David and his team have staged my home twice, and they did a marvelous job each time\. They have a great eye for enhancing the beauty, style, and overall appeal of a home, while paying close attention to both the big picture and the smallest details\. Their work is thoughtful, tasteful, and beautifully executed, and I would highly recommend David and his team to anyone looking for exceptional staging read more

Worked with Justin in David's team last year to stage my home for sale. The price they gave me was good, and they had made some concessions in my favor because "we want your home to look good", when I was thinking "oh I don't need to furnish all the rooms". I appreciated that, and wasn't expecting it. I was very happy walking through the house after they had staged it. The design Justin and the team had chosen was fitting for our space and the theme they wanted to express. I wish I could have lived in the house with their design, but such is life that things looked this good only when I am selling the home. The staging team was very quick and professional in placing and removing the furniture when the time came around. I felt they respected my home and the attention to security when they locked my keys inside behind them since I could not meet them that day. The one thing I can complain about is the photographer they chose to do the photos for staging. The photos delivered to me were unacceptably dark, and amateurish. He didn't bring strobes - an absolute requirement for indoor photography when you're fighting colored light sources. Considering the quality of the attention to interior design from Justin, I was expecting the same level of worksmanship in the photos. I eventually had to hire another photographer to redo the photos to proceed with my listing. The fiasco with the photographer wasted time, and I was hoping the company would protect me from unacceptable photo work. They didn't, nor did they try to chase the photographer to refund money. Overall I was happy with Justin and his team's work for interior design. Just don't hire their recommended photographer without seeing their latest photos first. read more

Never ever go with this company We had the worst experience ever with this staging company. It was recommended by our realtor that trusted. David and team staged our home and they used a lot of our own items to do the staging. After our house was sold and it was time to remove their stuff, David and his team literally stole our items. We tried to contact him on numerous occasions, finally, we got his former assistant to gather all the missing items and she promised that they will ship them to our new place within one month. We called back to follow up but the assistant already left the company. I filed a complaint with BBB but David never bothered to respond or search out to us and he never returned our items. Again, the worst experience, worst company, unprofessional owner, David doesn't care about customer satisfaction, we spent over $4,000 for staging and we had to deal with the unsolved issue, it is a nightmare. We wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. STAY AWAY!!!! read more

David is rude and arrogant. They rescheduled my initial appointment to look at the house, then rescheduled my installation appointment several times. David was rude to my assistant and wouldn't let her stay in the house during installation and insisted she sit in her car (on a very hot day) for several hours while they installed the furniture. Then they said no one could sit on the furniture while the house was staged (for 45 days). I was looking for a new "go-to" staging company, but I will NEVER use or recommend this one! By the way, they are expensive. read more

David & Co Interior Design - Good design, crappy communication & attitude. - Interior Design Near Me - Issaquah, Washington

I generally don't do reviews like this even if I don't like the service, but this team is terrible, disorganized and aren't as visionary as they make themselves out to be. David the owner, is arrogant, doesn't take any feedback and he has absolutely no clue how to work with clients and treat them with respect. He doesn't take responsibility for mistakes, keeps making excuses and blames the lack of knowledge on the brokers / clients. His style of communication is extremely patronizing and demeaning, a form of threatening behavior. I had high hopes to work with this team and they supposedly commit to customer excellence and stand by their product, but they really don't. Stay far away from them as they are a way bigger headache and can ultimately impact your home sale process in a very negative way. They make mistakes after mistakes, don't own up to them or if they do, they make more mistakes after that. I've worked with many staging companies and this is the worst I have ever come across. read more

Unfortunately I can't recommend this company staging. I had a $780k listing and I was requesting high end/modern furniture and I happen to go to the house when they started and the furniture was low end and the house looked empty. David did pull all the furniture and put new but it was not to expectations at all, for the price of the home. It did not look high end or modern. Very basic. read more

