I'm old school, I believe that you should get good service and quality customer care. I dropped off one (1) item to be cleaned. The item was to be picked up the following day at 5:00 pm. I went at 4:30 pm. I was told, no the tag states your item won't be ready until 5:00 pm. "If I had paid an additional $2.00 service fee then I would be allowed to pick up my item earlier than stated on the service tag. I tried to explain my husband dropped off the item & he probably didn't realize this. Didn't matter she said, we have it posted above on the walls. Yes the signs are posted, but come on, it's only a half hour early, 30 minutes early....no way, two bucks or two dollars is two dollars... Well so is customer service in my opinion. So customer care. Keep your two dollars, and I hope people will figure out that human kindness goes a lot further than two bucks. read more

had a very disappointing experience with Sterling Cleaners--twice. About a year ago, I brought in my white habit and hat to be cleaned. When I picked them up, they had removed the plastic shaper from my hat and lost it. No effort was made to replace it or accommodate the mistake, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, I decided to give them another chance this year (2026) since I have an important event coming up next week. I brought in the same white dress and hat again. When I picked up my dress today and got home, I was shocked--it looked like it hadn't even been properly cleaned. There were visible stains all over it, and the fabric looked dingy. I ended up soaking the dress myself in OxiClean, and all the stains came out, leaving it bright white again. That tells me the job should have been done correctly in the first place. Overall, I'm very disappointed with the quality of service and lack of care. I won't be returning! read more

Warning to anyone considering this business I've used this place a few times because it's close, but the service was never great. Today was the worst experience yet. I brought in my Banana Republic long coat, and when I picked it up, it was completely ruined. The fabric is wrinkled, stuck together, and looks nothing like before. Even worse, I believe they switched my coat. Mine had a Banana Republic label on the collar, but the one they gave me only has a generic "Made in China" tag. When I asked about it, the owner claimed she followed the care instructions--but the label clearly says DO NOT dry clean. She refused to explain what process she used and refused to compensate me for the damage. To top it off, I was harassed by another customer while the owner encouraged him and even called the police. Completely unprofessional behavior. This business is rude, dishonest, and unprofessional. In my opinion, they damaged my coat and kept my original one. If you value your clothes, stay away from this place. read more

They damaged 2 limited Micheal kors sweaters that was 190$ each they had inc all over them . Then offered to buy the wrong sweaters (used) off eBay that (was not) my size. There is a slim tall lady that works there that tried to get under my skin so she can have the right to turn me away but I didnt fall for it. the owner i think his name was Richard didn't even wanna pay half for my sweaters that they damaged. My wife dropped off a top for cleaning. When she went to pick it up, she was told not ready because there was a stain on it. My wife told them that there was no stain on the item when she dropped it off. She was then told that the item was missing. My wife called and left a message for the owner, Richard Morgan, the following Monday. He never returned her call. Employees never located the item, nor was it returned by a customer if it was mistakenly given to them. After three weeks, the store decided to pay us out the value of the item. While disappointing, the response from Desiree was worse. We told her we wouldn't be returning, after years of patronage, and she said "It's ok, we lose you, but we get new customers all the time. We'll be ok." This is the worst response any employee can give to a dissatisfied customer, and confirms our decision to never return to Sterling. I told the employee that we may be one customer, but we'll make sure others know how they really see their longtime customers The owner apparently doesn't care when items "go missing," nor do the employees care when people decide to stop trusting their business with clothing that requires special handling. We'll spend our money at a dry cleaner who does. read more

