Rita was the perfect choice, a must for any party! Not only did she give me vendors, every single one I gave her from friend recommendations she has worked with! The follow-through sold me. Texting back immediately and I never felt I was bothering her. The 3 assistants she brought to my wedding were personable and respectful, very important to me. I hired Rita as a coordinator for my wedding. My expectations were so high based on the reviews I read about her, but unfortunately my exceptions were not met. The job was not done 100 percent. I planned my wedding and I had all the vendors. Also during the month of the wedding I constantly worked on the timeline. I communicated with all the vendors to give them an update and make sure every body's on track. So all I really needed was to make sure everything goes smoothly and according to the time line on the wedding day. She is a nice and calm person and I have nothing agains her but her skills in coordination fall short.Maybe not as detailed as I was expecting.She was quick to respond my emails and I believe she has a very good source of vendors which I did not use much since I'd already booked everything beside the fog machine and sparkles. These are the things I was not happy about. -First of all she did not show up on the rehearsal day and was planning not to be present on my ceremony day.Instead she sent one of her crew that had no clew how to manage a simple rehearsal in a timely manner( group of 10) I had to take control, i had to literally gather everyone and make sure how my team is gonna walk and stand on the aisle and also coordinate a few things with our pastor. Rita, as a coordinator had to be there to at least to get to know the bride and groom team and get to know the plan for the ceremony in person since I'd only spoke with her on the phone. -on the day of the wedding, There were couple of times where she really needed to step in and intervene to speed things up . For instance, when our friends/families were taking a bit of a longer time to take pictures. Or when we were releasing the doves there were moments that I felt strongly that Rita or her team has to help the bride and groom team to find the spot the photographer was asking and help them move a little faster while we were trying to release the doves. Since there was a lot going on with the doves and drones. To be able communicate with the rest of the team (The photographers, videographers) it's a group work.Because that's why you hire a coordinator . To help things move smoothly and effortlessly. They only guided our guests on a side at that moment. -We were an hour behind the schedule on the wedding day. I understand that not every single thing could go exactly the way I planed, but I hire a coordinator to do the things I am not gonna be able to do on my own on my wedding day.It's coordinator's job to do her best to stick to the plan and the timeline as much as possible. I emphasized the timing is so important for me, but I did not see her being on top of everything or managing her crew well! If they had walki talkies , they could have managed things better. one of them should have been on the main floor , one with the musicians and the other closer to my table. I requested one of the crew to be with the musicians and the Dj as well as the the string players for the ceremony to cue the musicians, but that did not happen. That's why the string players stopped wile the made of honor was still walking down and they had to go tell them keep playing. A team of tree can do way better if they are given specific tasks. -After using the fog machine for our first dance there was water on the dance floor(liquid) She did asked the ballroom workers to help and dry it but never waited there to make sure that the job is done completely . I had to go back to her table and let her know that there is still liquid on the floor .We can't dance .It's slippery. -Candles on all the table were not lit even after our grand entry .I had to remind them to light them up. read more

We found Rita after our previous wedding planner quit on us 3 1/2 months before our wedding, with basically everything left to do. Not only did Rita plan our wedding but she also planned my bridal shower and our post-wedding pool party. There are truly not enough words to comprehend how amazing she is. Not only did she remain calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire process (even when we had vendor issues or my wedding dress ripped on my wedding day) but she was extremely organized, caring, and truly planned our special day and events as if they were her own. Finding a wedding planner was my first step into wedding planning. I talked to about 20+ wedding planners and was actually referred by our band, Eli band, to reach out to Rita. I found Rita on Instagram and loved her work, but did not know anyone that worked with her personally. Our wedding was a production to say the least- turfing, draping, tons of rentals, live artist, new venue with tons of restrictions, 400 guests, etc. I don't know how she did it, but she managed everything and made it look easy. We did not have to worry about much beforehand, and especially on our wedding day. Literally nothing went wrong, because she anticipated everything that possibly could've beforehand and planned for it. Her day-of team was also amazing, and they were constantly coming up to me to wipe my face, bring me water, help me to the bathroom, feed me, or help with anything I needed in general. Kate was my shadow and she killed it. I was always attended to, she was a pleasure to be around, and constantly anticipated things I needed.
