They KnOW how to make a great Michelada. oh! They even have a huge vegetarian option menu! The venue is just so cute! I feel so comfortable just being there and chilling. Techno music is loud and booming so that you can start dancing right away. Usually two or three go go boys too. Nice bar keeps. Like in all bars some guys have attitude issues but most are easy to get along with. Great porn screens and Roman like frescos on the wall. For the leather crowd mainly. Nights here can be unbeatable or not worth the effort but that happens everywhere, If you look under 40 have your ID's ready emo boys.

Tons of fun. Dancers, on box AND around the bar/club. The outside "vape smoking" seating is REALLY nice to have, especially when the bar gets crowded and then REALLY gets hot inside. However, on this quarterly visit from London, I may have stumbled on the watering hole. There were perhaps 200+ people there, which i hope is a Saturday night norm, rather than a long holiday weekend uptick. That said, it was a fun evening and one I hope to repeat in future visits, long after my time living in San Francisco, in a distant past when I only knew The Eagle for its Sunday beer bust, which hopefully is still going strong at this institution.

I was nearby…read morewhile UCSF nurse volunteers were providing medical support and care to unhoused folks in the area--people who genuinely needed help--and the owner's behavior toward them was incredibly disrespectful. It was honestly disturbing to see people who are giving their time and compassion to serve the community be treated that way. Regardless of running a business, this is the Tenderloin. This neighborhood has always been home to vulnerable populations, especially around Turk & Taylor, and that reality isn't going anywhere. Instead of showing even a basic level of humanity or understanding, the response was dismissive and hostile. Businesses in this area should recognize the importance of community care, not work against it. I wouldn't feel good supporting a place that doesn't respect efforts to help the unhoused or those providing critical medical outreach. There's a difference between running a business and lacking compassion--and what I saw crossed that line.
