Pretty much a one man show that still believes in offering customized service to people. If he doesn't have it, he will either get it for you or direct you to the best place to pick it up. To me, that is service above & beyond. Maybe the guy bad rapping him in another review got him on a bad day. Or maybe he had someone filling in for him. Randy is generous & active in the Ventura community supporting non profit charities and individuals in need. That says a lot about a friend and business associate I admire & respect. -Bruce Fowler

Fortunately, Randy was still alive and well, and able to design a board for me, send the specs to the shaper, and get me my new stick, including packing and boxing it up for me within the twelve days I had before heading back to South America. I've been surfing for more than 60 years, surfed and lived all over the surfing world, and I either purchased or had Randy design boards that I'm fortunate to have in my quiver. He's a great guy, fun to be around, and Wave Front has the vibe of surf shops from back in the days when they did nothing but talk surfing and make finely crafted surfboards.

These kids had a blast and came home exhausted. The instructors are safety oriented and remind the campers to drink water and apply sunscreen. Your child must be responsible enough to do it, this is an outside activity. It's not easy hearding these cats but they do a good job. These instructors are fun-loving and helpful.

BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT ON MY GRANDCHILDREN!!!!!!!!…read more WITHOUT RESERVATION. I highly recommend this sutf camp. First and foremost, the owner Rodrigo Cardenas is one of the most accommodating people I have ever dealt with. He is kind and reassuring. He made sure both my grandchildren got in the same camp. Now let's talk About the manager, Kyle.. Kyle is one of the most attentive, passionate, Supervisor, oginized people I have observed. He loves the kids and puts thier safty first. Both Kyle and All the surf coaches are constantly reminding the kids to hydrate, rest and re-apply sunscreen....They work together as a team, to not only teach each camper learns how to surf, but how to encourage others..to surf, have fun, and be safe. I wish I could remember the name of all the coaches. But I'm 62 and my memory fails me. But I have to say Nate does stand out. While all the coaches are extremely encouraging with the kids and are very professional. And it is obvious that they care for the campers, I can tell that coaching is Nate's passion. He has an amazing lifestyle. He coaches surfing all summer and snowboarding in the winter. And never sell any of the female coaches short., They are amazing women. I feel a bit embarrassed that I can't remember all of their names.. It is not because they didn't leave an impression on me, it is simply my memory.. Every single one of them, all the male coaches and female coaches are amazing people.. It is very hard to impress me when it comes to how people treat one another. And especially when it comes to how people treat children. But every one of these people left a deep impression.. My grandchildren felt cared for as well as they felt like they were really taught something. Truthfully my granddaughter everything athletic comes super easy to her. My grandson, on the other hand., It's very intelligent. But anything athletic comes with a bit of a challenge for him.. But believe me, they taught him how to surf. The look on his face when he finally conquered the waves was A look I will never forget.. I thank God for this camp. I really believe it was a divine appointment when I called Rodrigo. God is so good.. I really believe this was The perfect camp for my grandchildren..

Every exhibit actually keeps them engaged not just looking, but doing. The interactive tables (like the spinning drum and dice games) were a hit. My kids didn't want to leave and kept going back to the same stations. It's also really clean, organized, and easy to navigate even with little ones. Pricing was reasonable for what you get abbout $25 for adults, $20 for kids, and under 2 is free, which is nice. Staff was friendly and everything felt well-maintained. You can tell they designed this place with kids in mind but adults still have fun too. Definitely a solid family day trip spot from LA. Would come back again

I figured out it was the Moxi. I guess it make quite the impression on her last year. The museum had some new exhibits this time around. They added a fun ball launcher that I also enjoyed as well. The water exhibit could use some love. Some of the hydraulic levers was either not working or you had to really work at it. My toddler was not strong enough to use them. One thing I like is that we were able to leave and come back after lunch. We got to make the most if our trip. I'm sure we'll ge back next year.
