THEY LOST MY WEDDING DRESS! DO NOT GO HERE! If I could give zero stars I would. I dropped off my wedding dress in September 2024 and was told it would be done in December 2024. I still have not received it. The woman that works there just says "I don't know". She finally gave me the number to the corporate office and I spoke to Michelle. She assured me my wedding dress was not lost it is just taking longer. I told her that I want to know where it is and have it shipped back even if it is not clean. She told me I would get a call the next day and have not heard from her. I just tried to call and she did not answer and her voicemail box is full. Been waiting 5 months to get my daughter's wedding gown back. Apparently all wedding gowns are shipped to New York for cleaning and boxing. Called twice and no one could tell me when to expect this gown back from New York. I asked to have someone call NY and get a date as to when the gown will be delivered. Waiting on a call back. Horrible expeirence. My jacket looks just as dirty (stains, dog fur and hair all over it) as before it came in and I still paid $23 to have it cleaned! They literally pulled out a lint roller to clean it. Thanks I can do that at home. so pointless. They originally charged me more than that and when I questioned it the lady finally looked it up and couldn't figure out why I was charged more. Don't trust these people. read more

If I could give 0 stars that would be my rating. We took my daughters choir dress in for alterations 2 weeks prior to her performance. I had to have her change into the dress and there are NO DRESSING ROOMS! I had to have her change behind a row of clothes as grown men are walking in and out the front doors 10' away. Then when she stood on the podium to mark alteration point around the bottom, I had to get down on their dirty carpet and pin the points myself. They said "we don't do that". But you provide alteration services? Luckily I know what I'm doing, but why is the customer more qualified for this than the employees who work here? We arrived a week later for the scheduled pick-up and were told it wasn't there. We were able to pick it up 3 days later JUST IN TIME for the event. It's not the delay in pick-up that bothered me, it was the unprofessional staff, the way they seemed uninterested in helping us, and we felt like we were a burden instead of treated with common courtesy. I've seen Martinizing here on the corner of the Eagle and McMillen corner for years. We are not dry cleaner folks since my wife is a professional with the iron and ironing board. ( lucky me ). We bought these suede/ leather couches at RC Wiley. At the time, we thought it was a good idea but if I had a DeLorean or a TARDIS I would go back in time and buy something else. That's another story for another time. So here's why I found myself at Martinizing, with the influx of visitors for Turkey day, one of the couch cushion's cover got thrashed. The cover itself smelt like gym socks, there was a tear on the back and the zipper was busted. Fortunately, the dumpster fire was contained to one cushion. Even to the moment that I write this review, I am not sure how this extensive damage happened to this one cushion, but I was indeed in need of emergency services. I entered the little store which seems to always have the parking spots in front of the store full. Maybe it's because the dry cleaners share the parking with Jamba and UPS. So keep in mind that you may have to trek over to bring your goods to Martinizing. Once inside, I was greeted by a friendly lady who very genuine and sweet. I can't remember her name but I explained the situation and she let me know that she had to a call another lady in regards to a quote. No problem since I knew that this couch cushion's cover was on life support. She informed that the cost could be anywhere from 7 to 20 bucks. I was impressed and not offended by the wide range. She seemed to be ready to defend the pricing but I am simply not that guy and she was relieved. It's work that I can't do and couch cushion cover was under FEMA's damage relief. I told her to call me when it's ready. She told me that maybe a week. I said ok and got one of those famous dry cleaner slips and put it in my wallet. It was like an achievement unlocked as I had not done that before. Anywho, the next day I get a call from a Boise number that I didn't recognize. I thought maybe it was Karen or Ophelia asking me if I wanted to join them on a beer scavenger hunt so answered. It wasn't Ophelia or Karen but the lady from Martinizing. She told me that the cover was ready and her little elves were able to save the it for 10 bucks. Holy Sheets!!! I brought it home and put the cover back on the cushion. While 1 Hour Martinizing maybe be great dry cleaners, they saved the bacon for us in regards to the couch cushion cover and for that they earned 5 stars. read more

When I drop my dry cleaning off, I want to have confidence in the staff to get it done by the date it is promised. This dry cleaner couldn't live up to that promise. Instead, I had to drive to their cleaning location and pickup my shirts that were more wrinkled than when I dropped them off. I don't recommend anyone utilize the services at this business. read more

This is my first experience with this Dry Cleaners and I took in a silk Blouse and got it back with a Customer Notice that stated it should be wet cleaned and they needed my approval before proceeding. I didn't authorize anything and they said sorry this is the best that can be done without causing damage to the garment. it had 5 stains on it that weren't there before I took it in, one marked that was black and oily that wasn't there before I took it in! I have given this company every opportunity to resolve this with me in private to no avail. And yes, I opened a YELP account just for this review because it was absolutely THE worst quality and service I've ever experienced. I have been trying to get a status on my now 2 week overdue dry cleaning order. No one has been able to give me answers as to where it is, what the hold up is, or how much longer it will take. I've contacted the staff at the store (in person and by phone) and the people at the plant - who a customer should not have to contact directly - with no results or follow through on their promise to "get back to me". I'm beginning to think my garment is ruined and no one wants to take responsibility. This lack of accountability is unacceptable, not only because I have had to find an alternate outfit for the earmarked event it was being cleaned for, but it was also part of a larger order which came back looking like it was pressed and hung by 6-year olds. The "MIA" piece was one I sent back for redo because it came back with dye on the collar that wasn't there when I first brought it in (it was brand new). Take your precious clothes elsewhere people. This company obviously does not take pride in what they do, or appreciate the business. I just moved to the area and decided to give them a try...first and last time. read more
