They ruined my dress and tried to blame me saying it's old. It's not old and been dry cleaned once prior. They won't pay me to replace the dress, they tell me when I bring things it's an "at my own risk". Never Again will I go here. read more

Brought my daughter's JROTC uniform here to get cleaned. Was a little annoyed that their advertised in by 9 and out by 5 promise couldn't happen because they were "too busy." I was lucky to have a coupon that saved me a little but still had to pay $24 for 3 pieces that took 2.5 days to get back. I don't know if I would try them again, especially if I need something fast. read more

I took 11 shirts to get clean. Nine of them came back with stains. Took some in a second time to get those stains removed, they said it was soap residue left from the laundry and then pressing. Came back a second time to pick some up the shirts were no better. And this time they're telling me that it's rust stains from the iron when they pressed the shirt. I told them is unacceptable and the shirt still are clean, they responded by telling me sisters are clean it's just a little less around the sleeves. Very unprofessional. Very unhelpful. I will never be going back. I asked for a refund. She said they are clean and will not Refund me because they're clean. read more

I was a regular customer; no more. Too many run ins with abrupt and rude staff. One lady argued with me over how they have been doing my laundry; she threw up her hands said whatever and walked away from me. Spending $150 per month I expect better service. The younger woman is nice and always greeted me by name and the older woman who does alterations is nice too. Why 2 stars? Because they do clean well. They cannot do light starch though...only none or cardboard. Also a little pricey and no loyalty pricing. Lastly, and this actually bothered me a lot...I would walk in and smell smoke. They smoke out back but leave the door open so when you walk in the front it blows through he whole place. Handling other people's clothes they should be more sensitive to that. read more

Worst place ever. I had a $300 two piece ivory suit that I only wore one time. I dropped off the jacket to be cleaned and when I picked it up, it was this awful tan ugly color. When I brought it to their attention they proceeded to tell me that's how I dropped it off. I returned later that day with the pants to the suit , to prove to them, that's not the original color. Not to mention they also left water stains in my jacket. When they tried to get the water stains out, the machine they used left grease spots on my jacket. So I started to look up the process on how dry cleaning works and as it turns out they do have water in the machines that clean the clothes and they are suppose to change it out. However they dont , so you can guess it right they clean our clothes and everyone else's in the same water as farmer Johns dirty shirt water. They refused to pay for the damages and my suit was total ruined. read more

Silly me for coming here b/c I had a 30% off coupon. Brought our comforter here, along with some other items, to get cleaned during the summer since we don't really miss it. I first got ticked b/c when I went to pick everything up, they didn't give me the 30% off. They said that the coupon didn't apply to household goods. (If this is the case, why didn't the young woman taking my order and coupon initially tell me this BEFORE I left my items?) I recall the coupon saying it was for drycleaning, which is what I had done. I don't remember there being any exclusions listed on it. Can't say for sure b/c they destroyed the coupon so I couldn't refer back to it. We didn't need the comforter right away since it was still hot out, so I set it aside to air out. Once it got cool enough to put back on our bed, I noticed that they didn't even get the stains out! There are still water lines in two spots. My fault for not checking right away, but I've never had a problem with stain removal at any drycleaners. Lesson learned. I will bring our drycleaning elsewhere, even if it means paying more. read more

DON'T TAKE YOUR CLOTHES HERE IF YOU NEED THEM CLEAN AND SMELLING GOOD. Got a dress cleaned and they did fix a small seam. I will give them that, but the cleaning was not to par. My dress now smells lile a dirty dog. I asked for a discount. None was offered. I don't even think they cleaned it. It had the same exact wrinkles as when I dropped it off. Went to wear a blouse dry cleaned 2 months ago. Noticed it was terribly pressed and had black smudges like it was dropped maybe. Took it, and 9 other pieces to be cleaned. Asked for them to rewash complimentary and I would of course pay for my other nine. They refused. Picked my clothes back up and went to Club Cleaners. Bad move Martinizing. Unfortunately I can't leave a zero star review. I took about 6 button-down shirts to this location to be cleaned/pressed. When I picked them up each shirt had a giant rounded-rectangle shape on the stomach-area of the shirt. I asked what that was as it was clearly pressed very hard into the shirt and the response I got was "it's a buckmark" (not sure if that's the correct way to spell that). They informed me that their machine makes that mark when it gets pressed unless the customer specifies they don't want it. I said "Who would want that? It'll show even if I tuck it in!" They told me that I had to specify that I didn't want the buckmark to show when I drop it off and it's an extra $0.25 or $0.50 extra per shirt (or something like that). I asked the lady how I'm supposed to know that my shirts are going to come out like that and she said "All our customers who come here know." Instead of leaving it there for them to screw up again I took it to Jones and luckily they were able to salvage most of the shirts. In addition to the notorious "buckmark" they pressed the collars so hard 2 of the shirts were damaged and couldn't be saved. Had to donate them. I've never experienced customer service this bad in my life. I've been meaning to write a review for a while but I forgot and never got around to it. Clearly these employees don't care at all about customers. Rude staff and terrible service. Really pathetic. read more

On December 27, 2018, I took a brand new white shirt, still in the Macy's bag and a suit to this Martinizing store at Nees and Willow in Clovis. I had been doing business with this store for 17 years. I had been doing business with the former manager 30 years. When I arrived with my cleaning and the new shirt, the counter lady said the shirt should be starched and laundered for best results and added it cost no more. I picked up the shirt and suit at the cleaners on the following Saturday. The shirt was folded to my surprise. It was in a stapled paper bag. I transported all to Palm Desert where we were attending a New Years eve dinner / dance. When I took the shirt out of the bag it was totally wrinkled not from pressing, but it apparently had never been pressed or laundered. It was so wrinkled I had to take it off and iron it myself. When I returned from the trip I contacted the store and told the same lady who had waited on me. She explained that it goes through an auto pressing machine. I was getting nowhere with her and she gave me to a man who spoke so fast he was difficult to understand. I sent him the pictures of me and the shirt. He was being defensive. I was getting nowhere with him. I said I will not be back after 17 years of going to this store. His reply,"OK". I will never go there again and would not trust my clothing there again. The store has changed a lot over the years. I have pictures of the shirt. reading the other complaints on this page I can see it's the same staff. read more

They are nice people but if you have a nice and elegant dress do not take it to this location. I have tried them twice. Once for my wedding dress and other time for my evening dress. They could not press them correctly. They charged me for it and said sorry we can not press it. They nice but it did not help me when they charged me and I had to bring my dress home and press it my self. What it upset me was that I press my dress with regular iron better then what they did. read more

This was my second time using this dry cleaning facility and I take in my fiancés shirt to get pressed. I get it back and there is a 12 inch wide pressed mark across horizontally on the front of the shirt. I take it back and they inform me it's a 35 cent EXTRA charge to get a "clamp mark" removed. To make sure there aren't clamp marks?....... So, I said okay and had to re-pay to get the shirt pressed for the second time. I get the shirt back for the second time and look at it at the store this time to make sure it is out. Well, this time there is a rustic / burn look where the spot was. I tell them this is ridiculous and to do it again, this shouldn't be happening. I leave it with them and return the next day to my shirt now having the same "clamp mark" as it did before. This was a 4 day process and A $65 dress shirt that is now ruined. I will never go there again and the staff didn't seem concerned that they ruined my shirt. I am extremely disappointed that they do this for a living and don't care when they ruin someone's belongings. read more
