The Marshall has a huge parking lot and handicap parking. It's spacious and offers an abundance of items to choose from. The even have clearance sections for maximizing your budget. Unfortunately we didn't see the lite jacket we were in search of but I did see a lot of nice items. read more

Stay away from this Marshalls at all costs. This is actually one of the better locations in the area since it is so big, however, my MAJOR issue with this Marshalls is the fitting room attendant. I had more than ten items, which I knew was the limit, so I counted out ten and left my cart outside. I approached her very friendly "hi, how are you.." In response, even though she watched me count the ten she then proceeded to recount them, and then with a nasty attitude tell me when I come out I need to put my things on this specific rack and leave nothing in the fitting room. I took it with a grain of salt grabbed my things and went into the dressing room and tried some stuff and kept four in the dressing room and brought out six to switch with my other items. I said to her I am going to put these six back and take six more. I picked up six items and started to walk back to the room she goes is that actually six, I looked at her and said yes, as I told you, I am bringing six back since I brought six out. I went in and finished trying on what I had but there was two jackets I still had in the cart that I wanted to try on with the shirts I had in the fitting room. I brought four items out and told her I was going to bring the two last items in. She proceeded to scold me in a loud nasty tone telling me I can't do it this way and thats more than 10 and arguing with me. She told me to take all my things back out to her and check in again and I said listen i'm not going to do that, I will try everything on and come back. When I came out of the fitting room she scolded me with her nasty attitude once again telling me that when I come into her store I need to follow her rules. I told her she was nasty and to have a nice day and she proceeded to stare at me and give me nasty looks and try and say things to me from across the store. She is nasty everytime I come in there but I can assure that I will not be back. read more

Store manager checked us out. After finish scanning all the items I pay she places the receipt on the largest item and say have a good day. I'm like may I have a bag. She goes 5 cent, I pull my card out and she's like you want to put 5 cents on the card. I'm like yes, you didn't tell me I had to pay for the bag before I paid for the items. Then she rolls her eyes and says I'll put the five cents in. I say gee thanks grabs my bag and walk out. You know it's really unfortunate that the people that work here have no common sense and have no respect for anyone. I wish I could rate this place 5 stars because the clothing selection is *chefs kiss* here, but the employment at this location, absolutely horrendous. The people that work here clearly don't like to do their job. Came here one time and I bought a pair of shoes. I was in a rush that day and didn't try on the shoes but when I got to the register the cashier was staring at the shoes and looked very confused and then proceeded to ask another girl that worked there about the shoes. I ended up walking out of Marshall's that day with 2 right feet shoes. Was that partially my fault? Yes, but it's also the fact the TWO workers noticed and didn't care enough to tell me and let me walk out of the store with them. Another story: I walk into Marshall's recently and one of the items that I got didn't have a sticker on them. The cashier told me to go back and find the price of the shirt. Fine not a big deal but it's the fact that when I came back she got mad and gave me the nastiest attitude because I didn't take a picture of the price tag like I don't know maybe do your job and stop telling other people to go find the prices when you're the one working there and can easily find it much faster than me. I think this location really needs to take a good look at the people they're hiring because the employees are extremely lazy and extremely rude. I am not a shopper. Most of the guys my age are not shoppers which is why we dress so poorly. Our wives, girlfriends or both buy clothes for us. Marshalls is easy for me to shop in because I don't have to put up with slick, well dressed salesmen suggesting clothes I can't afford or would be better worn by guys 30 years younger than me. They have a large selection but you do have to bee somewhat lucky to get the right size on items they only have a few of. My wife gave me a gift card here last year so it gives me an incentive to come here and shop for clothes. Still dress like an old man though. read more

I love shopping here! The selection is great, and it is super easy to find a designer item at a really great price. The reason I am not giving this 5 stars is because you won't always find what you're looking for. For example, if you are looking for a gorgeous dress for a party, you have a 50% shot of finding something you love. Also, the beauty section is a bit messy. There is open makeup everywhere and everything is disorganized and a disaster. However, the makeup is very cheap, and I love getting Sydney, my granddaughter, makeup here. Overall, this store is so fun to shop at, even if you don't find anything you love. It is always full of surprises! I just want to mention that there is not a lot of staff walking around to assist you, which I personally enjoy because I like to look myself without being bombarded every two seconds. But if you're someone who likes being assisted while shopping, then I'm not so sure Marshalls is right for you. read more

Marshalls is a very convenient store especially when the holiday season comes around. Many people love designer things, such as myself, so they would like to spend their hard-earned money on something good and stylish. Marshalls does that very well. However, there is one bad side to it and that is that when I go to Marshalls there are so many sales and things that are at a reasonable price that everybody who comes in as customers pick up things and place them elsewhere and that's where things get a bit hard to find. Every time I go to Marshalls, I always get a beautiful and warm winter jacket at a reasonable price though so everything works out. I get wonderful shoes at a reasonable price that fit my budget and style. Marshalls in Melville is one of the top-five go-to stores. Also, now that Black Friday is approaching, I definitely know where to go get my holiday gifts for family and friends and be happy that I'll still be coming home with some cash in my wallet. read more
