It was a "go to" store for many families. Unfortunately, buying clothes online has become so popular that stores like this are either closing or have diminishing customer service and reduced stock. I went to this store looking for a pair of casual leather shoes. They had several that I liked which were a little pricey but not too bad. Unfortunately, they didn't have anything in my size (10W) which is probably one of the most common men's sizes. Not one of the four shoes I liked were in stock for my size foot. Of course the had plenty available for someone with Wile E. Coyote feet or super small feet but nothing in one of the most popular sizes. I ended up going to Shoe Dept next door and found a good deal on a great pair of shoes. It's said that such a great store is going downhill. Sign of the times I guess.

I visited the Boden warehouse & offices this weekend for one of their warehouse/clearance sales. I…read moredon't normally do warehouse sales due to crazy crowds and people who will smack you with their bags, but $200 Boden dresses for $30 will get me up early in the AM. Boden knows how to do a warehouse sale. We only arrived 15 minutes beforehand, trying to cut down our waiting outside in the cold time, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the waiting space was INSIDE! 500 or so folks were already in line, and they could have easily accommodated another 500 inside before folks would have had to endure the cold. Once they opened, they had incredible crowd control. Being at the back of the line, we waited another 15 or 20 minutes before they released us into the sale (they were counting to try to keep down the beatings). There was still PLENTY to look at. For the price of one dress on clearance on their website (about 50% off the original price), I bought two dresses, a skirt, a shirt, and a pair of pants for my husband. So the prices were definitely even better than normal web clearance. They also had a dressing room area set up for the women - a big curtain draped area with mirrors. Yes, a few more mirrors would have been nice, but having a dressing area at all is a major perk! Easy to get to from I-476 or I-81, it's an easy stop. They do a majority of their warehouse sales off site, but having the large space makes life easier. Just remember you own bag - you could either buy a reusable bag from them, or take a trash bag.

I stated "well sh&t still needs to get done!" She then started in on ,"well I've had cancer , I know!" I'm sorry unless you are debilitated with fatigue and just wanna try to feel normal for a few hours before you need your 5 hour nap don't tell me you know or you wouldn't have been so rude and disrespectful to someone who is sick. My husband and I discovered Batty Fang en route to a wedding out of state and ordered up two manicures immediately. The vibes of the salon are amazing, the people are wonderful, and super nice and welcoming. I've gotten my nails done before there and I got a haircut. Recently I went in for a highlight and haircut because on their booking app it was advertised to be priced around $150 for a highlight and haircut. My appointment was at 4:30 I ended up not leaving until close to 9 o'clock. now granted I do have shoulder length hair but she only did the top layer of my hair. when I got up to the counter to pay they told me my total was $280 which was absolutely shocking to me. At other "" expensive salons I paid for waxes haircut, and a full die, and it was a little more than $200. With tip, because I'm not an asshole, and did want to reward the girl for her time and effort, made my total come out to $336 for just highlight---she had forgotten about my haircut and by the time she remembered it was so late and past closing and I just wanted to go home. The next day when I called to get an explanation for why the bill with so much money, they told me they would have somebody call me back. After A subsequent three phone calls, I finally got a callback from a manager. They explain to me that the that the girl quote disregarded what was in the booking system and charged her hourly rate quote. So I said OK, but I've gotten similar services done in the past and was in and out in two hours so I think it was a little unnecessary that I was there for well over four. I asked for an explanation, and she just said that some of the artists are not as fast as the others. I told the boss that I felt like my foils were in way longer than normal because my artist was also talking to another customer. The manager or boss also did not sound too thrilled on the phone to be talking to me about the matter which was a bummer because I was very cordial and cheery on the phone. I was really disappointed by this experience because of the miscommunications and lack of clarity on their prices. I wish I would have asked more specifically when I was there. if you're looking for a place to get a quick nail appointment or a quick trim, this place is great and affordable. But any other kind of services I would consider looking elsewhere that is much more transparent about their pricing policies.
