Mary is excellent, thorough, and a lovely person. She helped us purchase a home long distance during our cross country move, which is an intimidating process. Mary's access to listings and off-market options, her expertise of neighborhoods, her experience with unique properties and considering potential add-ons or renovations, and her thoroughness during the inspection process are just a few of the reasons we'd recommend working with her. When we found our perfect home, she managed complicated inspections and contacting professionals, navigated permitting issues and contract issues on our behalf, and communicated clearly and without panic - all while we were out of state. She told us we'd know everything about our home after the inspection and purchase process, and she was right. We closed feeling confident, informed, and at peace, knowing we had Mary in our corner. She is an exceptional agent, and we're so thankful to have her be a part of our big move! read more

She was a trusted advisor, problem solver, strategist, and steady source of support throughout the entire process. Reliable, responsive, and deeply knowledgeable, she handled every challenge with confidence and care. Time and time again, I found myself wondering if she ever slept. Mary Regal was an incredible partner and a patient agent as we embarked on our first time home-buying experience. She had answers for all of our questions and kindly guided us through the process of buying our house. She's an extraordinary person, and if we need to someday sell or purchase another place, we will be returning to Mary Regal instantaneously. Every house we toured, the listing agents all nodded with a smile when we said who our agent was; she seems to know everyone in the business, and that was an enormous help when we were closing on our dream home. There, now that the algorithm has what it needs, let's write some real stuff. Bro. BRO. Mary Regal is THE BEST. Sometimes we would call her 20x times a day, like idiots, and she'd answer the phone (and if she couldn't, she'd text and be like: gimme four mins) and give us answers. The properties she, herself, lists are UNREAL. They're so good we considered moving to Pasadena because of the house she was showing. Can you imagine us living in Pasadena? We were about to give up on all our friendships in LA and move to what is effectively the other side of planet earth because of how good Mary Regal is. Don't go with some other clown who's gonna waste your time and ignore your needs; go with the pro's pro, the lady whom everyone knows and loves. Go with Mary Regal or you're a fool and you deserve to live in a fool's home. read more

So grateful that our friends recommended Mary to us. She is incredibly friendly, a complete delight to be around and really held our hands through the entire process of finding a house as first time homebuyers. She was honest with her opinions, pointed out issues at homes that we might not have noticed, and didn't try to rush us into picking a place until we found one that really worked for us. I'd highly recommend working with her. read more

From the first time Mary and I spoke on the phone, I knew we were in good hands. She worked so hard to hold our hands through this process. It was such a pleasure working and just talking with her, I'm almost sad that we didn't have longer to view houses together! She's very straightforward about issues with a house and has a great sense of what worked for us. From making offers and counteroffers on several very different houses, we were so impressed at how astute she was at analyzing the market and fine-tuning our bids so they were just right for us and for the house. She got us a house we fell in love with at the last minute and then pulled together a wonderful team of inspectors to make sure the house was fit. I couldn't be more grateful that I got to work with her. read more

