There are a dozen or so restaurants and eateries, a movie theater--Movie Tavern, Wegmans, LA Fitness, Dick's Sporting Goods, Pet Smart, Michael's, and even some upscale retailers. There is also a medical facility in this complex. I've been to half a dozen or so restaurants and eateries here for the last two years such as Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Red Robin, Olive Garden, Zoup!, Panera Bread, and Zoe's. We frequent Wegmans when we're looking for some specialty grocery items, fresh seafood, and bulk poultry or meats. Having a large-scale grocery store with pub and restaurant (unfortunately currently closed, however) makes it very convenient for shopping and dining here. They also offer buffet-style ready made foods by weight for take outs. Speaking of which, they offer a myriad of ready-to-eat packaged fresh foods. Providence Town Center seems to offer a very good variety of eateries and retail stores for your needs and wants, and it's conveniently located off the Collegeville exit off Rte.422.

The clothing is pretty eclectic and they have a diverse range of things from accessories to shoes to tops and jeans. An awesome burnt orange jacket caught my eye and I just had to try it on! I'm sure there is a story to be told here. About the rise and fall of shopping in America. I nominate this shopping center as ground zero. It's in surprisingly good shape. Whoever owns it is taking very good care of the property. You don't notice the vacancies until you drive into the parking lot and see all the empty store fronts. It's very close to the Providence Crossing shopping center a mile or so up the road into Royersford. So I give it 5 stars because, although completely vacant, the current owner is taking care of it. Truly the best example of a ghost mall out there.

Same shopping trip, at check up, my cashier, a young man named Jacob, was a delightful, necessary, employee doing his job with a pleasant attitude and positive customer service. I thought they both were good representives of what shopping a big store should be. I try not to use self service checkout.
