But what I do know is that this was excellent. The Dixon family has gone in and done a huge overhaul on the place. The kitchen has been totally updated and the dining area has been also. Everything is clean and well functioning. You go to the counter and order and then go find a table. The place is small and the number of tables is limited. Once your order is ready they bring it out to you. You get a cup and there is tea and a fountain drink machine for you to fill up your glass. The bbq was amazing. Very tender and flavorful. I ordered a medium bbq plate and it was more than I could eat. I love the chopped bbq. You can also get sliced and chipped. I believe I heard them say the same man that used to do the cooking of the meat, is still the one doing it. They also have clearview bbq sauce and the Dixon family yellow jacket sauce. Both are excellent. We got to try the two pies. One was pecan and the other was a peanut butter pie (though I think it has a different name). Of the two, my friend and I felt the peanut butter one was the best of that kind we had ever had. They are open now and the wait is over. Run right over. You will be so glad you did. This is basically pimento cheese in a wonton, wrapper fried and served with pepper jelly. This was worth the trip. The tastiest thing I've had in a long time. I could've eaten the whole tray by myself. I had the the grilled pork chop with stir fried cabbage and fried okra and sweet peppers. The pork chop came with gravy, but I really don't think it needed it. It was tender and juicy by itself. The cabbage was wonderful and they fried the okra pods whole with sweet peppers. This was enjoyable. You can get this as an appetizer as well. My wife had the bourbon glaze salmon. It was very good as well. She had it with a zucchini and a side salad.
