Dropped my car off after an accident. The insurance company took forever to send out an adjuster to determine if it was a loss or not. It was, I went to get my car back since I owner retained it, and they wouldn't give it back until the nearly $2,000 bill was paid. They charge you $100 a day to even have the car on the property. Not to mentioned they ruined my fender (which wasn't damaged in the accident) while my car sat there. They did take $400 off of my "bill" for that damage. The people are pleasant enough, but $100 a day for doing nothing? Come on.... read more

A couple years ago I was in an accident in which my car was rear ended. Martins took great. Are of me and did a wonderful job on the repair. But when they delivered the car I noticed a small hole where it appears the car had into something. I called Martins and took the car back in. They inspected photos from before the repair and confirmed that the hold had not been there when it was dropped off. They took full responsibility, shuttled me home, ordered, painted and replaced the bumper in a day or two and dropped the car back off to me when it was complete. So I drive a Mazda speed and got into in incident where the bumpers were damaged and tore off, my insurance sent me here and it was a horrible experience . My front bumper wasn't even place properly and sticks out from the headlight a lot. The rear bumper I had to go back twice to get it fixed after getting it returned come to find out they fixed the bumper with glue and wasn't done professionally . I recently was hit on my passenger door while parked and was recommended by my insurance and by a few people to come here to get an estimate of of the damage. It made it easy that it was in a pretty central location in Orem and I was able to find it easily l, I was also really glad they had a little bit of a better schedule that works even if you work a 9-5 schedule. I immediately was helped and told to fill out a simple form, a few other people got there at the same time, we filled out our forms and waited about 7 minutes for an employee to come out. Rick came out and looked at my car and wrote some notes and took pictures all around the car. I then was seated again and waited about 15 minutes for Rick to come back out and give me my estimate. Overall it took about 20-30 minutes for the whole thing. Rick at the end gave me his card and told me to call him when we want to get things started. He was really helpful and friendly. Most recently, I entrusted them with my beloved Ram 1500. They replaced my front bumper and matched the paint perfectly. Then they detailed the truck! Why isn't there a higher rating then 5 Stars!?!?!? Went to Martins with my tired impatient children expecting a long drawn out visit (because that's how it usually goes at these places). I was immediately greeted with a friendly smile who went to work on helping me and my children get comfortable comfortable (snacks, drinks, and their favorite show! I forgot where I was for a minute!). I met one of the owners, Thiago, who isn't out playing golf - he is available and actively involved everyday (another IMPRESSED moment). He genuinely cares about each and every person that walks in the door. I met quite a few people during my visit and everyone was the same. The quality was way above what I expected. Their work is of the highest quality, using the state of art equipment and they work FAST. I knew my car was going to be an issue and they never once seemed annoyed or irritated. AVOID AT ALL COST! There are plenty of body shops and this one has the big expensive building on state for a reason - they will do anything to take your money. I was told 3 days for my repair - they took 6. I was told to come pick up my vehicle 3 times - was finally ready the last trip I made. They kept me in a rental over a holiday weekend because they kept delaying the repair, lied to the insurer and the CC company saying the vehicle was ready. Truth is, I waited around at my office until late Fri (wanted to leave early) and went to pick up my car at 6pm. It wasn't ready so they asked me to come back Mon. I made it very clear the insurer was only paying for 3 days of rental insurance. Long story... in the end our car was hit, Martin's delayed the repair and I'm stuck with a $150 rental car bill. They have lied about the situation and left a sour taste in my mouth. read more

Their work is ok but their customer service is pretty lousy. They gave me three deadlines and all three came and went and they never called. I had to call them every time to figure out what was going on. They told me when I picked it up that they had ordered the wrong bumper but didn't realize it until after they had painted it. What they told me would take 4 days, ended up taking 13. I wouldn't go back. I'm upset they asked me to pay full price. read more

Did not repair my car properly. I asked that they check the front end alignment and align it. They refused, two front tires were worn down and almost blew out within a couple of weeks. I replaced the tires and alignment was $60 and 20 minutes to adjust at Les Schwab. Marin's refused to reimburse anything they don't deserve to be in business. read more