Very professional, they finished the job early. We had two other shops cancel on us last minute but Sterling Cleaners was able to do an amazing job in less time. We were not charged for any rush charges and they gave our school a price break. We had graduation gowns that needed pressing and we were happy with the results. I had to carry them in the heavy rain and had no problem with it. No gown was damaged because of the great care in their packaging. We will be back for future dry cleaning and pressing services. They WILL STEAL your items. Do not take anything here. They will give you the run around until their 30 day policy is up and claim they donated it. If you call to complain or look for a resolution after two phone calls they will call the police and claim you are harassing them. I have never had any interaction like this before and it creates huge suspicion that this is not an accident for the irate response. I first moved on and don't think much of it but after being contacted by a Fresno detective hearing the lies that were told to them I will now seek legal action. After speaking with friends in the area I have learned they also have had the same issues and a few other comments mention the same dirty business practice. Very friendly folks who work there and great prices compared to other cleaners. I was worried to try another cleaners since the one I was a regular at had closed down but after I dropped off a few slacks and an older pea coat with lint and closet odor, it's safe to say that they did a phenomenal job. The odor on my coat was gone, as was the lint. The creases on my slacks were crisp as well. Oh, and it was ready next day. I am amazed by Sterling's turnaround. Silk blouse + trousers + wool jacket = under $10 by 5pm the next day. Love the numbers. BUT BUT BUT, the jacket's zipper almost got jacked. The zipper has two zipper pulls so that the bottom zipper can open up. When I came home, I noticed that the zipper pulls were forced up the zipper so that the teeth were mismatched. Fortunately, the zippers were YKK, so my husband was able to pull the zipper pulls to align the teeth. I was relieve that the jacket was not ruined... It's one of my faves! Will I go back to Sterling? Sure. I like the prices and turnaround a lot. However, the holy grail pieces that might get jacked-- let's not risk ruining them via express cleaning. fyi you must prepay when you drop off your clothing. read more

My daughter recommended them to me. I was going to another cleaners and paying probably twice the price that Sterling charges for cleaning. They are quick (next day after 2:00pm), so far they have done a great job on my clothes. This week there was a guy in front of me that was picking up a whole lot of shirts, pants, etc. although he paid about $100 for his cleaning the amount of clothes he had cleaned was tremendous. He was also dropping off about the same amount. Very reasonable on their prices, they were about half of what I had been spending at my former cleaners which is down the street. Their even closer than my former cleaners. I could kick myself for not going there sooner. Staff are very friendly. read more

Have been using this business for years. About two years ago I dropped off some shirts and went back the next day to pick them up but was told they weren't ready which they usually are the next day. Went back the next day to be told they were not ready and the next day the same thing. I asked for the manager or the owner to call me which he did and he told me they had made a mistake and spilled bleach on my shirt damaging it. So I was lied to a couple of different times and he eventually paid me for my shirt. I gave them another shot and everything was good until two weeks ago when I went to pick up my work clothes and three pairs of jeans which I did not get. I asked for my pants and was told they don't recall me bringing pants in but their computer system shows otherwise. Well here we go again. I call them and they tell me they have my pants so I go to pick them up only to find out they are not my pants. Three pairs of pants were given to me that did not belong to me. Sorry to say but this business is not good. Now I am out three pairs of pants and the immediate response is how much are they worth? AVOID THIS BUSINESS IF YOU CAN or if you don't mind having stuff damaged and lost. Not to mention the customer in front of me reported missing items. Once is a mistake; two times is a habit. Lots of professional uniforms in there so hopefully people find other places to take their clothing items before they lose their work uniforms. Shame FYI. I brought a suit with a couple dress pants that needed to be cleaned. The suit had some glue residue from a name tag I had worn. I wasn't sure if they would be able to remove it but I brought it in anyways. In 24 hours I had my clothes back in hand, and the glue mark was removed! They did a great job. A few weeks ago, I dropped off a WWII Navy blanket that my now-deceased Dad had used as a submariner in the South Pacific, 1944-45. I had discovered this 73-yr-old blanket in mint condition in the attic -- after both Dad & Mom had passed. Most importantly, I had noticed my dad had written his name on this blanket, and the writing was still very clear. Obviously, a very dear memento for me to keep. When I dropped off the heavy wool blanket at Sterling, I asked the clerk to handle w/ care, as I wanted Dad's handwriting & his name on the blanket preserved. I just picked up the blanket. I was told that the owner Richard handled it himself. Thank you, Richard, for taking immaculate care of Dad's Navy blanket from his submarine days on the USS Moray. Means the world to me. read more