I found David on Thumbtack.com I've personally contracted with David and team twice and I think he really gave me a good perspective on what a well designed space looks like. David and his team worked on two of our living spaces. The first was a 1100 sq ft loft space in SLU and the second was a ~1300 sq ft townhome in the CD. Let me set the stage on the 1st space: I was new to Seattle, had a new job at a company I had set my sights on joining for nearly two years, and was planning to get married back in my home state of Illinois. Yep, you guessed it-- I was I. Over my head. To top it off, my fiancé wasn't too keen on the idea of hiring a interior designer. She would say, "why spend money on something I can do"!? Haha! Let's not forget we was 'planning' a wedding-- something she has set her sights on for nearly two years. :) In both cases, David was the answer to our hesitations and concerns. Both spaces were different in shape and in size. The thing that you will appreciate most is that David has a good understanding of his craft. When I say that, I mean I don't know how to set up a room that it's aesthetically pleasing to the eye without you know it, but I do know what I like. David did that for me with our loft. 90s TV had me dreaming of living in a well decorated downtown loft with nearby friends that would occasionally come by and visit before I was able to drive a car. Hahaha! David did that for me. He took our loft space and gave it 'rooms', style, and most importantly (for me at least) functionality! We stayed in that apartment far longer than we probably should have but I was grateful to have such a place to come home to. Our townhome was pretty much set as we had a lot of furniture in storage that we were able to use, so we couldn't get to truly make use of his talents. However, we were about to have our first child (big reason why we had to leave the loft) and we ran our ideas for our 1st nursery by him and was hoping he could help bring it to life. His ideas, support and excitement wasn't surprising. However, we didn't get exactly what we wanted in the room. In full fairness to David, he was working other projects so we didn't see much of him when his team came by. Also, my position at 'said company' that led me to Seattle was eliminated in a reorganization, so I wasn't always the most present or friendly at times. However, his team was able to paint a very high ceiling room with 3 different colors, put together & arrange some furniture, and add additional wall outlets. David brought by several pieces to add to the place but at the end of the day he "fung shui'd" our home into a functional space. And, in hindsight-- that was just fine. Haha! Again, job elimination. In short, I'd say David has a great eye for design, he's friendly, and he's hardworking (always had projects; told me he drove as far north as Bellevue and far south as Kent for clients). Also, you have to trust his eye for design against your own experience and judgment, accept that he can't clone his personality and drop it into each of his team members, and that he can be late or need to reschedule at times. And, if you are like us, who had NO idea how this contractual situation would work out, it can be a little intimidating (like I mentioned he was out 1st contracted designer). Overall, David was a blessing to my family in Seattle. Would recommend him to others. - Excuse typos - read more

Staging and customer service was not bad when they helped us in 2016 to sell our property. As a returning customer we did business again and this time their staging quality and customer service weren't good. They contacted my realtor without my permission and he was under an impression that they are doing it with my permission, and David' team removed the staging and didn't inform me at all. I asked them why they contacted him directly and why they didn't inform me but instead of accepting their lack of communication Mr. David decided to blame us and realtor with a negative tone. Now, in response to my review instead of making things better and going towards a positive direction Mr. David sent another negative and nasty very long email. And he sent another very bad email and used insulting and inappropriate words in his email which is unbelievable from any type of business owner. His style of communication is very aggressive, threatening and degrading others. This is shocking that a business owner is so unprofessional and full of negativity and doesn't know how to solve the problems and communicate with customers. Mr. David, I really hope that you treat customers with respect and learn how to communicate with your customers. He replied on Google reviews with many lies and still arguing instead of solving the problem. He is providing misleading information and just trying to save himself now. First of all they staged the house very poorly and did a below standard job in staging however I never told them or complained them about this until today. They took 4 rooms staging off from initial quote and offered me a little lower price than original quote and now he is trying to show that he offered a discount. They started putting pressure on me to remove the staging as soon as house status changed to pending within 1 week of staging and I told them to wait for inspection and underwriting stage because buyer was not confident, we had a contract for 60 days. After Appraisal I sent emails to them but David and Alex didn't reply back to my emails, then I again asked to set up a removal with me, and still no reply. Instead they quietly contacted my realtor without informing me and gave him an impression that I asked them to contact him and removed the staging. Even after that they didn't bother to let me know that they already removed staging and I was keep calling them and sending messages to them to remove the staging but deliberately left me unattended. Owner David is very aggressive and sent threatful emails to me instead of accepting their mistake when I simply asked them why didn't they inform me and removed the staging without my information. He used many bad and disgusting words in his email and now still continued to argue here with all of his lies. Never seen a business owner like him, so unprofessional, aggressive and disrespectful. I found that another customer left a similar review in January 2019 for David and his attitude, he has some serious problems. read more
