They charged me $44 and sent me on my way. As soon as I got home (literally one block away), the tire was already low. Checked again that night -- almost flat. I did a bubble test myself and, unsurprisingly, there was still a leak. I called and spoke with the store manager, Matt, who told me not to "lose sleep" over $44. That's pretty funny coming from a place that probably brings in millions a year -- and even funnier given that the $44 refund wasn't even coming out of his paycheck. So why was he so defensive about it? Instead of just fixing the issue, he suggested I "might've run over a nail" in the one-block drive home and said I'd have to wait until Monday so he could "speak to the service manager." Even after all that back-and-forth, Matt ended up approving the refund himself -- so what was all the stalling for? Oh, and here's the bonus round: the tech thought he lost the valve stem cap, so instead of saying something, he stole one off the back tire and hoped I wouldn't notice. Spoiler alert: I had the original cap at home the whole time. Bottom line: I paid for a job that wasn't done, got talked down to by the manager, and had parts quietly swapped off the rest of my equipment. If this is how they treat customers over $44 and a leaky tire, I can only imagine how bad it gets when the stakes are higher. I won't be back -- and if you value your time, money, or valve stem caps, I'd suggest finding another shop too.

They don't deliver to my area, so I decided to stop in. Their showroom is really nice and impressive, lots of accessories too! The sales people at the counter were knowledgeable about the stove I use and what would be a good pellet to burn with it. Their prices are extremely competitive. Way better than the box stores and the local hardware stores. They also have higher quality pellets. They store their pellets in an indoor warehouse around back. When I purchased the pellets up front, I drove around the back and they had them on a forklift ready to go and helped me load them. Highly recommend the trip from Lancaster if you're getting fed up with crappy pellets from TSC and the ridiculous prices out at JB Hostetter's!

About 2 years ago, my gf and I purchased a half cow from a local farm. I went to lowes.com, and ordered a chest freezer. Was told it would be here in 2 weeks, perfect because the cow was ready for pickup in 4 weeks. Lowe's kept delaying and delaying, and finally I called them to ask about it, and they told me it was out of stock and they didn't know when it would be in. In anger, I cancelled..... then realized I needed to pick up a half cow worth of beef in 3 days. I called EVERY BIG BOX and no one had anything in stock that fit our needs.... I called Kasper (sad enough they are less than a quarter mile from our home) and they were able to get me THE freezer I ordered form Lowe's originally, at the same price, and next day delivery. Had it delivered by a manager/owner type and was so happy with the situation that I promised to always use them ... Fast forward to this spring, my dryer and washer AND dishwasher were all starting to go. I shopped around and I forgot about Kasper because I was really looking for no interest financing and didn't think a local shop would do it. Ordered all my items at Best Buy with the help of a salesman and was promised Thursday AM between 8-10 AM delivery. I worked second shift that night, and thought "ok perfect I don't start until 1, so worst case scenario if they run a little late, I'll be OK"... come 12:30 no phone call, no nothing from Best Buy. I called the store and was told that they got delayed and it wouldn't be delivered until after dinner. I said I would call and reschedule . I worked the next few days without calling back and the more I thought about it, the more angry I got... I cancelled and wound up during a walk one day stopping in to Kasper. Not only did they offer 12 months interest free financing, they also had better products in my opinion. I wound up spending $150 more per unit, but getting much nicer products for the laundry room, and the install of the dishwasher took about 2 hours longer than they expected due to the poor install a prior owner of the house did on this dishwasher, but no extra charges, no attitude, just great service. Long story short, if you need appliances, check out Kasper, you will not be disappointed. These guys are awesome to deal with, and this time, I mean it, I will not order from anywhere else.
