The three us enjoyed three very different dishes. My dad has an Innovative chicken and bean salad. My brother a bbq pork quesadilla, and I enjoyed a tomato/mozzarella salad, tapas meatballs. And tapas ribs. While there was nominally South American music (Shakira) and a Cuban sandwich in the menu. That was about it. There were nachos and tapas for more of a fusion feel. This place use to be the old pooled pies shop/restaurant but closed it doors many years ago and nw reopened as a bar grill/restaurant and what a transformation they done there plenty off seats downstairs and there seating upstairs aswell or if you perfair you can sit at the bar. The staff are really nice and welcoming Iv not tryed the food yet but it smells nice when you walk in.

We were left to relax with drinks and the waiter couldn't have been lovelier. He brought us fresh popcorn as a bar snack and kept replenishing it without being asked to. The cocktail menu is fairly decent and, although I didn't have one myself, I saw plenty of other diners with them and they looked appealing.

We will definitely be returning at some point. As CAMRA members, the lack of good real ale was a little disappointing, but the John Smith's ESB, served from what looked like handpumps, was quite drinkable, even if it did closely resemble a smoothflow keg beer.
