She spoke to me in such an unkind way that I will never forget when I look back on my children's preschool years.

I have two children who have gone to steeple school and I have nothing but absolutely wonderful things to say about the school, the outdoor classroom, the curriculum, and the teachers. As a former educator myself, I truly wish that this school had all of the elementary grades because both of my children would still be in attendance. The accreditations and the nature classroom that this school possesses are in line with private preschools that charge thousands more. I strongly encourage parents of young children to consider Steeple School.

They are disappointed when there is no school, and eagerly look forward to going every day. Our youngest is eagerly awaiting his 4th birthday this spring so that he can join them. Academically our older kids are working on math, science, history, computer programming, and foreign languages. They eagerly work on their writing journals, because their ELA classes are comprised of Dungeons and Dragons, and Minecraft (among others!). Think that sounds crazy? Maybe. But the most important thing about writing is simply to write. And if imagining how to slay a dragon can get a child to write 4 pages simply because they had a cool idea - we are all for it! And if they want to build a village in Minecraft and need to design how it will look, who will inhabit it, and what they will do? Even better. Write to your heart's content! (And they do!) The Forest School program is perfect for our 5 year old. He writes in his journal daily, and does his lessons outdoors. What more can you ask for at that age? He's free to run and jump around, chase butterflies, and is learning math as he counts the number of pinecones he can find for his art class. We had planned to homeschool full-time, and initially planned for attending just two days per week, but we quickly realized that the Athenaeum offers us all of the flexibility of homeschooling without the hassles of dealing with the town. Two days became three, the three days became four, and we recently decided that 5 days a week was perfect. Our kids occasionally slip out for "extra-curriculars" - something that you couldn't do anywhere else, because the Athenaeum is designed with the homeschooling mindset as the cornerstone of the program.

The entire staff is the equivalent to real life Disney fairy godmothers. They are magical. So professional, incredibly caring and warm from the start. From the moment I inquired online with Cadence Academy, in less than 24 hours our relationship began. Kaitlyn, the director, personally called me, and after 45 minutes on the phone, feeling like we were long lost friends reconnecting, the weight of finding the perfect place for my son was lifted. (Her daughter attends, so that right there was reassurance that Cadence Academy is the top choice for even a professional) I was called back to work in the middle of the summer of 2020, the PANDEMIC. Kaitlyn and her incredible staff made me feel so comfortable while I couldn't physically tour any of the classrooms, or walk inside the building, their descriptions, virtual tours, and phone calls reassured me completely. The Covid protocols were strict and thorough- with daily temperature checks for each student, mandatory masks, and extra sanitizing steps- it is extremely clean that I never felt overly nervous. Within the first week my son attended for three days, he came home waving, clapping and saying "bye-bye" at 11 months old. The next week he was saying "ut oh" and signing for milk (I had practiced signing at home and let them know my goals- and within two weeks of being at the academy -he was signing back!) Now at almost a year and a half he has an extensive vocabulary and signing skills to communicate! All thanks to the incredible teachers and socialization with other babies. The first few weeks I was a naturally worried mom- between the live updated app they use showing each meal, how much he ate and how much milk he drank, how long he napped, to every dirty to clean diaper- to photos of their daily activities- it reassured me he was in the perfect hands. I would call to check in, and every time I did I never ever felt rushed off the phone- Miss Taryn (who my son calls mama and immediately reaches for when we arrive each morning) would take the time and tell me how James' day was going and what he was learning. Even though I would hear a busy room in the background, she never rushed me off the phone and let me ask all of the questions. I felt at ease. She truly is doing what she is meant to do- be with babies and teach! My son had an immediate and special bond with Miss Taryn- that naps were no problem napping away from home (which is any mom's biggest fear who has gone through sleep training and has a perfect sleeper- sleep and daycare! They are amazing at getting your baby to nap) Meghan, the assistant director, is the most warm and calming soul I have ever came across. She is the perfect face of the academy, taking care of the daily protocols and payments. Anything you need or any question you may have- she is literally two rings away, or your emailed is answered within minutes. Hannah, is the coolest and the most down to earth, who again makes you feel so comfortable leaving your child when/if he cries come Monday when you first leave. And mind you- she is the funniest- best personality. Look no further, this is the spot not only for you to feel at ease that your child is in the best care, but also the best place for your child to grow (and eat very well!)

I am now in Boynton Beach Fl.....I see that the school is still listed as if in business.....it is not. (sadly) Allow me to brag...when I owned the business....it was wonderful.

The worst daycare I have ever dealt with. my son came home with poop so old and dried to his bum…read moreand diapers filled with hours of pee. He got rashes all the time from this place. The teacher called almost everyday complaining about my 3 year old who was just being your typical 3 year old. my son learned so much at his old daycare and I cannot tell you one thing he learned at this one. He comes home crying that his teacher is mean and I stressed this concern to her supervisor. 1 day later and as revenge the school literally reported my family because my son had the tiniest bruise on his hip. we grabbed him from running out of time out to put him back in. If you were to see the picture of the bruise...its so small you would ask where it is!!!Call child services on people who deserve to have it called on them. you don't go trying to ruin families and children's lives because someone complained about how there son is being taken Care of at school in the first place. i Considered taking him out for weeks before this and I knew I should have! ALWAYS TRUST YOUR GUT AND REMOVE YOUR CHILDREN FROM TOXIC PLACES!

One time when I was in 4th grade I got 1+1 on my homework, this is supporting the 2nd reason 4. They make you do a play even if you don't want to 5.because they have mixed grades (ex: 4-6) in classes, we get the same lessons over and over 6. They are money hungry and constantly ask for donations. 7. Rich families are favored over middle class kids, for example one kid at the school who's name I will not state, gets his way all the time Because his parents are the top donators of the school, he could do anything with no consequences 8. Unless you're a kid with rich parents, you are A criminal to them, you could say a word like "shit" and they make you have lunch with the principal and right a reflection. 9. Principal is rude

However, my other child was repeatedly assaulted by another student during recess for months. I think the "freedom to express" at Inly may just be a lack of adult oversight. Due to the negligence of the school, my daughter has lifelong trauma, and we left the school and moved as a result. Unfortunately, I'm not the only parent who had this happen to their child.