Had an absolutely awful experience here. My car was promptly scheduled but came out of the shop with tape marks all over the door frame. They immediately took it back in the shop to fix it. Then, when I got it home, the passenger air bag light came on. I called and was told to bring it back. I immediately brought it back. They did whatever they did and then returned the car. I drove it no more than 20 feet and the light came back on! I called again. I was told the car would need to go to the dealership. They did offer to get me a rental- but I just drove it down to the dealership myself. It took them 10 minutes to fix it. (Shouldn't the collision repair shop know this up front?) Then, my husband took a good look at the repair work. He took it back (yet again) because there were spots that were still chipped, the black part on the door still was not clean and there was rippling in the paint work. They took the again for another day and finally, finally the car was right. To their credit- one person told my husband "This car should never have left the shop." I have previously had a good experience with this collision repair shop, about 3 years ago. They are local and approved by State Farm. But this was such a bad experience that I will NEVER go there again. I would rather drive to another town. read more

This place does a good job of repairing any damage to your car. The reason why I'm only giving two stars is because they fixed our headlight after an accident, but when the bulb they replaced burned out only a few months later they told us that to just go buy a new one and that they don't cover anything like that after they fix it. The other side's bulb (which is original still) has been going strong for 6+ years, which has made me doubt the quality of the bulb they gave us. They do a good job fixing your car, but it's disappointing that they don't take any responsibility after. read more

They were two days late and when i finally got my car back the miles were up and the average mpg on my current tank was displayed below 15, aka someone was racing the hell out of it or something cause it's always above 23, and now my car seems to be driving funny. Already just driving around town the mpg is increasing by the minute, so they were driving it REALLY bad. But there's no real way to prove it so i just have to live with it. These guys are good! My garage door malfunctioned and closed on the spoiler of my brand new Tesla S and left some deep scratches. I was worried that they could not match the paint etc. The car came back I think prettier than before. Not a scratch or swirl and matched perfectly. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP!! I was in the insurance claims industry for 21 years, so believe me when I say that I know all of the shops in town. Martin's has a reputation with every insurance adjuster in the business as being absolutely the worst shop to deal with, by far. They have to pay for that big fancy building they've got somehow, and it is by lying and cheating on everything. DO NOT TRUST THEM!! If my car got hit in front of Martin's parking lot, I would still tow the car someplace else for repairs rather than use them! Excellent service. You can't tell at all that my bumper was replaced. They did a really good job blending the paint in. The only downside was that it took about 3 weeks to get in and my car was in the shop for over a week. ( was a bad accident and it was over thanksgiving) read more

Completion date went from Thursday to Friday to Monday to Wednesday to Thursday. They never bothered to call when they pushed back the completion date. Makes it difficult when borrowing/renting a car. When asked why they didn't call, they said "we called and talked to your husband at 12:07 today"... Ya, that never happened. When my husband called to see what number they called, we were told the person handling our repair wasn't available, but he'd make sure he called later that day or in the morning.... ya, that never happened either. When picking up my car, they didn't offer a summary of work completed. I asked for it, and they said it wasn't available, but that I should already have it. Eventually I got it, and I asked why it took an extra week, and what the cause of the extra $700 of work was. They could only explain work that was already on the original work order (the cost of these line items was higher on the final bill than original estimate) and that they had to repaint a section they messed up the first time. In the end, the work was done well, but the customer service and speed was miserable. read more

SEVERAL MONTHS BACK I WENT TO MARTIN'S TO GET MY CAR PAINTED IN 3-4 AREAS AND THEY PROMISED ME A DATE AND DAY. IT TOOK A WEEK LONGER. I WENT TO PICK IT UP AND THERE WAS TWO LARGE AREAS THEY MISSED. Then they said sorry it would be at least a week longer. They acted like this is normal and did not seem to care. I went back on the day they stated after calling first to make sure it was ready. I arrived and it took them 20mins to find my car. I still can't believe they had not done all the work requested. They still wanted me to pay and told me to bring it back in a week so I paid for the work done. A month after they had never called me back I called and they said the manager would call me back. He never did. I called and complained and they said they would get back to me and where sorry. Never a follow up call. Finally several months after this call I requested help on their website never one thing was done. They have my money and my car was never done right and no follow up. They do not care. Do not go their it could happen to you too. Boy I have experienced much better read more
