We picked up 6 packs of Brats, two large packs of Nathan hot dogs, 8 lbs of 80/20 ground beef, three packs of cheese, two gallons of tea, one large container of potato salad and macaroni salad, Lettuce, tomato, onion, all the necessary condiments, Buns, and dessert which fed 17 people and we still had leftovers all for about $147.00; not bad at all. We would have paid near double that price if we shopped at Publix. This staff does a great job at keeping items in stock and are always friendly and helpful. So, alongside my mom, we walked around to see what we could find. It is a much older store location. So, we didn't really find too much of anything that spoke to us. However, I did come up with a really nice comforter set for 70% off. I couldn't pass it up. Beyond that, most of what was probably really a great deal had already been sold. A small, yet successful detour on our mother/daughter day about town.

We stopped in to see what kind of Post Christmas deals we could find and we definitely found some. I picked up some meat claws for $9.99 (Reg Price $18), a pair of relaxed fit jeans for $29.99 (Reg Price $48), a pair of Volcom Chinos for $42 (Reg Price $49.50), Levi's Chino shorts for $34.99 (Reg Price $50), and three Queen Sealy pillows for $30 combined (Reg Price $30 each). There is not a lot of staff on duty, but the ones that are here are doing the best they can and are as friendly as can be. The store is still pretty well organized and clean. Staff does a great job of keeping the displays going and putting things back where they belong when customers move things around; however, they could improve the cleanliness of the fitting rooms. We had some trouble checking out and needed to have the clerk track down our accounts because they recently changed over to a new system. Not a major deal but it slowed down the checkout process. One of the problems I've always had with J.C. Penny is that they never carry button-down collard shirts that actually look cool or have a dressy Rock-n-Roll vibe. If you're a Golfer or a Yacht owner they got everything you need but for a rocker like me all they have is some black jeans and a few band tees. If they could do better in this department I would shop here much more often. All-in-all, an overall great shopping experience, and we will be back next time were shopping in the area.

I had to take away stars because the pickup process was confusing. There are a bunch of large signs saying for pickup orders go to the counter in the shoe department (ironic) but when I went there no employee to be found and a there was a sign saying it wasn't open (but according to their info it should have been). It took me awhile to find an employee to get my order.
