She had a clear understanding of the structures involved and how they connected to other parts of my body. She understood what was happening in my body. Best of all she was able to help me reduce the pain and improve my movement and functioning overall. She worked on me directly and taught me how to work on myself. I was a long-term customer there, with a regular weekly schedule and LOVED the class itself and my usual instructor. The owner very recently downsized to a small studio which made for some really inconvenient changes that are really hard to ignore. The first is parking, the old location had a decent amount available, but the new space in the State Theatre building does make it challenging if you're commuting. The second is the price hike. I used to get my 5 class pass for barre only for $55, which was a steal. Totally would have been okay with a reasonable update to align with competitors but it was hiked to $100 for a 5 class pass, which is really unreasonable in my opinion. Granted this price includes reformer and barre, but for someone who doesn't do reformer classes it's definitely not worth it. The last piece is the class times. They used to have a wide variety and I always had at least 4-6 people in my 5:30p classes. The new space only has classes until 12-12:30 which is truly not helpful for people with jobs! Overall, still a huge fan of barsculpt as a class but not a fan of the new space or business practices.

They don't allow golf carts in the parking lot so you want to get there early to allow adequate time for check-in. The course was in very good condition. Tee boxes were well marked and in good repair. The fairways are not exceedingly wide so you will be in trouble if you are not accurate off the tee. My biggest complaint was all the granite rocks, just a real pain and on several holes can really impact your shot selection. There is some up and down and few elevated tee boxes but not a lot. My favorite hole was #17, a 135 yard Par 3. There is a big granite rock that partially blocks a clear path/view to an elevated green. You don't want to be left or you are on Mt Rushmore and not in a good way.

The classes are grouped: Strength, Cycle, Barre and Yoga with different classes offered in each group (e.g. Strength - ROW, Barre - Tone, Yoga - Sculpt, etc.). In addition to the "regular" classes there are fun themed classes, and classes that support local charitable organizations, too! The class schedule is different each week, but every day there are classes offered early in the morning (5:45/6am), mid morning (7-9am), lunchtime, and afternoon/evening (4-5:45pm). There are even classes on the weekends. No matter your schedule, you can find a time to make it to MISSION. I love that they have an app which makes it easy to schedule and plan out classes each week.
