Took home and popped it into the oven to warm up ready for family. How easy for us to set the table with hot food! And the best was when everyone was complementing us on the quality of food. I called to order the cake a week in advanced and was given many options to choose from. I ended up going with basic chocolate and Bavarian cream to please everyone. I confirmed the order and set a pickup time. When I went to pick up I was greeted politely and shown the cake before they boxed it up and sent it on it's way with me. I didn't ask for anything other than it say happy birthday mom and include the color purple. It was decorated simply and tastefully! Now for the best part, the eating of the cake! The cake is as light as air but moist and full of flavor, and the icing is the perfect amount of sweetness. It's not hard to overindulge in another piece! We will continue to order cakes from here for years to come and I recommend you do too!

There were no less then four ice sculptures (one was an ice luge), open bar, shrimp cocktails, cheese display, the best dam clam chowder ever, filet mignon in a fig sauce, and desserts as far as the eye could see. I was simply amazed by the quality of the food and innovative set design. If this is truly the right company, then you need to post pics of that event on your website and not the family-picinic/fire hall wedding reception shots you currently have up. You guys really outdid yourselves and you might be a strong contender for catering my wedding reception.

Pre-wedding: Make sure you read their contract carefully. They charge extra to serve cake and require you to tell them this, so we chose to box our cake and send it home as a favor with our guests (and our guests have raved about it!). Definitely do a food tasting because they give you all the food you'd like to try plus the top tier of a wedding cake to take home and enjoy. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS. Day-of: I have nothing but good things to say. From the moment we arrived (30 minutes early, mind you) they took the bridal party to an out of the way room where we were served appetizers and brought drinks. My husband and I were treated like royalty. The event manager was wonderful and very fun. His staff were professional and did not get in the way at all. Food was delicious and the cake was beautiful and very good. They sent the top tier of the cake home (with my parents). They do all of the decorating and set-up/tear-down for you and include centerpieces in their price. As long as you read your contract and know what you're getting, you should not have any issues. The banquet manager was nothing but accomodating. We have heard nothing but good things since our wedding- people still talk about how good the food was! The only issue is parking, but you can set up a shuttle for your guests through a hotel to eleviate that issue.

She is one of the most hard working, responsive, organized, detail oriented people I have encountered. She made she everything went off without a hitch. She even handled an issue with our DJ the day of so we didn't have to. Aside from her amazing coordination, her food is delicious. Our guests are still talking about it. Hire her and her team--you will not regret it.

Then I found 2 Ladies and a Gentlemen. Everyone there is so nice and accommodating. They are genuine people who I felt truly cared about our wedding day and making it perfect. Since I live out of state my mom did a lot of the communicating with them, and she always said nothing but positive things. And during the wedding all of the staff was so great, making sure everything was perfect. They gave us a super fair quote and let my mom have a taste testing before we gave a deposit. This may sound crazy, but some caterers wanted a deposit before you tasted their food! Crazy right?! At the first tasting my mom said everything was amazing, so we finally had our caterer. On my next trip home I did a taste testing too. They gave me soooo much food to try. Everything was good, especially the breaded chicken. I was a little hesitant having breaded chicken cause it sometimes gets soggy but not theirs, it was so good!!! They also fit in my request to have pirogies (which were also delicious) They also catered the bridal party's lunch and brunch the next day. Their chicken salad sandwiches on croissants are seriously out of this world. And the mac and cheese. I could go on and on. If you are thinking about using 2 Ladies and a Gentlemen for any catering needs, book them, you will not regret it!
