There was an unpleasant situation going on outside her shop & other shops because someone didn't get enough attention as a child or something, but anyway, she got us in away from the drama. I found a wonderful couture rock shirt that she had made. I am a big fan of boutiques that contain a variety of items. This shop had jewelry, purses,…read morescarves, etc. From what I gathered, the jewelry ranged from new items to antique (or looked antique) in the cases. I felt, overall, the prices ranged from inexpensive to expensive. A small pile of knit head wraps caught my eye in the back of the store. They had different colors with each having embroidery and some sequins/rhinestones. I had my heart set on a gray, knit head wrap with bright turquoise and black embroidery all over it. It was $35 but one of the owners took an extra $5 off. Sold. While I paid for the wrap, the owner and cashier struck up conversation with my daughter and I. They were very friendly but then again, my daughter has a way of charming the pants off of people. Of all the things I purchased on my trip, this purchase at Lola was the one I am most excited about. Bring on the cool weather so I can wear it!!!

These guys are true artists and take their headpieces and fashions to a whole new level. The other negative reviews about this place are a load of crap in my opinion. My guess is that there is some ulterior motive involved which I won't get into here but suffice to say, our experiences with this place were excellent and we found the proprietors extremely engaging and they had an artistic outlook and philosophy which was very refreshing compared to many of the stores in the area which are just selling touristy nick-knacks. I just wish they had a website because I would love to buy some headpieces and other articles of clothing to use for our fashion photography work. If you are looking for some fabulous fashion pieces which would be as at home in a modern, fashion museum as they would be at a masked ball, check this place out.

She told me it used to be the old Chrysler building, hence the oil stains on the floor but I thought that was pretty cool as it added flair to the store and considering it was in an old building. You can definitely find some neat stuff here for yourself or the kids. I bought a deck of Manifest Success Affirmation cards from her store. I absolutely love them, they're so beautiful, I've never owned a deck like these before. I will definitely stop by here again next time I come by. She was talking about getting some Wanted in Jerome t-shirts, I hope she has them next time as I loved the design of her store name. Definitely come check out her store and SUPPORT a local shop!

Decided to go out today with my cousin-in-law (who also needed a wedding guest dress)Tried Kohl's-some were cute but not me and no one asked if we needed help. At Maurice's Kelsey asked if we needed any help. We told her what we were looking for, when the wedding was and where it was and she was all over it. She found all different dresses in our sizes that we needed. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of her associate, but she was a very sweet girl. She had her bring back the dresses that she found for us and put our names on our dressing rooms. We were able to talk freely with Kelsey and her associate about what we need it and even made some nice small talk. They even pressed the dresses and put them in dress bags for us for free . Which they had done for us and a little over an hour so we were able to take it home like that which, was great. Loved having such a personal experience here. I would highly recommend anyone going here. I also bought two extra blouses, which were very cute. A great experience.
