Drop off car again! I spoke to Nate and said to him that they have me driving an unsafe vehicle. Not only was the power steering out, the fluid was all leaking out on to the manifold and was smoking like crazy. That could have led to a fire. I was laughed at . After my third time in with the same issue and a 1400 unnecessary repair. I asked again about the valve and guess what . It was the valve all along. Nothing I said when I took it in was written down or even listened to. I got half my money back but have lost all trust in them!! Rude employees, mechanic's that don't actually look at the original complaint or listen to what the customer has to say about their own vehicles.

I was a bit cautious because as always there are a few bad google reviews - but as with anything that has reviews sometimes people just come out unhappy. I was in a time bind and Carney's was able to squeeze in my inspection within a 24 hour notice, the fastest of any mechanic in the area for my particular situation. I was quoted $49.95 and the mechanics were helpful and provided professional service. Most of all - after a one hour thorough inspection by Mike (head mechanic I assumed) the charge was still the same price they told me on the phone yesterday; a very honest mechanic. Mike recommended I get a basic vehicle check and the workers were all very friendly and performed excellent work. For that reason I'm giving this shop 5 stars. I'm not from the area, but if I'm ever in Pickney again and need service - I'll come back to Carney's. They assessed my vehicle thoroughly and I will most likely return to get the few tweaks in my vehicle looked at before the next season. Their quotes were very reasonable considering parts and labor and that certified mechanics perform the work. If you get a chance and you're in the area, drop on by!
