Because of that experience, I knew I could rely on Adam Touni and his team to help me find a next home that fit my criteria -- even though I was still unsure where I wanted to buy. A seamless transition: TRG agent Colton Hoagland happened to have a rental listing become available near my move-out date located in Menlo Park, just a couple of miles from the home I sold. The transition could not have been easier. Finding the right neighborhood: Once settled, Colton and I began exploring options in Peninsula neighborhoods that interested me. Although I expected the search to take much longer, in April Colton toured me on a unique 1935 Craftsman home in the lovely Mount Carmel neighborhood of Redwood City. I was thrilled when my offer was accepted, after thoughtful guidance from Adam. After fully disclosed infrastructure renovations were completed, I excitely moved into my new home this past July. Expert guidance in a competitive market: I was impressed by Adam and Colton's ability to gauge the competitive market and guide me through it with confidence. Despite multiple aggressive offers, the sellers chose mine. It was such a joy to celebrate that success with Adam and his team.

We ordered extra inspections, shifted requirements more than once, and after closing needed plenty of help with contractors. Adam and Colton (and their other staff) were knowledgeable, hardworking and responsive throughout. Perhaps more important, they were truly looking out for our interests. On a couple occasions they were willing to walk away from placing offers on properties that would not have been a good match even after they had put in significant work on researching those properties. Ultimately, we were able to buy a property at a price we considered something of a bay area value when Adam played our cards just right with a motivated seller in an iffy market.

The experience of working with Wendy was absolutely wonderful! The first day we met her, she first spoke to us in detail to understand our goals - what we are looking for in our new home. Based on that, every home we visited, she explained, in detail, how certain things are aligned/not aligned with our goals. For every home we were interested in, she quickly ran the comparisons to give us an idea of what would be a good bidding price for that home. She also explained the key things we should be looking for in disclosures. This was super helpful for first time home buyers like us. For every offer we made she made sure we were going in with a competitive price. The best part about working with her was the fact that she was always available for viewing/discussion and would always come back with the right information needed for us to make an offer. Her dedication towards her job really impressed both my husband and me. She never forced us to close a deal early. In fact, she encouraged us to view as many homes as possible so that we look at enough neighborhoods and houses to know exactly what we want in our first home/ what kind of neighborhood works best for us. She took us to different homes within the same/nearby neighborhoods to explain how factors like location, school district, house conditions etc. affects price and demand. For every home, she also did the math on potential growth. The house we eventually ended up buying had already accepted an offer the day I messaged Wendy about the house. However, she followed up with the seller's agent the next day and that's when she got to know that they had rejected the contract and the house was back on the market. She sent the comps right away, suggested we quickly view the house and send an offer out to beat the competition. This allowed us to secure a competitive price and we are very grateful for that. She also provided contacts for loan and insurance agents and all of them were great to work with. We are extremely pleased to have bought our first home with Wendy and can't recommend her enough!

We had an incredibly positive experience working with Wendy and feel so very lucky to have had her knowledge and expertise! She turned what would have been an intimidating home buying experience into an experience where we felt prepared and knew what to expect for things to go smoothly. Wendy's detailed guidance was key for us to become quickly prepared to make competitive offers before the spring market picked up. Astonishingly, we were so fortunate to have our first offer accepted and went from our first meeting with Wendy to start our house hunt, to being in contract in under a month! We are particularly appreciative of how Wendy prepared us for the home buying process as first time home buyers. To help calibrate us on what the current market is like, she showed/toured a variety of different SFH within the same area to understand how factors like location, school district, inspection condition etc affects demand and comp. Her advice and data-driven approach greatly helped calibrate our expectations to understand what a winning offer would realistically look like for our desired criteria. Wendy even had us practice the process of reviewing disclosures and did a mock offer round with a house that we had toured, which was incredibly helpful to simulate the experience of making an offer. Wendy's mortgage loan officer contacts were also great, and we ended up going with one of the lenders she recommended. I also wanted to make a special positive note about Wendy's dedication and her commitment to being available. Our house went on the market while Wendy was out of the country on vacation, but nevertheless the whole process was seamless. Wendy has a great team covering for her so there was no delay in touring the house immediately. As soon as she returned, Wendy met with us to craft our offer. She was incredibly patient and dedicated, and spent multiple hours over the two days preceding the offer day going through various possible scenarios and what our plan was in each. Her knowledge and insight into house seller psychology was so helpful in crafting our successful offer. Throughout the whole escrow process Wendy and her team kept in touch and closing went smoothly. We feel incredibly lucky to have bought our dream home with Wendy and can't recommend her enough!

