I am filing this review because what happened at the Ross store at 3615 S Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL…read moreon December 29 around 6:10 PM was completely unacceptable. An employee named Sara behaved in an openly rude, hostile, and disrespectful manner. She spoke with clear attitude, used aggressive body language, and acted annoyed toward customers when they could not hear her. This was not normal "bad service" -- it was deliberate and unprofessional behavior. I was shopping with my autistic sister and my autistic daughter, and Sara's behavior directly caused my daughter to become overwhelmed and begin pancaking, a serious stress response in autistic individuals. Any employee working with the public should know better than to escalate a situation involving a child with disabilities. To make matters worse, Sara made an incorrect and unfounded accusation, which only increased stress and embarrassment for my family. This crossed a line. When I spoke with another employee, I was told this is not the first time and that her attitude toward customers is a known issue. This is not just poor customer service -- it is a pattern of behavior that Ross management needs to address immediately. Customers with disabilities deserve respect, patience, and basic human decency. I strongly urge store management and corporate to review this incident, address this employee's conduct, and ensure proper customer service and disability-awareness training. Ignoring this kind of behavior puts Ross at risk of losing customers and trust.

Great prices! But the check out line here is outrageous. Very slow for a long line. There were two…read moreregisters open, then one employee left, leaving only one register open. I was in line for over 30 minutes! In the meantime, I see other employees wandering about working on other tasks, I suppose. It seems it should be all employees checking customers out when the line is this long. Other store tasks can wait.

Deals were everywhere and tons of doorbuster sales too! This store has a bit of everything but I give them high praise for an extensive selection of plus size designers, from shorts to dresses. Loved that in the men's section, there are shorts and shirts in different lengths for the shorter guys, from various design labels. Can't find that these days in brick and mortar stores. Grateful to have found Belk. Definite areas of improvement are the ladies intimate apparel area is a complete mess with limited options. Handbags could use a dedicated buyer, also very limited inventory and not seasonal current inventory. Shoes are also limited inventory. We will definitely be back for clothes, bedding and browsing too! Staff is super helpful and friendly regardless of their department. Cashiers mention their coupons and help you locating them. Bathrooms are outdated but stocked and clean. Pretty cool that the women's bathroom has a car seat on the wall for a toddler while mom hits the bathroom stall. Overall, a nostalgic and fun experience.

Stopped by this outside mall as the alternative stop instead of crowded Bonnet Springs Night Event…read more Initially this reminded me of Shops at Wiregrass in Wesley Chapel. I think it's a little bit smaller but similar layout and stores. What I didn't like the most is how dark it was. I don't think that's so safe. It was early enough to where there was at least two more hours of shopping before stores closed yet really dark. It's been about 10 years since I've been here, and it seems to look about the same as that time. They did have a Christmas tree in the center. That at least brightened the place up a bit. The stores off hand that I recall where Bath and Body, Kirkland's, a boutique with country ware, a Thai restaurant, a Vietnamese restaurant, BD's Mongolian BBQ which I was surprised to see, & a Grillsmith. They also had a movie theater and a book store. Those were some of the stores off hand. There were also a handful of empty spaces. The parking was free along the inside of the mall street parking where we parked. The Best Part Was Seeing the Bloom Mural!

Nice outside shopping area right in Lakeland…read more Our whole Fam has a great time here and they have many food options. We did notice on our last trip that there were a decent amount of store fronts now closed, hopefully other will come in soon and this isn't going to be another half full shopping center. We would really miss going here. They have a movie theatre, plenty of food choices from semi affordable to less affordable and a decent amount of stores to peruse through. Most of the stores are your basic chains, but at least you can have a nice walk outside with nice scenery while you walk. They had a huge Christmas tree, great for a photo op. The only thing this place is lacking is for a more trendy or niche/boutique stores that would sell non dept. Store/Mall items. You know something different!!! If you want to have a nice walk about while you shop/eat then check this place out, it's good for a day out with Fam for sure!!!

Got a switch game for Christmas but it was for the Nintendo switch 2 and I have the first Nintendo switch, and this was the location it was bought from. I also checked to see if they had it in stock online, which they did but was an hour away from my house. Came in, went to the game section, found it but the last one was the display. We found someone to help but it looked like she was running around like a headless chicken; don't remember her name but she had long straight hair, older, and dark thick glasses. It was obvious that the electronic section was not her normal area because she had no idea how to open the case or how to use the keys, she was visibly frustrated and she took it out on the customers as well. We explained EVERYTHING and she rudely claimed she wasn't allowed to sell the one in the display case. We literally had to beg her to call someone to confirm it was true and what was the first thing the guy said when he walked up? Yeah we can sell it no problem. Crazy. We took it to the front to then exchange it and went home and played. WRONG. that's what we thought happened, drove all the way home to find out she gave us the SAME. EXACT. GAME. I call the next day; today I'm literally writing this review in store and it taken them an hour to look for this game. I speak to a girl at 8:56am and I explained what happened and I reassure her that I'll be there later in the day after 6pm because I work and again ITS AN HOUR AWAY, she finds the game, asks for my name and put it on hold for me. Perfect. I get here around 8:05pm, and the same woman that swapped my game out was working again and remembered us, apologized and started looking for the game, for which she couldn't so she calls for help. Lorene comes and from the moment she came up, she was trying to make it seem like it was our fault. I told her what happened, and that the receipt is in the bag, she started asking me questions I literally told her in the explanation, asked me "why'd you do that" referring to leaving with the original game, then asks where the receipt is, then walks up to her coworkers saying "she claimed they called this morning" which why would I lie? Then asks what game it is we want, just overall dumb questions that were made clear from the very beginning. So after about an hour of barely looking and reciting the same things over again, she's just like "there's nothing we can do sorry". I'm looking at my bf confused because we drove a TOTAL OF 3 HOURS NOW only to get no game and store credit, and it's because your employees aren't communicating or putting things where they're suppose to, and now you're not showing any sympathy or try to be considerate? The woman who did our exchange from the night before, I'm guessing she was some sort of management too, out of the grace of her own heart, came and offered to have the game shipped to our house along with a $40 store credit. Lorene's customer service was terrible, no sympathy, no leadership, no brain, just a sorry example for a manager at a place like target. I truly have never experienced someone this rude and uncaring in management. Please took into having her removed because it seemed like everyone on their team had enough of her as well. Oh! To top it all off some Angel of a man with curly blonde hair and blue eyes came to see what was going on, we explained and he went to the back to look himself, for him to then come out WITH THE GAME IN A TARGET BAG WITH A NOTE ON TOP WITH MY NAME ON IT and apologizes. And this CLOWN Lorene turns around to all of us and says "omg you found it where" he goes "literally in the hold box" trying to contain his anger and frustration. Fortunately we left with the game, unfortunately can't stand the sight or Lorene or be in that store again.