Working with Mary was my first experience with a real estate agent helping to purchase a home. She is beyond knowledgeable of the market, the ins and outs of the process, and could not have made things easier for me as a first time buyer. I know that I would have never been able to make this purchase without Mary and am so thankful for her patience with me and staying so on top of everything. She sends emails with houses off market, upcoming, and new finds tailored to your needs. She'll view homes with you if needed and walk you through the process of purchase. And once you purchase, the process gets even more intense and she is extremely thorough in organizing everything that is needed. I completely trusted her in the entire process. Mary was excellent! She guided us throughout the entire process with us as first time buyers. As a first time home buyer, I was completely overwhelmed by the entire process that I did not even know where to even start. That changed when I first spoke with Mary. She didn't hesitate one bit to answer all of my questions. But my favorite reason for working with Mary wast that she was so incredibly easy to reach. Text message or phone call, she was available at any given moment or would reply via text message if she was busy. As a first time buyer, or any buyer/seller, this was so comforting just knowing that your agent was reliable, responsive, and fast! Which brings me to the next reason you should have Mary as your agent. She got things DONE. We went through many revisions due to inspections, appraisals, and loan contingencies and she always provided those revisions and updates asap to give us the most time to complete other tasks. We started to consider buying a home in LA from the Bay Area. I honestly thought it would be impossible or at least extremely difficult. A friend of ours connected us with Mary and after having the initial conversation with her we felt hopeful. First off Mary sets you up with an account on compass with all of your search criteria inputted so that you can start looking and commenting on houses, neighborhoods, and features you like, dislike or have a question about. This laid the foundation for all of our interactions with Mary. She was responsive, knowledgeable and really helpful in helping us understand the market and neighborhoods from afar. She knows her areas, the agents in them and state of the market really well. Our first time flying down Mary had us look at a variety of houses and neighborhoods so that we could familiarize ourselves even more with LA and to quickly understand what it is we valued and needed in this home. We spent about 4 days in LA and this gave Mary all the information she needed to continue the search with and for us when we headed back up north. From there Mary did everything she could to help us make decisions from the Bay Area. She would go to see houses and either quickly rule them out based on our criteria or create walk through videos with her narration to help us better understand the flow and features of a house or neighborhood. This allowed us to strategically decide when we needed to fly down. In the month long engagement with Mary we only needed to fly down one more time and that trip ended up being the house we eventually closed on. Mary is one the sweetest people in the world her mid west charm and pleasant demeanor make her such a joy to interact with. We loved working with her so much we referred her to our friends that were diving into the LA market and she just closed for them too!!! We met Mary nearly two years ago when she was showing an apartment in Silverlake and we connected with her immediately. She has such a great demeanor and exudes professionalism while displaying first rate knowledge. My wife and I are demanding clients. I literally texted Mary at 4:30am some mornings with questions and thoughts. She not only provided guidance, but was unbiased in her actions. Everyone on her team bent over backwards to accommodate our shifting schedules and they followed the new guidelines to the book. We were all over the map as far as style of house and neighborhood and Mary was able to adjust to our changing needs as we learned the ins and outs of the LA market. We reached out to Mary in early June about being interested in looking and by early July we were under contract. Mary knew so many different realtors in Silverlake, Los Feliz and Atwater than showings were worry free and our offer process was straightforward. We had a few hiccups on the inspection; however, Mary's steady hand guided us through to closing. Her contacts for our various inspections were trustworthy and ended up saving us from future pain due to their thorough reviews. We are nearly a month into our new house and could not be happier. Thank you for making our dreams come true Mary!! read more

Mary is simply the best. From our initial conversation, to putting in our first offer on a home, we could not have been in better hands. Mary has a home-buyer guide that was my bible throughout the 6 months we were searching for a home, and she always checked in with us appropriately with recommendations and open houses. We were able to find our dream home in December and navigate escrow and negotiations quickly. She was a great resource when it came to inspections and her answers to our questions were insightful. She always keeps it real, and taught me the value that an experienced realtor can bring to the process. We really lucked out when we were introduced to Mary and cannot imagine having worked with anyone else as first-time home buyers. If that weren't enough, she's hilarious and a joy to be around. Thanks for everything Mary! read more

We were first time home buyers and had no idea what to expect. Mary helped us with our search, put together offers, and endure the emotionally challenging wait-and-see period. It was all so helpful, Mary was already at the five star mark. Once we finally had an offer accepted, that's when Mary shined even further. She was ready with a team of inspectors to make the difficult escrow period shockingly stress free. Questions were answered, options were given, and before we knew it, we'd reached our closing date. That's all thanks to Mary. Even AFTER her work was technically done, she's still there to answer questions. The headline to remember is that finding a house and winning a bid is just the beginning; it's when you get into escrow that you'll really want a seasoned partner to guide you through it. Mary excels at both aspects of the job. Couldn't imagine doing this without her. read more
