Do yourself a favor and find a different company! She didn't do anything I asked for and she ruined my daughter's party.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel it's important to share my experience. Unfortunately, what was delivered for my wedding day was not what we had agreed upon, and I was left feeling very disappointed. I am very disappointed with what she did for my wedding. It was not what I wanted and not what we had been discussing for an entire YEAR. Instead of bringing my vision to life, she did something completely different to her own liking. On top of that, she was very late to the event, and several of my other vendors were complaining about her tardiness. She barely made it on time, which showed in the poor job she ended up doing, she just threw something together, disregarded everything we had talked about, and left. For the amount she charges, the quality was nowhere near worth it. I would honestly value what was delivered at no more than $3,000, and it breaks my heart to say that about my own wedding day. Don't trust her with your big day! She won't deliver! I am very upset and keep crying looking back at my pictures knowing what it could have been ! read more

I never wanted to leave a review this bad, but today I decided to do it because no bride deserves to go through this nightmare. It's not fair to spend so much money and trust someone based on their promises, only for them to completely disregard everything they said they would do. We started working with MARTHA almost two years before our wedding. When we first met her, I showed her all the pictures of what I wanted, and we discussed the budget we were aiming for. She assured us everything was possible within that budget. I even sent her those pictures through text when we first started talking. Then, a month before the wedding, when we went to finalize everything, I showed her the exact same pictures again. Suddenly, she started adding extra charges for everything. "Oh, these flowers have orchids? That's $2,000 extra." "Oh, these candles? $2,000 extra." "Oh, these rentals? $2,000 extra." And etc. It was never-ending. She kept increasing the price for things we had already discussed and agreed upon from the start. Everything was planned in detail--she even drew out exactly how the main table, where our parents and family would sit, should look. We rented expensive tables and left the sides open for the dance floor because she was supposed to create a stunning flower fall all over the table. Guess what? I arrived at the venue, and there was no flower fall. Instead, she used some old design she had done years ago--something we never even discussed. Not only was it completely different, but she set it up in a way that blocked the view of the dance floor for my family and everyone seated behind them. The disappointments didn't stop there. She also promised to decorate the church aisle beautifully. When we sat in her office, we planned for six floral arrangements, but she kept insisting on four. I made it very clear that I wanted six, yet in the end, she did what she wanted and only placed four. On top of that, she put some cheap-looking fabric in the church--almost like a napkin--something I had never seen before and would have never approved of. What makes this even worse is how she treated us. In the beginning, she was all smiles, calling us "Habibi," acting so nice, and convincing us that she had everything under control. She made it seem like she had everything we needed, but in reality, she delivered none of it. Then, about a month before the wedding, her entire attitude changed. She became rude, dismissive, and even argumentative. At that point, what could I do? Finding another decorator so close to the wedding wasn't an option, especially since I wasn't from LA. After the wedding, I texted her, explained my disappointment, and waited for a response--at the very least, a refund for the flowers that were never used. She never even bothered to reply. And instead of taking responsibility, she blocked me on social media. What a shame. I should have been the one blocking you and leaving this review long ago so no one else would have to go through this. And to top it all off, I saw someone mention that she charged them $6K. For us, she charged almost three to four times that amount. Imagine paying that much, trusting someone with your wedding day, only to be completely disappointed. Please save yourself from this nightmare. She might seem nice at first, but in the end, she does whatever she wants, no matter what she promised you. Disappointing experience We initially hired Martha for our wedding taking into consideration she did all the nice talk and convinced us she would do a great job. We thought of giving her a chance to be our wedding florist since she is local to the area, so we sent her the deposit two days after we met with her because we were very excited that we found a florist for our wedding. I decided to ask her after a couple of days to do a heart shaped flower design or a box flower for 200$ and send it to an address. The delivery was two days late, and it wasn't a box flower or a heart, but instead her shop sent flowers in a vase that looked like they were thrown together and were very sparse and caused me an embarrassment with the people I sent it to. I spoke to Martha and asked her to explain the reason why she delivered something we didn't ask for, but she was very adamant that her work is amazing and all that. Didn't even apologize for her work or her workers mistake, so