My nails look pretty good, but I was disappointed that they did not use new/clean nail files and buffers - I'm pretty sure that's a requirement per health guidelines. I got a builder gel rebase and design, and I'd say it was a very typical Bay Area nail salon experience. It's not very relaxing inside as the staff talks to each other loudly in their native language constantly. At one point I had to wash my hands in the back and an employee was standing at the sink holding food trash out of the way so I could wash, and she had to hand me a paper towel since the dispenser was blocked by clutter. Adequate, but for $85 plus fees, I'll find somewhere else next time I'm in town. read more

My new favorite place!!! I made a last minute phone call to get an appointment about an hour before closing and they were so accommodating!! They didn't mind staying till later to finish (shout out to the girlies)!!! I got gel-x with different designs on each finger. They were so meticulous about everything (including my cuticles, so important) and I'm super happy about how everything turns out!!! They didn't mind going the extra mile to make sure everything i wanted was executed!!! P/s: I asked them to take the photos since they have the lighting there and it's great haha read more

My second time here the only reason for a 3 star review is due to my technician who did my nails yesterday left loose parts on my nails. I got a dip powder manicure and for some reason not sure why the turn out was like this. I've been here before with my coworker and the first time the girl who did them did a great job but yesterday's outcome was upsetting. Not sure if I will be going back. read more

I'm very mixed about my experience here! I loved how they turned out but my manicure lasted less than a week! They are already lifting and peeling. I was so disappointed and unsure how this happened. I've had them done in other places and they last 2 to 3 weeks. The pedicure came out really well though and loved that but I don't know if I'd want to come here if the gel manicure won't last. I've been coming here for about 2 years now & hands down will be the only place I continue to go to. The owners Nam & Ava are the sweetest, they always take their time to get to know all of their guests by name, and pay attention to detail. I'm normally pretty basic with my nails (typically just get almond shape, hard gel with pinky nude), but it's so hard to find a place that is consistent in the quality & detail! This past time I actually got that viral DND cherry mocha color for the holidays & I LOVE IT! Ava did a great job & they were able to squeeze me in for a pedicure that day as well :) All of the other nail techs are very sweet too, I will continue to recommend read more

I went in to have my previous gel x removed and a new set applied. The first experience here was great, the owner is awesome. I was really hoping for this to be my new regular spot. Buuut, I reached out after making an appointment to cancel due to family issues and promptly rescheduled through text with the owner, Ava. I showed up on the appointment date & time...she was not there. I requested her specifically because she did the best the first time. I was given to a male tech who wasn't understanding what I was explaining to him and called her to communicate what I wanted. I was very unhappy with the service during this visit. The owner showed up and tried to rectify the situation. My nails were crooked, and the shape was a mess. I felt gaslighted while explaining what I was unhappy with and told it wasn't that bad. I left my appointment unhappy with the result. I rescheduled once again for a new set. To start fresh and give them another chance. Again, the lady I booked with was not there. I'm super disappointed I wasn't able to continue going to this salon as it is close to my house snd in between daily hustle & bustle easy for me to get what I wanted done. Regarding the customer service: the male techs here were constantly on their phones and yelling back and forth to one another across the salon. This didn't feel like they cared about their customers, nor did they pay much attention. This was very off putting and uncomfortable. One male kept leaving to smoke right outside the door making the whole salon smell of cigarettes. I'm not one to usually leave a negative review, but I must say these days...great customer service is hard to find. I have been trying to find the best salon to have my nails done and it's been a challenge at many. I am pretty simple and speak up with how I want things and it feels like the staff is offended. Isn't that was customer service is? Serving your customer? So we have had pedicures by the two men and they were very rough and caused us pain. This time we called ahead. Stated explicitly three or more times during the phone call that we would like the women to do our pedicures and explained why. Then I asked what time the two women had appts available. They told us 3pm. We arrived 2:45. All chairs were full. Which is fine. 3:15 we were invited to sit and soak. The water burned both our feet and they seemed shocked. Then they had a man (the rougher of the two) sit down to do my. Mom's pedicure. I immediately stopped him from starting. The lady tried to tell me I did not ask for the women when I called. This is absolutely untrue. She tried to tell this again and she said there were no notes to that affect on the calendar. I told her she didn't remember to write it down. Wondering if it is time to look elsewhere. Or only book online where apparently we can choose the person. Edit to four stars from one star We finally got the two ladies and a very nice pedicure. read more

Most disrespectful and worst service I've ever received at a nail salon. Talk about customer service. Went with my girlfriend (who is a customer for 3 plus years). Nam, who was doing her nails was asked by my girlfriend if the face mask was was uncomfortable, the n95 face mask. His reply to her, in front of young children, mothers and families was, that she can see her face later at his house, however only she can come over. This is a grown man with a wife and children, DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR. Relationship aside, this is not the way you treat customers. A business is built off the back of their customers, existing and perspective as I run a company myself. Yelp is an online tool to help people inquire about a business before going. Anyone reading this, please understand it took a lot to write a review and put a businesses future revenue in jeopardy. There is a fun line in customer service and Marvrlous nails and spa crossed it. Unfortunately the management is bad, they were late by 30 min (supervisor didn't show any hesitation and didnt apologize.) I had a hard stop and suggested to downgrade my pedicure so I won't be late , she said that they will be on time and no worries. The Pedicure was rushed thru and she charged me fully and even explicitly requested a tip, rejected to listen to my dissatisfaction. Basically they don't know what's good service read more

