bought to my hibachi table. It was unique with more ingredients like chives. The cheese might have overpowered the duck cubes. Glad I tried them. This chef was only entertaining with the train of onion. Service was not good with only one glass of water. I had to ask about the egg coupon as the hostess seemed very hesitate to pass out "upon my goodbye." Five stars for the food. Four stars for the service.

But this singular power is strong enough to cause me to stop in from time to time. So you have to ask yourself... what kind of sushi eater are you? If you or anyone in your party is a sushi aficionado (read: sushi snob) then Watami is not for you. The food is good, and the Godzilla roll is probably one of the best cooked sushi rolls I've ever had. So the food, itself, is appetizing and worth a visit. But if you are looking for an elegant evening of dining, a trendy sushi bar, or even just decent service... keep looking. Watami is not for you. On the other hand, if you simply want to eat an ungodly amount of udon noodles, vegetable tempura, sashimi, and sushi rolls with no shame, that's where Watami shines. Their super power? All you can eat sushi. A tablet is stationed at each table with the menu, and you can order until your little heart (and stomach) is content. I ate so much fish on Saturday night, they probably should have tested me for mercury poisoning. I miss the days when they simply had a laminated menu and you made marks with a dry erase marker. This meant your server was visiting your table frequently. Now that the menu is on a tablet, they only need to bring you the food. However, drinks aren't on the tablet. My friend couldn't order a glass of plum wine until our meal was almost complete. Pro tip: if you go in a large group like I did the other night, I would suggest clicking the "send" button at the top after each order. We passed around the tablet and everything came out on 1-2 large platters. If you know everyone in your party, it makes for a fun family style meal. But if you are with new friends or order something specific, I would place your order, first, and then pass the tablet.