I asked her to refund our wedding deposit money and she said she will but didn't. I tried to text her and reach out multiple times and she never responded back and it's been over 1 week. I tried to be reasonable and honest with her about the level of service she provided and was very respectful but it looks like she doesn't care about her clients or business. When we met her in person, she put this fake show on about how honest she is in the game, she does a great/clean job, bragged about her huge warehouse, and how she will take care of everything from A-Z, and sure enough she turned out to be the worst! My fiancé and I believed everything she said and we sent her our wedding floral deposit via zelle without a contract!! (Never ever do this, especially with her) Then my best-friend gave birth and we decided to order flowers from her and also see her work, total worth of $1,400. She took the money and we were not able to get a hold of her or get her to deliver those flowers for two days. We finally sent her a text expressing how disappointed we are and she decided to deliver the flowers finally After TWO DAYS OF BEING LATE AT 10 PM. This isn't the worst part... she delivered something COMPLETELY different than what we ordered and what SHE CHARGED US FOR!!! She never cared to even take any of her calls or answer to any of her text or even try to refund any amount even if "there is a shortage of flowers during the pandemic " When my fiancé called her (with an unknown number) she wasn't even embarrassed of what she did and embarrassed of her messy/cheap work! She lied to him that she will refund our wedding deposit since she agreed that what she delivered was completely different than what we ordered (mind you that she tells all her clients that the deposit is refundable without a contract) and sure enough she never refunded the money. I don't know where to begin. I am so disappointed and hurt that it took me 6 weeks to even sit down and write this review. When my husband and I met Martha we thought she was wonderful. Positive energy and made things seem so obtainable since she has a warehouse of supplies etc. we had a budget which was not anything short of what you would think my expectations would be (6k). That's a lot for a wedding. Especially, if you own your own "supplies". We met before covid was really coming down hard. Have a deposit and just sat tight to see if the wedding was going to happen as planned. We never bothered her. Never nagged. Didn't change the dates. Just waited. At last, the day came where we got the clearance and we were beyond excited. We met with Martha for the 2nd time. She acted like she forgot who we were. Barely remembered any details we discussed. It was bad. What choice did we have? Few weeks away and we already have her a deposit. Fast forward to wedding. My friend picked up the florals in the morning (my Bouquet, made of honor bouquet, boutonnières and corsages) I was HORRIFIED!!!!!! They were so ugly we didn't even put them on my husband and my mom. I wanted to call Martha right then and here and ask her if I offended her in some way for her to do this?? I was angry on the morning of my wedding, can you believe that? Just at her carelessness. My maid of honor bouquet was ridiculous. My husbands boutonnière had a huge crystal gem on it. Out of nowhere!! Like why?? She promised four (4) large flowers at the church. Only delivered two. So embarrassing. She promised candles all over the tables. Each table had 2. My head table was supposed to be "flowy" and romantic. You can tell they blew up the roses just to use less flowers. It was ridiculously bad. I asked for tons of candles on the floor she put them all over the place they looked so off and half ass. She only had flowers on 13 out of 21 of the tables. The rest she used candleabras which we asked for. She had promised to put small flowers on those tables and of course NONE. My toss bouquet was 6 roses total wrapped in some garbage wrapping. My photos look horrendous. I told her we wanted spring colors and blush, peach etc. everything was white!!!! She didn't listen to anything we said. Everyday detail was skimped out on. Every single one. We even had drama with the cake florals. She wanted an extra $200 for cake florals when she promised she would do that for us too when we first met. All lies and false promises. Look, at the end the flowers don't matter. None of it does. But if you pay 6,000 for decent floral decorations for your wedding, they better deliver it. It's a lot of money. At some point I honestly thought maybe we did something to offend her? Then I started asking around. And heard the REAL stories. Our photo person (which is another disaster) referred us to her. We should have known better. Snake oil salesman all the way. Avoid at all costs. Martha- if you read this just know that it took me a long pause to write this. I had gone to this event planner to plan one of the most special days of my life. I provided all the details during our meeting outlining exactly what I wanted, including but not limited to specifically shaped baked cookies, detailed cake pops and a 6 foot desert table/station with back drop. I was asked and so I sent photos to her phone indicating theme, things needed etc. She assured me that all was doable and it would get done. Unfortunately, on the day of my event, nothing was how we had discussed. She did not deliver anything as promised. I arrived to my event to learn that she had borrowed printing paper from one of the ladies to do a last minute cut out. There