I politely asked the staff to remove the clearly evil man however they didn't comply and after I warned everyone calmly that I was 'ready to rumble' I was asked to leave rather than the thug that mocked me and my dying father and I didn't even have time to finish my martini before I was forcibly removed. That being said the food was actually decent and I would recommend as long as you're not a devout fan of animated canines in which case give it a miss

It a small bar with seating around you there is another little room at back of the bar if you want to eat Iv not tryed the food there so can't comment on it. There is a upstairs area but not had the chance to go up so can't comment on it. There staff is pretty friendly and helpful the beer a bit pricey they do cocktail but not had 1 yet as I'm not a cocktail person.

It appeared to me that they couldn't go a full sentence without using colourful language, all whilst never offering any apologies. One man told my friend, Clement Farnsbarns, that he would not succeed in life, claiming that he was a 'fat temp', which to be honest is quite rude and in fact a lie because Clement a) is a 46-year-old pillar of the community and b) had a summer with JP Morgan in '23 and lives in a semi-detached down Hassocks way, so who is a fat temp now? Every roll of the eyes felt like a diss on the group. The food quality was top-notch, with a great, cosy atmosphere, and I would technically recommend it. Location is okay. However, on a sour note, staff overlooked and joined in (gang mentality) when we were being antagonised and bullied for my mate Adrian 'AIDS' Droylsden's nickname. It felt extremely unjust, and he got cornered, so I did have to make the noble and compelled decision to leave the establishment quickly so that production could continue there to the evidently consistent high standards; however, I warn you. Classism wasn't dealt with well when a lady around the bar area jeered at my dear friend Hector Papageorgiou (Hellenic Hector), when a supermarket-based conversation sprang up, and she said that he seemed 'peculiarly Farmfoods'. This was followed up with her claim that he 'appeared notably, and noticeably, impoverished (as a person)'. Staff did nothing. Overall, it was a pleasant afternoon, and I would definitely recommend a visit. Just throw shade over the caution because our hurdles were truly circumstantial.

during the 6months previous to our wedding Trish & I had numerous meals Hockery Brook & decided the…read morefood was of a good standard & this was THE VENUE for our wedding reception.br /After the wedding we & our guests arrived the venue, in anticipation of a good meal,,,,, oh how wrong we were, we took our seats after a drink or two, the meals EVENTUALLY started to arrive @ prearranged place settings, apparently the soup was extremely good according to 1 guest (best man) & my Bride & I enjoyed the prawn cocktail, As for the main meal, well, that's another story, the settings came out in dribs n drabs, and cold when it did arrive, one of the so called waiting staff spilled gravy down the front of my grandson, then later as the sweets came out the same person dropped a serviette in the custard of another guest, upon removing the serviette accidentally put her thumb into the custard then straight in her mouth to remove the custard, only to repeat this little heard of custard & thumb sucking custom. when it came to the speeches & toasting they brought out the champagne, still corked as they were scared of removing them as they didn't like the BANG noise, so the best man & myself opened the bottles & the staff served the drinks, BUT ONLY AFTER it was pointed out to the LANDLADY (ANN) that she had supplied the WRONG BOTTLES..... So unless this is the kind of service you require i would definitely give it a GREAT BIG MISS

This is situated at the entrance to the Bus Station in Leigh very handy if you want a drink…read morewithout the problem of having to drive after it. Personally, I find the Big screen tv's on almost every wall irritating, but I'm sure there are many who love it. The decor is welcoming and the service good for a town centre pub. The toilets are wonderfully clean and looked after. There are some excellent deals on jugs of cocktails and on the food; unfortunately, we had already eaten before travelling to here, so didn't try it possibly on a future visit? We will definitely be returning at some point. As CAMRA members, the lack of good real ale was a little disappointing, but the John Smith's ESB, served from what looked like handpumps, was quite drinkable, even if it did closely resemble a smoothflow keg beer.