I was fortunate to have the assistance of a number of good agents, but Caroline is without a doubt head and shoulders above all of them. I recently sold my current condo home with Caroline as my sales agent. Caroline was also the agent who helped me to buy my place some 13 years ago. I had such a wonderful experience working with Caroline that I immediately thought of her again when I decided to sell my place. Most real estate transactions tend to follow fairly standard operating procedures. Thus the basic mechanics of a property sale or purchase can be handled by most agents without issue. However, when things go awry, that's when the experience, expertise and professionalism of a real estate agent really become absolutely critical. Such was the case with me. After my house was on the market for about 10 days, a couple made an offer that I accepted. So after signing the initial agreements, the couple proceeded to do their due diligence, which included various inspections. When the latter were all completed to the buyers' satisfaction, they removed all their purchase contingencies, and we were officially in escrow. Now all we had to do was wait for the buyers' bank to fund the loan. And that's when things took an unexpected turn. My buyers were pre-approved for a so-called faith-based loan from a small community bank in Chicago. Neither Caroline nor I, nor the title company where we opened escrow, knew much about what exactly a faith-based loan entailed; we just thought it would not be that different from any other mortgage loan. We were wrong! With us now in escrow, the bank in Chicago unexpectedly asked for various additional data/information that was outside of the scope of what was in the condo disclosure package that was provided to and signed off by the buyers earlier. So Caroline had to scramble very quickly to respond to the bank. That was by no means an easy task as multiple parties had to be identified and contacted. But after moving heaven and earth, Caroline did deliver everything the bank requested. Yet, in the end, my buyers were not able to get their loan. So that escrow, which by then was 3 weeks past the agreed closing date, fell through. I was, to be sure, a bit crestfallen. But Caroline was able to put that setback quickly behind her, and promptly arranged for the staging company she had long worked with to re-stage my condo in short order. With Caroline resuming hosting open houses again, I did quite quickly receive another offer that was in fact better than the one I had accepted previously. This time, we were able to close escrow without any issue within a month. So it all turned out well, and that was totally to Caroline's credit. Her hard work and undaunted spirit truly made all the difference. I should also note that I was overseas in Asia during all that time, so my communications with Caroline were mostly by email. On those few occasions when I felt that a phone conversation was needed, I would call Caroline. Given the 15-hour time difference between Caroline's Pacific Standard Time and my time zone in Asia, I would often reach Caroline at 8 or 9 pm her time. Quickly brushing aside my apologies for calling her so late, Caroline would always cheerfully take such time as we needed to discuss our next steps. Caroline wrote well, and fast, and she presented all her points clearly and succinctly. So I was always kept fully apprised of what's going on notwithstanding we were in different continents and time zones. In summary, I cannot imagine a real estate agent who is more efficient, pleasant to work with, experienced, hardworking, dedicated, and smart as Caroline. If Yelp were to change their maximum star rating from 5 to 10 stars, I would have to give Caroline eleven stars!

We started working with Nicole over two years ago as a referral from a close friend who spoke very highly of her. As first time home buyers, my husband and I were basically clueless and had no idea just how complex the Bay Area real estate market is. Nicole helped us navigate these waters with ease, and educated us about the complexities of disclosure packets and purchase contracts well in advance so that when the time finally came, we'd be familiar with such detailed documents. Pre-covid, Nicole spent an entire Saturday driving us to houses in various neighborhoods so that we could see what different cities offered and to help us narrow down our home search based on what we saw. We also attended several open houses together and she always kept an eye out for homes that fit our criteria and attended broker tours on our behalf. We also continued working with Nicole throughout the pandemic and experienced first hand how the original interaction model had to change. Without any open houses, I felt like Nicole had to pour even more time into our search because covid policies required individual appointments to view each home. Nicole was patient with us as we viewed what seemed like 20+ homes during a nine month period. She is respectful of your opinions, but will also share her professional opinion when requested. We ultimately found a home and throughout the entire closing process, not only did Nicole help us, but so did her team. We were in the best of hands and there weren't any hiccups. Together, this team guided us every step of the way with constant communication. DocuSign was used to electronically sign all documents and keys were left in a lockbox when the home was officially ours! In fact, with their help, we were able to close a week earlier than expected! As you can tell, we obviously spent a lot of time with Nicole (she was stuck with us for two years!) and we enjoyed every minute of it. She's great to be around and extremely insightful. Finally, I want to share a story from when my husband and I first started going to open houses a few years ago. When we told other agents who our realtors were (we just would say "carol and Nicole") and they *always* knew who we were talking about. Nicole and Carol have created a reputation that is built upon trust, professionalism and extensive market-specific knowledge.

Their advice was about what was right for us, not about closing a deal fast. The other thing that stood out is how they work as a team. Our house is older and needed a lot of work. Their handyman took care of a long list of repairs, and Elve, their designer, worked with the staging team to make the place look great. Both were part of their service, so no surprise bills.