was NO dessert station. I called her to ask about it and she said, "Oh, I will deliver it in 2 hours." She had forgotten about the dessert entirely. It was supposed to be there by 1pm and two hours in, all my guests had arrived and nothing was done. Any photos that were taken, were done so behind an empty, undecorated table. When she finally delivered delivered the desserts, I came to find old cake pops, not decorated in the shapes as discussed. Paper cut outs were placed on the pops as a quick cover up for her negligence. It looked cheap! What's more is that the cake pops were not even actually cake. Once I bit into it, it was filled with cream!! For someone who prides themselves in their quality of service, this woman failed miserably. The entire day was ruined. I looked her up and was a bit skeptical because of the reviews on here, but I was so in love with her work that decided to go with her and ignore the reviews. Well let me tell you having Martha do my flowers was the best decision I made. Martha went above and beyond my expectations. I walked into the venue on my wedding day and it took my breath away! I have worked in the event industry for several years and experienced several florists and planners. Martha's work has always stood out to me so I knew for my special day I had to choose Martha! Martha is a very talented florist. She was among the best venders I worked with on my son's wedding reception back in September 2018, a key player for the success of the event. She's been in business for over 17 years. She created majestic center pieces that fits for royals. She exceeded my expectations with delivering an amazing dessert bar as well as the centerpieces (see attached pictures). I would hire her again in a heart beat. I've seen other florists that are trying to copy her work but they're not even close. She has an amazing way of working with each venue and designing the center pieces to the correct scale and style of each venue. Just trust her when she gives suggestions, she knows what she is talking about, just let her do her magic. Check out her Instagram account, you'll get hooked. She didn't deliver what she promised. I asked for small centerpieces she brought big old bouquets probably from a different event she was reusing. I asked for a plain simple back drop she brought an ugly backdrop with huge flowers that we ended up sending back. I asked for a marble cake and she sent me the most ugly white cake with huge flowers. I made them take it back and bring what I asked for and by the time they brought it was late and my guests had already arrived. On a stressful day you expect your event planner to take care of everything and make it beautiful and more special. BEWARE OF THIS VENDOR! She is the nightmare of all nightmares! She was supposed provide the floral centerpieces, cake stand, entryway florals, cake table florals and more for our event. She asked for 100% payment 3 weeks prior to the event, which we paid, as she stated that she needed all the money up front to buy the flowers. During the week of our event, she stopped responding to my calls and text messages. I still tried to be nice, as we had paid her in full and it was too late to go with anyone else. Thus, after calling and texting her multiple times a day, I barely got a hold of her 2 days prior to our event in order to finalize all the details. On the day of our event, SHE DID NOT SHOW UP! Never in a million years would I ever think that the florist I hired for my special event wouldn't show up to my event that I had meticulously been planning for 5 months! I called her when I arrived to my venue at 12:20 PM to ask her where she was. She said that she had been planning to come set-up at 2 PM, when my event was actually 12-3:30 PM! I was absolutely hysterical and broke out crying in front of all my guests. She assured me she would be there in 30 minutes so we delayed our guests and made them wait and wait, which ended up adding an obscene amount of money to our alcohol bill and leaving our guests agitated. Finally, almost 1.5 hours later, after we called her multiple times and she lied multiple times about being "down the street", she showed up. My guests had already sat down at the table and I proceeded to let her know how horrible of a vendor, business person, and florist she is. No one should have to deal with a vendor like this--especially on a day that is a once-in-a-lifetime occasion like a Christening, wedding, baby shower, bridal shower, etc. If I can convince at least just 1 person to not use Martha, then I have done my duty. Now, it's been almost 2 weeks since our event and she STILL has not even issued us our refund. She insists that it takes time to process (um...no Martha, it does not take 8 business days for the credit card company to issue a refund). Apparently, she thinks that we have "stupid" written on our foreheads, but the only stupidity I see is at Martha's business. Stay away at all costs! read more

She listens to what you want as a customer, yet her creativity sparks new and fresher ideas that give you that awe factor! She is an honest and reliable person. Just one word to describe Martha's work AMAZING. Where should I begin my wife and I booked Martha for our pre-engagement party and we were amazed by her work. When it came to the wedding it was easy we didn't need to look around or shop around one meeting with Martha and she already knew what my wife's vision was. A few weeks before the weeding Martha had create a sample of the centerpiece it was exactly what we wanted.