Highly recommend this place for the best services I had. I came here monthly for my pedicure and gel menicures. They have lots of different choice of colors. I often don't go for same color for my pedi and mani. I had hard time for picking the color that's why my hand anf feet never match. Both nail tech Hien (Heidi) and Nam are super patience for whatever designs I requesting for. Love their excellent job and services they provided. I forget to mention that I try out their lash extensions services as well. read more

Good price, and very friendly ladies working there. $26 for gel mani, $22 for basic pedi. If you are going for price, this is your place. If you are going for quality, it seems hit or miss. Positive: My pedicure has lasted a little over 3 weeks now, which is great. It's survived vacationing, water sports, hiking, running, clubbing and the dreaded work heels. That's actually pretty impressive! Negative: The downside for the pedi is that the lady plucked out part of my toenail on the side when she was doing my cuticles, to which I responded with a big "ouch!" No bleeding or anything, but it still hurts to touch three weeks later. Not fun. The materials used didn't seem the cleanest either... As for my gel mani, this literally lasted me TWO DAYS before it started peeling off. Gel manicures generally last me 2 weeks, if not longer. Would I return? Probably for my toes. Probably not for the gels. read more

Under new management! I called around 5pm to see if I could come in for a gel mani/ pedi and I was scheduled within 10 minutes. Anne and Kevin did an amazing job. Very clean, super friendly and very, very accommodating. I came with my baby and Anne was so sweet to put Cocomelon on TV to keep my little one occupied. I will definitely be coming back. read more

I was driving yesterday to find a nail salon that would be both outdoors but not suffocating inside of a tent... like some of the salons in Redwood City. I came to this fantastic salon in Belmont and had the best manicure and pedicure I've had in years. It's family owned and operated and you get none of that attitude that could happen in other nail salons. These are such hard-working and gracious people. For Covid safety, they set up a spot outdoors on a patio, and it looks like you're sitting in a tropical garden. Very fair pricing and quality polish and skill. read more

So grateful that they stayed open late for me. Not a lot of places would do that and still take their time to ensure they did a good job. I am very pleased. I will update how long they lasted. Amy did a beautiful job and I'll definitely go back. She took her time and made sure I was happy with the result. She constantly checked to make sure. I did the dip nail set ($38 plus cuticle cut $5) in the shade 55. Whole process took about 50 minutes. Very pleased with the results. read more

What a wonderful find! Beautiful organized super clean great massage chairs! My gal Ava was super gentle and a pro she cut my toenails the same size and direction! Lol! The best part was the super soft towels! I held on to the chair to get the ruff job but these felt like velvet! I am so excited to find my new salon!! Super friendly staff. I'm a first time customer and got a full set of acrylic nails, ombré powder. My nail tech was Nam, and he did a great job. So much attention to detail. Also, 2 days after, I broke the tip of my nail (totally my fault) and I called the nail salon to see if they could fix it. The woman I spoke with over the phone was so kind and told me I could come by anytime. I came the following day right after work and Nam fixed my nail at no charge but I still tipped him since it was not their fault! Will definitely come again. read more

My appointment was at 2pm and Ava didnt take me toll 2:35. I don't recommend coming to this spot anymore. Ava kept running the machine on my skin and expecting me not to jump. So she told me if i have to jump like that not to come back to her. She has become rude over the months I have gotten to know her. read more

This nail salon has been a absolute staple in my life for the past 3 years in regards to self care. All of the ladies that provide the services do immaculate work. This review is specifically for Emmy and the lash services she provides. I regularly see her for individual lash extensions in which I always end up looking amazing. In these photos in particular we have done another form of lash enhancements. These are not the individual lashes but look just as luxurious. This service is only $50 and about 20 to 30 minutes of application time. It's a great way to get a quick and lasting glam look on a budget. I would highly recommend this service or any other wax or nail related services they offer. I always walk out from my appointments a very happy and satisfied customer. They are kind and attentive and very generous to their new and regular returning clientele. read more

This has been my regular place for mani-pedi's for over 3 years. It was a welcoming place, familiar faces and a place where they know your name and knew what you wanted. On a recent visit, I noticed the "Grand Opening" sign on display. I went inside and saw none of the familiar faces I have come to know. I was told the business was sold about a month ago. Since I was already there, I gave them a try. I had my regular mani-pedi and felt that it was acceptable. I'll probably give this place another try before making any decisions. I did notice that the prices increased and for my basic mani-pedi it was $40. read more

I went here looking for a new place that could clean my nail, and toe nails right. Unfortunately this place sucks they didn't remove my cuticles correctly, they didn't clean my nails, didn't massage, Paid $70 for a horrible experience,definitely not worth the $ or time. Wish they knew that it's hard to make money now a days to throw it away on poor performance. read more

She was more thorough with the Brazilian than other people I'd recently seen, and the results were more complete with less pain. She's such a kind, warm spirit with a very loyal client base, and for good reason. You can schedule with her via text, and she is quite flexible to accommodate you as best as she can. She's so detailed and gentle; the entire process was painless and I feel like she took her time to give me the best results. While I gave her free control, she kept my length (which is always my preference) and gave me the arch of my dreams (not too arched but not too subtle either).
