ALL THINGS ARE NOT CREATED EQUALLY!…read more Christina Rhoades represents two individuals under the umbrella of this company. One artist creates paintings while the other has a specialty food line, including seasonings, balsamics, jalapeno candy, infused oils and more. I was drawn in by the balsamic display because I am out of my favorite white balsamic vinegar. They have a white balsamic that I eventually sampled. Initially I hesitated because it was actually yellow instead of clear. When I taste it, it doesn't have the taste that I prefer, a light twang and not as sweet. This product tasted flat and was not very appetizing. I really prefer the Trader Joe's brand which is delicious on salads and well priced. Although they have infused oils, there were none available today although they did have spices. When it comes to relish and pickled items and peppers, I let my husband do the testing. He sampled a couple of items but didn't seem very impressed. *** Infused olive oil and balsamic vinegars are a big trend right now. I am seeing them at almost every fair or festival and the stores continue to pop up. All things are not created equally so be cautious and sample freely. Also, consider what you are paying for these special condiments that you can easily purchase almost anywhere! Of the many items available to sample, I only sampled one and do not feel comfortable with giving only two stars, so I am awarding three.

We picked up some goat cheese balls, a sampler set of 4. OMG, they were so good, I had to look…read morethem up on "The Google". Will try to catch up with them at the next fair in town. The Goat Cheese sampler is worthy of serving to company.

We were meeting friends here to celebrate a birthday with a few kids. I had never been here before…read moreand only had instructions to meet at a designated time. Walking in, it looks like a small painting studio and wasn't very busy/crowded. I arrived ahead of my friend and the young lady asked if we had a reservation. I explained that I hadn't organized the meet up and was waiting for my friend who had. She then proceeded to lecture me - over and over and over and over (seriously it was more than 10 times) that parties over a certain size needed a reservation. So... I called my friend. She said that there wasn't a reservation because she was informed that they are only required for groups over 10 (we had 4 kids who wanted to paint). When I relayed this to the young lady, the lectures started again and I was told that the number 6 for a reservation. A moot point since we are still only 4. After several more minutes of grief-giving, she told me that I could sit in the back room with our group (it was completely empty). While sitting there quietly waiting, she came again ... more lectures. At one point I told her that her point has been made very clearly and asked if we can just move on. So there we waited for the rest of our group. When my friend arrived, the lectures started again. Doing this painting activity was a special request from the birthday kiddo. It wasn't a party; more like a few hours with a couple of besties. If it weren't by special request, I would have walked out and not looked back. As is - this business is not somewhere I will frequent in the future. The customer service was appallingly bad, downright rude, and extremely unprofessional.

So many amazing options to choose from and we were able to walk right in, pick a piece, and enjoy…read more Was definitely not a "go once wouldn't go again." PERFECT date night spot! Owners were so nice.

Initially, I wasn't sure if making the voyage to Dallas for Eat Sleep Knit was worth it but let me…read moretell you, it sure was. Yarn paradise! Eat Sleep Knit is home to a mammoth selection of quality, hand-dyed yarns and knitting/crocheting supplies. They do most of their business online but their bricks and mortar shop/warehouse is currently open from 12-3 PM Tuesdays through Saturdays.  Regarding COVID-19 precautions, they only allow 10 customers inside at a time (a sign outside instructs you to take a number), and masks are required. There's plenty of room to maneuver away from other shoppers since the floor is spacious. The skein shopping is unparalleled, with cubbies upon cubbies of favorites like Malabrigo, Madelinetosh, Manos del Uruguay, and Cascade. I had to refrain from prancing and twirling around in the aisles all giddy. The quantities and colorways are eye-popping! ESK has a Yarnathon rewards program where you can get bonuses for reaching yardage milestones. You also receive a scratch-off lotto ticket each time you buy something; you can score prizes like store credit and extra yardage. The employees are nice and helpful so don't hesitate to ask for assistance. And there's more yarn in the back in case you don't see what you need. I've also ordered online; purchases are shipped the next day or so, packed in bright tissue paper. The Black Friday sale is cool; you check out and then see what surprise discount you get, ranging from 10 to 100% off. Look at ESK's social media for details on this.
