First time at this location. We've gone to the one in Anaheim for over 10 years and discovered this location today on Yelp. It never popped up before until now. The food is just as good. The service is fine since this is just a local restaurant that isn't much decorated inside but you come here for the food. We will be coming to this location from now on since it is right off of the freeway. So easy and convenient to get to.

Great halal Chinese food with a solid menu selection. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quality halal spot in South OC!

1st time ever trying a Chinese Halal place. I didn't know what to expect or if the flavors were any different than your regular Chinese restaurant. For landmark, this is tucked next to REI at the Trader Joes plaza on El Toro & Avenida dela Carlota. Brought my family here and here's what we ordered: green onion pie (yum), sauteed peapod greens, honey walnut shrimp (okay), dumplings (okay), fried rice, beef roll, & Ma's fried chicken (delish). Food was okay, the flavors were a little different considering Chinese & mediterranean spice fusion, and servings were a little smaller than your typical Chinese restaurant. We really enjoyed the fried chicken here though. Overall, the food was not as flavorful but it felt way healthier than the usual restaurants. They offer lunch specials (11AM - 3PM daily except holidays) with cheaper, small portions, but includes soup, egg roll, & steamed rice if you dine in. Service was good. Huge dining area that can accomodate big parties.

I love sesame balls with red bean, it's such a delicious treat, but today I discovered their thin sesame bread with red bean, it's PIZZA SIZE!! And delicious!

I've been looking for good Chinese food. A co-worker told me about this place so I checked their menu online. I was happy to see many lunch offerings at different price points. The place is spacious and clean. I ordered the Kung Pao tofu lunch special. It comes with rice, soup and an egg roll. Everything was delicious and the portion was generous. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Sliced Sole Fillet in Spicy Bean Sauce, Mongolian Beef, Kung Pao

Eight of us celebrated a couple of birthdays with lunch after church. Tucked in the back of a shopping center, it's easy to miss. I liked the 2 pages of lunch specials that are available every day. The specials include soup, egg roll, and rice. My choice was Kung Pao 3 Flavors. Since this is a halal menu, there is no pork. This item had beef, chicken, and shrimp. Others had curry chicken, sweet and sour chicken, Mongolian beef, sliced sole fillet in spicy bean sauce, and kung pao chicken. Not lunch specials, but two others ordered mushu chicken and oxtail soup. The portions were good, and everyone was pleased. I was surprised that the place settings included a fork and a spoon, but no chopsticks. The server gave me chopsticks on my request. The staff kindly brought us plates and forks for the homemade cake we brought. I was surprised to find out this place has been here for 7 years. There is plenty of parking in the shopping center. Overall, a pleasant dining experience.

First timer here. Just a heads up - it's family style so portions are huge. Didn't realize that, but nothing wrong with left overs. We had sweet and sour soup, and egg drop soup along with chicken chow mein and fried rice. Food was good and Rosa was a sweetheart and very informative. Will be back

The Chicken 65 was prepared with the exact right amount of spice--perfectly balanced and making me wonder what happened to chickens 1 through 64. The Dahl was fantastic, but the absolute showstopper was the Biryani. Take it from someone who has spent time working in Hyderabad: this is the real deal, highly reminiscent of the city's absolute finest. We finished things off with the Shahi Tukda, which was so incredibly rich and tasty it probably needs its own tax bracket. Beyond the food, the logistics are a breeze. It's right off El Toro Road with ample parking (a true Southern California miracle). They also offer catering if you want to be the hero of your next event. We didn't get to try the lunch special this time, but it's an incredible value--two entrees, rice, naan, and a drink, neatly sidestepping the usual buffet trough. Bottom line: Go here. Eat everything. Thank me later.

I saw her name tag said Alicia as she turned and gave us a nasty look, responding with something along the lines of "I am not responsible for your table, if you need something ask your server not me!" Shocked and embarrassed (since I chose this restaurant to give my friend the luxurious Laguna Beach experience) we apologized for interrupting her. Unfortunately it didn't stop there, she rudely scoffed at us and walked off angrily. We were both caught off guard and tried our best to enjoy the rest of the night. Something that I cannot make, something that I've tried, yet the establishment still finds a way to give me a different and enjoyable experience. Boneless Chicken and Beef Koobideh Combo: One of the most dangerous things to order, as both things can either come out as dry, or start off as great, then dry up before you can finish. None of those scenarios happened here. The chicken was soft, juicy, seasoned very well, and it stayed that way. The beef koobideh had this smoky flavor profile, which is different from what I normally expect, and I liked it. Potato Boloni: I've never had boloni in my life, and the closest comparison I have is a Chinese or Korean pancake. The boloni had areas of spiciness, and I think it had room to go higher. It's definitely an appetizer, and I won't mind having it again. Service: There were only 2-3 occupied tables when we went. I think the staff had plenty of time to take our orders, give us water, and the food arrived within a reasonable time. Ambiance: You could tell that the restaurant was designed to host wedding receptions or larger parties in mind. Stage, lights, and a bunch of stuff that may be overwhelming for some. I didn't mind. Good food is all that matters.

It took approx 10 min for my food to come out, which wasn't long at all. The smell of the garlic was very strong, and I'm pretty sure my car will smell like garlic for the rest of the week. I ordered this particular item because all of the reviews for it were very positive. The chicken was tender and it was flavorful, but it didn't knock my socks off. It only came with 5 pieces. The lemon garlic potatoes were also just average. And the basmati rice seemed more wet than it typically should be. For the amount of food, I didn't think it warranted $15.
