Their selection of men's clothing gets smaller and smaller each time I go there. It began a few years ago when they eliminated men's shoes.

So after the abject disappointment that was the Target across the street the lovely wife asked to…read moretrek to Kohl's as kind of a "what the hell" move considering that we hadn't been to one in years. Now the layout of the store is bizarre and their whole Kohls Cash, scratch offs at the register, multiple discounts for seemingly everything from showing up at the right day/time to parking in the correct spot seems more like playing three card monte in Times Square circa 1978 than a normal retail strategy but past the games the fact is simply that this place has really good prices and selection. The lovely wife was scoring more than Gary Busey outside the Santander Arena at 2am on Christmas Eve. Several items were marked down 70 or 80 percent along with a wide range of size and color choices. I mean we're talking actual wearable clothing for $3 or $4 dollars a piece and really good name brand sneakers that were $70 for $35. I was ready to gouge my eyes out with salad tongs at the thought of coming here but the lovely wife found what she wanted which makes her happy and she found it in what I thought was record time which makes me really freakin' happy so I felt that we were winning more than Charlie Sheen. At some point we'll be back, I'm sure.

You can still see the fountain where the famous YouTube video was taken. Not a lot of super high end stores, but it matches the area nicely. All it needs is an attached cinema to complete the feel of the pet rock era. I hope this place will endure. Unlike the Plymouth Meeting Mall, the exterior stores aren't doing as well as the interior. The Firehouse Subs place just closed. Security is present but not intrusive

With new ownership looking to close and redevelop most of the mall, Berkshire Mall's time is sadly…read moregetting short. What is sad, is while Berkshire Mall is no longer in it's prime, a large portion of the mall's interior remains filled with a mix of national and local tenants. It even has one fully functional fountain, in front of the Boscov's, with the fountain in front of the Sears not being operable for several years. Foot traffic on the weekends is excellent, with a portion of the community still supporting Berkshire. Unfortunately, this malls downturn largely started with the closing of Bon-Ton and Sears within a year of each other. The sale to Namdar Realty Group bought Berkshire into less reputable ownership, with their usual deferred maintenance leading to the mall almost being condemned in 2024 and a large portion of the parking lot being blocked off due to sinkhole issues. The food court upstairs is down to only three stands. What makes Berkshire worth stopping into despite all these problems? While the interior is dated, it is nice and kept clean. There is a fully functional mall retro arcade, Challenge Arcade. Berkshire Mall has one of the few full size FYE's left in the state. Various small businesses add charm and other shopping options. It's a shame that Abrams Realty Group, the malls future new owners, want to close Berkshire. Unlike Exton Square Mall, which they are also redeveloping, Berkshire Mall is not dead and it's far from it. Shame how it's going to end.

I have been a repeat customer at multiple Boscov's locations over the years. I frequently partake…read morein the great sale prices for shoes, auditorium sales, linens, house decor and fancier styles of clothing for myself and my family. Our last incredible deal purchase consisted of leather style storage benches marked down from about $60 to $20! My girls and I each purchased one for our rooms. We also love that we can get delicious Godiva chocolates and other sweets at reasonable prices. This has become our family's go to place for shoes since Payless had closed. The prices are always reasonable and there's a wide selection of styles. The sales offer impressive discounts and opportunities to save money on quality items. Despite the sometimes less than joyful/pleasant staff, I'd recommend this shopping location for the sales and items offered. It is a shame that many (not all) of the sales reps just seem like unhappy people. When I shop there I do my best to set a higher standard of kindness by demonstrating to others how I like to be treated through my own words/actions. (Just because they may not be kind, doesn't mean I have to act the same way.)

I just spent over an hour and a half looking for a dress to wear to my company's holiday party and…read morewhen I got to the counter, the cashier in Petites who was training holiday help quite literally refused to sell it to me. It was missing the price but still had the plastic tag on it and I even showed her the wrack I got it from--$29.99. So she checked the sewn-in label for a style number and said it wasn't on there. So then she called down to Juniors, certain that only their dept sold this brand, but they don't. She rudely stated, "I can't sell you this because I can't tell if this is even a Boscov's dress. Someone may have placed their own dress on the wrack and left it there." Had she taken the time to look it up like I did: "Violet B Bell Sleeve Knit Plaid A-Line Dress" in stock at Boscov's Berkshire Mall. Took me less than a minute to find. I've regrettably purchased a lot here, but never again after today. Not even Christmas gift cards, which I was going to add to my order.
