For whatever reason cheese sauce is hard to come by in Australia, so having this chili and cheese dog was great. The Brooklyn Depot definitely lived up to its "American street food" motto. On a side note, I ordered my French fries with a side of ranch, and the American server asked me where I was from. When I replied that I'm from Michigan, she said only people from the States order ranch with their fries, and we commiserated about our shared love of ranch. Haha. She also didn't charge me for the ranch. Love this place. The only somewhat negative thing I'll say is they don't take reservations, and we had to wait almost a half an hour to get seated. But the food is worth the wait. Wish they had more beers on tap but considering they just opened, hopefully maybe in the future that will change.

Place looked impressive, they have a prohibition theme going on and some staff were dressed in that era. I must say, they looked very stylish. A smiling and very personable Abigail took our coffee orders and the charming Shannon took our food requests. Kudos to the flair and the warm interaction they both had. Nothing was troublesome and the food arrived in less then 10 minutes. Wow. I would definitely come here again; especially after Abigail took the time to talk about the Loose Moose like it was her own business. The young lady has passion and it's so obvious she loves what she does. The cocktail menu was pretty phenomenal and those that are interested there're about 80 varieties of whiskey! It was not thick like a regular ice cream based shake. I left nearly the entire thing on the table after having one taste. The fries were also a disappointment. Definitely don't expect them to taste like cheese fries back home. They simply had a cheesy sauce resembling nacho cheese instead of having melted cheese. Would go back for a standard burger and shake. Price was reasonable but I also have a little bit of an issue in paying nearly $15 for a burger and you still have to buy fries or something on the side. If I could, I would probably give Easy Street 3 1/2 stars but because I can't, I will round it up to 4 base on the great service.
