When we got to the door there was a sign up saying the store was closed for inventory....oh no I was so disappointed BUT the lovely lady inside saw me peeking in and opened the door. I told her my story and she was so kind and gracious to let me in as long as "I didn't mind the mess". Alas, the dress was nowhere to be found (my fault for not snatching it up when I had the chance). The co-owner even called her partner while I was there to see if she knew the location of the dress. They ended up making me a cathedral length veil!!!!, a comb for the reception ( a couple renditions after the first was too big), and they made earrings for my entire bridal party. The pieces were all so beautiful and it was great to have something unique. I'm not sure why everyone on yelp is hating on LuLu. I've had nothing but great experiences with the owners and their products. Check this place out for some funky holiday gifts!

I spent over a decade in client-facing sales, including quality assurance and training, and I've seen what "above and beyond" really looks like. Shalisha at the Royersford Kohl's Sephora absolutely nailed it. Her initiative, product knowledge, time management, and customer-first approach stood out immediately--not just in how she helped me, but in how she handled the entire store. This is the kind of employee you want leading teams and training others. I came in the store looking for foundation that works well for my skin--this has been an ongoing and frustrating search. Shalisha gave a warm and enthusiastic greeting--and though I took up more of her time than I intended, she gave her all to this interaction and maintained that high level of supportive enthusiasm throughout my visit. Shalisha listened, asked the right questions, and walked me through several options that actually made sense for my skin. And not just what was on the shelf--she also referenced products carried in full-size Sephora locations, not available at this one. That's the kind of product familiarity you don't get from a one-time training session. It comes from effort, and choosing to learn about everything, not just what she personally uses. She's young and has flawless skin, which made it all the more impressive how well she understood what works (and what doesn't) on skin that's aging, textured, or harder to match. That tells me she's not just learning to serve people like herself--she's learning to serve everyone. That doesn't happen by accident. That's what it looks like when someone takes real pride in their work and uses their downtime to learn, not just wait out their shift. And her customer handling? Spot-on. While she was helping me, other customers came in. I noticed right away that she didn't panic, didn't ignore anyone, and didn't try to rush me to get to the next person. She looked up, acknowledged the new customer (just enough to let them know they'd be helped), then smoothly gave me a bit of space to explore the products she'd recommended while she addressed the next person. Nobody felt ignored. Nobody stood awkwardly waiting. That's real time management, and it's hard to teach. Also worth mentioning: I asked if she worked on commission--because the kind of effort she put in would make sense if she did. But no. No commission. No incentive other than doing the job well. That's rare. Most people don't go this far even when they are getting a bonus. So to see it from someone in a non-commissioned retail role? That's next-level. For context: My career was in customer service-oriented sales, including quality assurance and training. Having been trained by a Fortune 50 company known for winning the J.D. Power award for customer experience year after year, I have a solid understanding of what good client service should look like. I've also reviewed thousands of customer interactions from the coaching side. So I don't throw around compliments lightly, and I don't say someone's exceptional unless I really mean it. I'm also not the type of person who shops in person unless I absolutely have to. I order groceries, glasses, medication--everything--online. But the quality of service at this location, especially from Shalisha, is making me rethink that. When someone makes the experience this smooth and genuinely helpful, it's worth making the trip. If you're in management--especially district or regional--please take note. Shalisha isn't just a good hire. She's a high-return investment. She knows how to handle clients, how to adapt to different needs, and how to keep things moving without sacrificing quality. Knowing I won't be going to Kohls in the near future, I went to this one as it was nearby my vacation area. The store is large and clean. A staff person bright me to the men's clothing section and I bought the item with Kohls bucks. Total out of pocket cost: $0. Highly recommend their rewards program, which is free to join.

My fiance and her mom kept this temporarily from me because I was still frustrated and had no awareness of them going back. I am considering modifying or deleting this review completely. Still processing. Based on the response from the owner I just want to reiterate the mounting is not something that my fiance asked for. I think the problem is, it seems is one person at Julia's is doing everything and she is taking on too much on her own. They can be more organized I heard, other Jeweler stores send actual pictures/video of what the design would like to seek approval first before. Here doesn't seem to case, its more of a sketch up which creates room for confusion and misinterpretation. But no one person can take that all on. In addition, the Bald guy is just terrible with customer service, I wish we had went to her first. ORIGINAL: We are first time engaged, I wanted to throw a surprise engagement to my fiance. We went into Jeweler's Gems and initially they were friendly and the service seemed really well. They worked with my fiance to see what she wanted. They re-assured us that if anything is wrong with the Ring we can always take it back and get it to what she wanted. They seemed like good people and willing to help and service was good and affordable. The ring was ready last month, November for me to do the surprise engagement in dec. The ring came out beautiful, diamond looked great My girl friend was happy and the surprise went well. The only thing that My fiance was taking aback by was that the diamond was put in horizontal and not vertical position, perpendicular to her finger. That took my fiance aback because she has sent videos to Julia that showcased the ring being vertical, and was very adamant that she wanted the orientation of her diamond on the ring, to be vertical. So we thought they can work with us on this change, given that My fiance didn't get what she wanted and in addition, given what they had told us I'm paraphrasing, "if anything is wrong with it, you can come back and work us on fixing a issue". The latter is why we wanted to work with them. We talked to them about our concern yesterday and went into the store today and was quite taken aback by the treatment they were giving us. The bald guy seemed combative. I was surprised by this behavior based on their pass treatment of us. They seemed friendly and amicable, wanting to help before if anything was wrong. The lady that helped us before was in the back working and was quiet the whole time. It seemed like the bald guy, I guess handles situations like this. This seemed like a 180 degree turn and it made me frustrated that it didn't seem like they were willing to correct or fix an issue. Again, We had no problem with how the ring looked it turned beautiful, was great, the only concern was the placement of the diamond should be vertical and not horizontal. The guy did not seem open for fixing an issue and instead kept saying you had the ring for 2 months (not true we got the ring last month), and that it takes "this amount of work" (I'm paraphrasing) to get the ring repositioned/realigned to make the ring vertical and that they will charge us for this customization...He seemed very combative and avoiding of our concern, saying that its Christmas time and they got alot on their plate (which maybe true) can you all come back sometime in January and will deal with this later. It made me frustrated so frustrated that I took my fiance's ring and gave it back to them and said hey, you know what you get a free $6k we're going to find another place to do my girlfriend's ring. We are deeply unsatisfied and shocked with their service, it all just seems unexpected from them
