NEVER LET THE BALD GUY WITH TATTOOS AND THE LONG GREASY BEARD CUT YOUR HAIR. Worst haircut of my life. He left lines in my fade, my neck line was far from straight, I asked him to take a QUARTER INCH OF THE TOP and he took off about 2 inches. He didn't even use scissors to cut the top, he used the freaking trimmer! I've never had anyone do that before. I was shocked because he cut my hair once before and it looked really good. This time was the complete opposite. I don't know if he was rushing because it was 5:00 and they close at 6:00, but the whole time he was cutting my hair he was making perverted sexual jokes with me while his girlfriend was sitting right next to me! Then he had the nerve to ask me if I like it. Since I'm nice I said yes, and still proceed to tip!!!! I definitely shouldn't have though. As soon as I left I went to a barber shop in Monroe so they could fix the massacre this man left on my head. I will NEVER step foot in Martins Barber shop ever again. This dude needs to be fired from cutting hair. An absolute disgrace to the business. read more

Recently had to find a new barber as mine retired after 50 years. I am kind of picky on how my hair gets cut even though I don't have much left! I like it to look neat and proper. I tried Martin's as part of my "search" and have gladly found my new barbershop! It looks and feels like a barbershop should feel. The barber (Rick I believe was his name) was great. He knew exactly what I wanted done, did it great and to top it off, the hot shaving cream neck shave was excellent. If you have been to a real barber, you know that the use of clippers is an art and only real barbers use shaving cream and a straight razor on the neck. Glad to have found these guys and glad to become a regular! read more
