Lux Design Builds did a remodel on our upstairs hall bathroom. The project was completed in a…read moretimely fashion (in 6 days) including demolition. The remodel replaced the floor with vinyl tile, replaced the tub surround tiles with vinyl sheets and replaced the vanity, counter mirror, tub, lights and all fixtures. The finished bathroom looks great with no issues. The fixtures, vanity and surfaces chosen by the Lux design crew look great. The installer did a great job, was very courteous and did the job with minimal disruption.

When I met Sarah I knew I could finally help him with that goal. :) Sarah came over to our home and figured out how to bring all of our decidedly eclectic decor together in a way that is visually pleasing plus functional (since we have a 3 year old). Both her simple tweaks to the set up of our furniture plus the look-book she emailed us later were absolutely fantastic. I love that she gave me ideas for further improvement as the funds come available. Our daughter especially loves the set up of her room and wanted me to say it is "Pretty! Nice! Fun!" Sarah is very easy to work with and really listens to requests. Before, my husband and I were in transition going from 2 separate homes to 1, and life was messy and unmanageable...and our home reflected that. We had double or triple of things which were randomly placed. It was so overwhelming that it was a huge source of stress and most likely put a strain on our relationship. What happened? We hired Sherri not knowing how brilliant she was. Her personality is warm,compassionate, and totally non-judgemental. This is so important because messiness can come with shame. She was so supportive in OUR vision of our home, and taught us the skills, tools, and systems needed to organize. I also want to note she genuinely wanted to get to know us as a whole person, not just getting things organized. Now, yes, things can get easily get "messy" but we know exactly where things go and cleaning is quick and easy. No more stress anymore. Things in our home have a system tailored to our lifestyle. This is way overdue, but clearly a hint into why I needed to have someone like Christy come into my…read morelife! Christy was more than a de-clutter expert, she's therapy! I can give you every reason / excuse as to why I hadn't been able to get my act together, but you already know. Christy was able to approach my situation in a way that was caring and fun. She wasn't just trying to help me "get rid" of stuff, but really had me look into why I felt the need to have X in the first place. We'd talk it through, come up with a solution, and act on it. Super cathartic. She'd give me realistic "homework" to do until next time, and of course, I'd make excuse why it wasn't done. No judgement! I looked forward to seeing her each time. Here's the thing. Would my life be better if she lived in my home and did it for me? Sure! And she can " just do it" for the client. But for me, her methods have bled over into every aspect of my life. She "taught" me how to take these methods into work, into a way of thinking when approaching just about everything. And time flies when you are with her. Her personality and optimism is contagious! And she can shift focus at a moment's notice. Don't want to tackle de-cluttering closet today? Really need assistance in digital filing ( organizing that crazy computer, bills, etc)? She can do that, too. Need more sessions with her for sure, but not bc she didn't succeed. But bc I want to continue to better my life and 46 years of habits can be tough to break. Worked with Justin in David's team last year to stage my home for sale. The price they gave me was…read moregood, and they had made some concessions in my favor because "we want your home to look good", when I was thinking "oh I don't need to furnish all the rooms". I appreciated that, and wasn't expecting it. I was very happy walking through the house after they had staged it. The design Justin and the team had chosen was fitting for our space and the theme they wanted to express. I wish I could have lived in the house with their design, but such is life that things looked this good only when I am selling the home. The staging team was very quick and professional in placing and removing the furniture when the time came around. I felt they respected my home and the attention to security when they locked my keys inside behind them since I could not meet them that day. The one thing I can complain about is the photographer they chose to do the photos for staging. The photos delivered to me were unacceptably dark, and amateurish. He didn't bring strobes - an absolute requirement for indoor photography when you're fighting colored light sources. Considering the quality of the attention to interior design from Justin, I was expecting the same level of worksmanship in the photos. I eventually had to hire another photographer to redo the photos to proceed with my listing. The fiasco with the photographer wasted time, and I was hoping the company would protect me from unacceptable photo work. They didn't, nor did they try to chase the photographer to refund money. Overall I was happy with Justin and his team's work for interior design. Just don't hire their recommended photographer without seeing their latest photos first.

Never ever go with this company…read more We had the worst experience ever with this staging company. It was recommended by our realtor that trusted. David and team staged our home and they used a lot of our own items to do the staging. After our house was sold and it was time to remove their stuff, David and his team literally stole our items. We tried to contact him on numerous occasions, finally, we got his former assistant to gather all the missing items and she promised that they will ship them to our new place within one month. We called back to follow up but the assistant already left the company. I filed a complaint with BBB but David never bothered to respond or search out to us and he never returned our items. Again, the worst experience, worst company, unprofessional owner, David doesn't care about customer satisfaction, we spent over $4,000 for staging and we had to deal with the unsolved issue, it is a nightmare. We wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. STAY AWAY!!!!
