Another electrician had come out earlier to do an estimate and struggled to diagnose what took Nestor a quick look to figure out. The other electrician quoted a crazy price and we were hoping that Nestor would be reasonable. And he was. The work was done efficiently and when he walked out, everything was cleaned and worked well. We will call him in the future for all of our electrical needs.

You would be stupid NOT to hire this guy for ANY electrical work and I'm about to tell you why…read more I had an electrical storm take out one of my breakers. The first electrician who came out insisted that it was more than just the breaker and charged me $550 for a diagnostic only to advise me that my wiring and ground was all burned out and I need $9400 worth of electrical work to rewire that whole leg of my electric (sheetrock and paint not included); and left me with NO POWER. He had me go through the whole rigamarole with filing a claim with the insurance company and everything. I called Chris from CER to give me a second opinion and explained that I couldn't afford to spend any more money on diagnostics. Chris was incredible. He offered to come over after work the same day and he checked my ground and all my wiring, with no charge for diagnostic, and said everything checks out fine then replaced the breaker and spaced them out for free and my power came right back on. He only charged me for the breaker and the labor. THAT'S HONESTY. If you're reading this review because you need an electrician, do not have any second thoughts about calling CER RIGHT NOW.

Had high hopes for this electrician but would not recommend him at all! He talks a good game - and…read moretrust me he talks too much - but the quality of his work is laughable. Had him install 8 can lights in our kitchen area. After a month and a half 5 of them had actually fallen out of the ceiling. He probably used the wrong type and/or improperly installed them. He also cut out a bigger hole than he should have for one of them (8" instead of 6") even thought he had already instaled several. We had to get a drywaller in to repair that. And then there's the huge holes he cut in the drywall to add outlets. The boxes were all crooked and we had to have them fixed. And more drywall repair than should have been necessary. The electrician who we fortunately got to replace him couldn't believe the lack of quality and felt obligated to report Jackson to the electrician board. If you need something done that will take 4 times longer than it should and likely won't be done correctly then this is your guy.

NO-SHOWED APPOINTMENT…read more I wish I could give them LESS than one star. My first clue should have been when their number was answered with "hello"! I waited a week for an appointment as they were "understaffed" that week. I was told I would be taken care of "first thing Monday morning" - actual appointment was for 9:30am. At 10:30am, no one has shown up and I have received no calls. I called the office and was told my technician called in sick over the weekend, BUT they got a sub. "If he has not shown up or called you by now - maybe he can't make it. I guess I will have to call him". After about 10 minutes Mr Olsen called back and INFORMED me that the tech was "not going to be able to make it today" and we would have to reschedule. I don't think so. I called Fisk Electric 972-466-0900 at 11am SAME DAY. They were here at the appointment time of 1pm SAME DAY. My issue was handled by 2pm SAME DAY. On time, efficient, friendly, knowledgeable and reasonable. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH OLSEN.

They isolated the problem to a faulty toggle switch with built-in dimmer slider. They didn't have an exact replacement. By fiddling wires in the wall and setting the dimmer to a certain spot they got the assembly to not continue shorting. When they left, I was missing a wall plate screw in a highly visible area. I later discovered that 1/4 of the house (different area) had no power, including the security system, as they hadn't reseated a breaker they had shut off during troubleshooting. Weeks later the furnace guy found the attic light had been left on the whole time. The Cotton bill for that minor service (with no repair) was more than my monthly pension payment.
