They are the worst. Unorganized. Shuffling clients in like cattle just to take your money. Don't think because they speak Arabic, Persian and Spanish that this will help your case. Fact is, they speak English always. They will rush you through your meetings like cattle especially if you have already signed a contract with them for their services and have paid them. The attorney I started out with during the year and a half I was with MAS law firm changed 5 times. Initially I met the first attorney only to have future meetings set up with his paralegal. I never again saw the first attorney. After that I was introduced to another attorney only to have her pass my files to a paralegal. Finally in the end I was with another attorney. She spoke quickly and didn't rehearse possible questions for my USCIS interview. She showed up late for my USCIS interview. Normally in the MAS office she wore business suits & heels but during my appointment at USCIS she showed up in multicolored cotton tights, blouse, wore flats and not a stitch of makeup. She looked like a paralegal. Initially she told me she had contacts at the USCIS office. Let me tell you, that makes no difference whatsoever. She didn't even know the officer who was conducting my interview. The fact that she spoke fluent Arabic didn't even come in handy. I asked her to translate a few of the legal words I was being asked about but she wasn't able to because she didn't know the translation. This attorney's name was Rhiannon Kelso. Find an immigration lawyer in Dallas versus Richardson. The owner of MAS is a smooth talker. He uses his charisma to reel in clients. If I could give this place negative stars I would... this place is a joke including the "lawyers" and all of their shady employees who know people are being screwed over. It is soo messed up people will do this pretend they care about you and your case just to take all of your money. My parents hired this people a year ago after wrecking with an 18-wheeler and their car getting totaled. They had no money to buy a new car not to Get it replaced, a member of their church lended them a car to borrow until they could get back in their feet. These people did not care my parents were left with no car and no money. It's been a whole year since the accident and still no word heard from the "lawyer" it's ridiculous. This is a horrible law firm. I hired them to handle my accident case that caused intense damage to my back. They never called to check up on me. I always had to call them. They treat me like I was nothing. Once the contract is signed stating that they will get their fee regardless, that's exactly what happened to me. The attorney representing me at mediation & the mediator discouraged me from pursuing this case further. He was disengaged. Even satan knows God's word. Also, they apparently knew the opposing counsel well & proceeded to say he was a Christian. I walked away with nothing but lifetime injury & they got more than they deserved or worked for. This law firm is absolutely horrible! I was rear ended over a year ago and was referred to MAS Law Firm by a different lawyer and this has been the worst law firm and worst experience I've ever encountered. They make zero efforts to keep you informed on the status of your case and when I call, I get fed the same garbage time and time again. The case worker/assistant or whatever the title is for the people that are actually handling the case have all been completely incompetent and have had no issues with lying to me each time that I've called. I've had about 5 or 6 different handlers at MAS Law Firm assigned to my case and when I express my frustration with the handling and lack of progress with my case, they all have assured me that they'll do a better job of communicating with me then they issue a fake apology but I never hear from them again until I call and I'm then told that I have a new handler. To say I am disappointed with this law firm would be a gross understatement & I implore anyone that is looking for a personal injury attorney that's responsive and that will fight to get you your just compensation for the injuries that you suffered due to someone else's negligence to look elsewhere. I hired Mas law firm to defend me in my case. They do just the opposite, you don't get to pick your lawyer. They charge 5 times the normal rate. I got so unlucky to get picked this lawyer named ashkan. Pulls up in his fancy corvette charges 450 an hr and doesn't show up half the time and expects you to do all the work. You pay half the money and he withdraws if it's not worth his time or if you are a day late on a payment. I've had a case with the MAS Law Firm for over a year. I'm very unhappy with the handling of my case. It's next to impossible to speak to the person handeling your case. I've had to make multiple calls over at 2 week span just to speak to someone. When I finally speak to someone I get the same story over and over as if nothing has been done on or with my case from one conversation to the next. This has been reoccurring for well over a year now. I don't get the feeling that this firm cares about their clients and it's super frustrating. To top it off, when you call in the receptionist are SUPER rude and they cut you off and just transfer you when you're speaking. I was needing someone to represent me and put up a GOOD fight for me for my divorce/custody case. Hiring this law firm is my biggest regret! To start off, their prices are ridiculous and they don't do what you expect them to. I didn't hire the law firm, I hired, drove four hours and spoke specifically with Amber Shemesh and she is who I paid money to represent me due to the reviews I had read about her online. Well when I finally got my temporary orders hearing date they sent another lawyer who doesn't even specialize in family law! If Amanda couldn't make it tell me why did they send a Civil ligation lawyer who was not aware about any details of my case rather than a family law lawyer??? I was not one bit happy about the outcome, when I called to complain I was told " You got what you mainly wanted, so what's the problem?" Uhmm the problem is NO FIGHT was put for me, and I got one thing out of a lot I had asked them and told them! And the problem is that my soon to be ex husband's lawyer put up a hell of a fight for him and made this lawyer that came for me look ridiculous! I was made look like a fool and it was quiet embarrassing. I needed someone to fight for me and that didn't happen. I had to look for stuff in my file because this lawyer didn't know anything about my case. It was ridiculous and it doesn't end there! We paid $3,500 upfront so "Amber" could represent me and then we paid another $2,500 so in total that was $6,000.. $6,000 for a bad representation. When I asked for a refund I got $0 back!!! Someone tell me how you pay $6,000 and I haven't even made it to mediation or my final decree yet! $125 fee for talking on the phone for $30 mins for a stupid convo where I got nothing off. They charge $225 per hour on the phone.. crazy and wish I would've known all this before driving 4 hours to hire them... I would never recommend them to anyone to be honest. Throwing money in the trash if you do. I now have a GOOD and BETTER lawyer that is doing what he is suppose to. They are all sweet to you before they get your money but after you hire them they will slap you with a diff lawyer from who you thought you were working with and when you ask they say "we all work together" and these lawyers will make decisions for you without your consent and charge you for it!! After one month I get an invoice with $2,000 and I rushed to ask what did all do what are these charges for? They told me they had prepared for a hearing for my case which I had no idea about nobody had informed me about a hearing! They had given me just loads of paper work to be filled out for and when I had ask what are all these for they just replied by saying this is just the process for your case. They took a total of $3,000 and told me they would refund me the money in which they never did!! THEY ARE ALL LIARS!!!!! One guy was in the waiting room who requested to meet with his lawyer and I overheard the people at the front desk talking bad about him after he left. I felt bad for the guy he didn't speak English very well. These people are only after your money they don't care about your case!!
